Just checked Tuesday Morning for the DC Unlimited Darksied and found a whole lotta nothing. Bummer.

The anticipation (hope) is that the Arkham Knight Batmobile will be sold to the public as a lower-cost version without the electronics and fewer paint details.

True. But I stated there have not been recent versions. It's been more than four years already (yeah, time flies).

Scarecrow in AK is a major villain (in fact, he appears to be THE major villain). So it's logical a figure of him would be made should Mattel do a Wave 3 featuring the Arkham Knight game.

That would be cool. Though I wonder what the price for a retail version would be. It's a nice looking batmobile, but I can imagine it being more expensive than what I would be willing to spend on it.

If they do more game figures, I'm confident that both Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight would be two of them. Harley would be likely, and deserving, candidate as well. Though instead of Two-Face and Riddler, I would want to see Deathstroke and the Joker from Origins.

I can't imagine Mattel doing a figure of her (or even DCC for that matter), but since we're finally seeing Oracle in this next game, I would love to see a figure of her made. Even better if they also made a figure of her father. Maybe a Gordon family 2-pack?

rustyrob 06-22-2014 09:50 AM

Any1 have a good "Mash Up" for "Joker" like DCIH head on Professor X body with Destro medium jacket? Something like that.. I think i remember seeing some1 put the Hatted Joker from DCIH on a Dark Knight Joker fig that really worked, but i cant find the pic.

Autobot_Goldbug 06-22-2014 07:58 PM

I want Multiverse versions of
Amazon.com: DC Direct Batman: Arkham City Series 2: Catwoman Action Figure: Toys & Games
Harley & Talia

snake5289 06-22-2014 08:57 PM

I'd love an Arkham Origins Batman. Would've been nice if he was in the first wave since AO Bane and Deadshot were in it.

redfox 06-23-2014 10:19 AM

Can someone make sense of this? I know the figure in stores look nothing like this. More pics in the link.

Yeah,I saw that while browsing TRU's site, shame it came out looking nothing like that!

Poison Shadow 06-23-2014 11:06 AM

Well that's... interesting. On top of the obvious differences, it doesn't even have the right bat symbol on the chest.

I feel sorry for anyone who orders it based on those pictures.

snake5289 06-23-2014 11:25 AM

Wow that looks so much better. Damn TRU and their false advertising.

redfox 06-23-2014 03:23 PM

After looking at the paint and lack of articulation, I'd say it might be an early mock-up used to get retailers interested in the line.

Autobot_Goldbug 06-23-2014 09:20 PM

That is a mock-up.
I'm assuming it is a mock-up for the DC Infinite Heroes version that was never released. All the articulation spots point to that.

snake5289 06-23-2014 09:41 PM

Wow didn't know DCIH was going to do a Keaton Batman. Bummer because that thing looks pretty awesome.

trebleshot 06-24-2014 07:21 AM

That's the down size of seeing product shots before the line has hit retail. Almost all of "official" toy images are doctored in some way to make them even more appealing, with the disclaimer that it's a pre-production shot and the final result may vary.

So, what's with the random Amazon link, AG?

They made a DCC version of Arkham Catwoman. I want one just like it in 4 inches. ;)

trebleshot 06-25-2014 06:41 AM

Ah. To me your post looked like you only wanted Harley and Talia and accidentally pasted a link to a DCC Catwoman listing while you were typing.

Of course, I wouldn't mind a Multiverse version of Arkham Selena, either. Then I could also make all kinds of catfight jokes with her and the Pfeiffer version. :D

Ravenxl7 06-25-2014 05:56 PM

Figures of Talia and Catwoman would be interesting. Though I have to admit that there are other Arkham characters I would want to get before them. Like Harley and Deathstroke. Though maybe they could wait and do them for a Suicide Squad set of figures.

FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
kiss kiss kiss

*that's going to read incredibly awkward for those who don't get the reference...

redfox 06-25-2014 07:26 PM

Any thoughts on a head/hair combo that would work for Pfeiffer's Selina Kyle? If I get unmasked Batman I'm going to want an unmasked Catwoman right beside him.

305Batman 06-25-2014 08:42 PM

But unmasked Batman is from Batman, not Batman Returns.

We would also need a Black Cat! ;)

Yeah, I know. I don't sweat the small stuff when it comes to stuff like this. As is, there are no other figures that compliment the unmasked version. Unless they make Alfred!

Ravenxl7 06-25-2014 11:52 PM

I've been thinking about the possibilities of an Arrow set of Multiverse figures, and I'm not honestly sure who they should do. There are a lot of potential characters. Enough so that I don't think one set of Multiverse figures would be enough.

That said, there are characters I would want to see made that I can't imagine Mattel actually doing. Like Diggle, Felicity, and even Laurel. Meanwhile there are characters that are strong possibillities, but not ones I would want. Like Deadshot and Huntress. Well, not before other characters anyways.

It's been a while since I watched either one, but was the Returns suit all that different from the Batman one?

Assuming they make any more multiverse figures based on the past movies, they could always do Joker. I'm still kinda surprised he wasn't in this set of figures. Though Alfred wouldn't be a bad idea either.

305Batman 06-26-2014 12:04 AM

I believe the symbol and the armor are different.

redfox 06-26-2014 09:19 AM

At this scale, the changes between costumes are subtle enough that it won't bother me.

It's been awhile since I saw the 1989 Batman film. Was Bruce ever unmasked in front of the Joker in the film?
