I wondered that myself.

Ninjinister 04-10-2015 06:01 PM

Goog God, SaintV! Those are some smokin' setups!

DarthGzus33 04-10-2015 07:09 PM

Good Evening Folks!!! Just posted this over at the "Look At What I Just Got!" Thread...Target Exclusive AOU Goodness that I found this morning...Wish the Ultrons had more articulation though...Still, sweet looking figs!!!

samsson37 04-10-2015 07:28 PM

Anybody else binging on the Netflix daredevil series this weekend ? I won't spoil it, but its sweet. Makes me really want a kingpin figure... that's another $50 toward a custom...damn it...smh lol

snake5289 04-10-2015 07:56 PM

Not yet. I don't have Netflix but my buddy does so I'm hoping to watch it at his place sometime soon.

Anybody spot the AoU two-packs at TRU yet? Thinking of heading up to the nearest one (which is kind of a long drive) in a couple of weeks for my b-day to try and find the Iron Man/Fury pack.

Ninjinister 04-10-2015 09:08 PM

I ordered my Ultron pack from their online store. Didn't feel like busing up there again lol.

Are they supposed to be TЯU exclusives? Ugh.

snake5289 04-10-2015 09:12 PM

Pretty sure yeah.

SaintVeronika 04-11-2015 12:14 AM

i need a titania.....im trying to nail down a jigsaw with a destro and maybe a wonderman head and some basic thugs right now, using an absorbing man and movie red skull to make some streets of rage style skinheads

SaintVeronika 04-11-2015 12:17 AM

here is my black lash....ignore the flash....and the pretty pretty rainbow on tv behind him lol....if id given him the open v necked costume he would be a one man pride parade...as it is, modesty old bean

Edit: I just noticed the Domino. Good gawd we need a Domino in this line and that would be a perfect model.

the hardest part is the boob job lol.....they dont make any base bucks with a low cut enuff top

ukmu 04-11-2015 01:13 AM

great figures SaintVeronika! I wish there were more low cut tops in general in the world!! ;)

Samsson... the Kingpin is closer to $100 than $50 mate! $65 assembled, $20 painted and at least a fiver to ship it. That is $90+ all day my friend. You could assemble it and paint it yourself, but if you want it delivered display ready....punch your wallet 'cause its gonna hurt.

Now moving on to the most fantastic Titania that has ever graced these pages!!!! Bravo good sir, bravo!!!! That wins TWO internets today! Outstanding all around K-Dubiuos....and to think, all that beauty AND it was made on a pink work bench!!!! ;)

*pic deleted by me*

Finally got to add a blue Beast to my MU mutant collection! The gray-ness of my gray showdown Beast was really bugging the heck out of me. LOL. I bought Bishop and Beast from my LCS for 14 bucks each.

I like went through the entire cycle of stages too… happy to find Bishop since he was single packed and my LCS only ordered one case (Black Cat was long gone)… opening him up at home and being horrified that you couldn’t move the head up or even twist the torso at all… like I mean I was really freaking out... like I wasted my money and am never buying any MU ever again type of freak out (lol)… but then once I found somewhat decent poses and added them to the display I finally grew to accept and appreciate them… especially blue Beast… he really looks perfect visually speaking.

Not even sure who is up next for me… MU Emma Frost maybe? I loved the Wolverine and the X-men cartoon, so I wouldn’t mind having Emma Frost in my display even though I usually don’t like her all that much.

And I think the price of MU classic Havok is dropping on ebay right? Hopefully, the value tanks one day and I can open mine up and maybe give him Dr. Strange legs or something and add him to the line-up too. Also… need to acquire a normal Nightcrawler and maybe Storm someday… even though I never really liked her as a kid. Also waiting for Marvel Select to do a 90’s Archangel so I can have all three sizes... he's my boy, along with Mags. :D

SaintVeronika 04-11-2015 06:20 AM

i just got beast too....he looks ok...until u notice how short his arms are...and how his head barely moves, and his shoulders barely move...i tried swappin heads with kitty beast but it just doesnt work....soon i will find a body to swap with....and i payed 13 bucks for a head basically...i think i might have to go cry now...

You're not the first to buy a figure only to realise that just parts are actually useable. I came so close to buying a $90 GI Joe figure for her head, and I bought the Avengers movie Cap variant with the unmasked head for $50 just for it's head.

NOOOO the secret of the pink workbench is out!!!

Well actually that is just my paint booth. Pink Insulation Foam For The Win!! That stuff can be made into anything.

Also UKMU I finally got all your stuff sent out, today so be on the lookout.

That cap was dime a dozen here for about a month, one booth at a local peddlers mall had 3 of them one for $15 and 2 for $10. I finally bought one of the tenners and overnight those things disappeared.

After hitting 3 Targets, I was able to get a full set of MI wave 5 figures. It was still cheaper after tax to get these versus online before shipping and tax too.

They were like $8 apiece on Hasbro Toy Shop, with free shipping if you used the promo codes. I just got Omega Red and blue Beast for $16 shipped yesterday.

ukmu 04-11-2015 12:01 PM

new code is SPRING15 for 20% off and free shipping

Great snag on finding them at retail sounwave!!!!!

Just "went and saw" a review for the new Thunderstrike figure and I've got to say he looks damn nice. The lack of articulation is always a bummer of course, and I wish his arms were bulkier but aside from that the paintwork and sculpting on him look exceptional.

I may need to rethink my intent to place parts of him onto a different body and just keep him as-is. I'm really quite pleased with how he looks, and as fan of the character that's saying something.

I got most of the wave during the first 20% off and free shipping from HTS, then picked up the rest of the wave and a few extras for $8 and change after getting Target to price match HTS plus the BOGO 50% off sale Target ran last week.
