Ahh, understandable. I nabbed myself a Kyo and Iori, and they're two of the gems in my collection - sold off my Mai years ago though, after it became nearly impossible to get a Chun-Li to go with her. Good luck! They're well worth the hunt, IMO. (Then again, any KoF action figures are worth my time and money, so I might be biased)

If anyone comes across,or sees online... the new Black Panther or Nick Fury from the new series...hollar....I can't find these two (for normal prices<meaning $25.00 max>)

Well they are showing up on Amazon right now but it's sketchy third party....BP is going for around $50 but others are less. I'll bite when BP is below $30 I guess since I suspect he'll be hard to find in the stores. My guesstimate on store appearances though is that it will likely be another month before they start showing up with regularity - that's just based on the amazon third party to retail history.

The sense I get if I pass by toy aisles nowadays is that all the stores seem to be stocking a wave or 2 behind the newest releases, so all the hard to find stuff now will eventually pop up in droves over the next year at some point. But that really shouldn't be news to all you Marvel folks since we've all played this game for years now. =)Before you know it, we'll be in the holiday season able to get all these characters for 20% off with free shipping at HTS. That's how it ALWAYS goes down, so be patient people. Or at least try. lol

I'm not worried really, save for finding another Spider-Gwen - a friend of mine is really into he, and she's been trying to get a Gwen ever since my case arrived from BBTS at the beginning of the year, so I've been trying to hunt one down for her.

You know. The one figure that is being bought up the moment the case is opened.

But other than that, I'm not worried. I'm cherry-picking all but the X-Men wave (which I'm just going to order a case of when it's available), which has worked out for me thus far.

I hope they all show up at retail.
Although my local Target oddly had 2 full cases of the All Father Wave yesterday, like they just appeared there when last week they had nothing in stock. I checked all the figures to make sure some scalper didn't hit the store, but everything was good. I picked up a Wanda because I'm sick of hoping Hasbro will make a Polaris. I'm just going to do it myself.

@Boy Blunder - that's exactly what I'm doing. Cherry picking except for the X-wave. If the BAF lists are true I don't really have a desire to complete any of those waves.

@Spyne - I've seen that wave so many times recently it's ridiculous. Good call on the SW though, I've got two extra myself that, once I finally sit down and do it, I'll have a custom Enchantress and Polaris I think I'll be happy with as placeholders until when/if Hasbro finally concedes they need to be made.

If anyone's noticed I haven't been posting much lately, caught in renovating, and caught between the waves and just feeling pretty "meh" about the line right at this moment. I'm sure that'll change once the X-Wave hits, and we do have SDCC coming up in 3 months along with its exclusive speculation.

Yeah, of what we've been (actually) shown thus far, I'm only wanting 2-3 characters a wave outside of the X-Men wave - Caucasian Fury (solely for the Dirk Anger head), MCU T'Challa, MCU Wanda, Nico, Iron Fist (if only he had the disco collar...), Miles, and maybe Silk. I want that Dormammu BAF, so here's hoping that either I fall in love with the entire Strange wave, or a lot of people don't want their parts :D

I hear ya. If i did not have the Dormammu from last year's SDCC I'd totally be getting that but I don't need two. Looking over your list of figures you want, mine is very similar, MCU BP, MCU SW, Nico, Silk, then add in Namor., the Falcap/Kate Bishop/Vision three pack and maybe Hobgoblin and ELectro. There may be others in the Strange line we have not seen I want yet, I have a feeling Mordo and Ancient one I'll want.

ALso I'll gladly give you any parts I end up getting myself at shipping cost, unless I do decide to just get the entire wave for whatever reason (unlikely) then I'll just have a second Dormy on hand for display purposes...

Saw a Spider Gwen and Venom at Target today.

Well, here's the sitch. I have 2 versions of Akuma, gray gi with red hair and silver gi with white hair. They have never been opened. What I wanted to do was get rid of the silver gi body with the red haired head and keep the opposite items to display. However, if the offer in cash or trade is good enough, I have no problem sending either sealed figure as they are.

I also have the regular and unpainted Mai/Chun Li 2 packs as well as I think a single Chun Li colored version.

As I said, for me to part with them the offer has to be good. They are crazy cool.

This goes for anyone reading this. If you end up with new, sealed ML and you don't want part of what's inside the package (BAF by itself, figure by itself, acc. by themselves, etc.) and you want to trade for either some part of some new item or an older item (figure by itself, BAF by itself, acc. by themselves etc.) let me know. I would love to get new items as they come out by trading for all the parts to them piecemeal.

Yeah, Namor's on my list, but given he's the Walgreens exclusive, I didn't include him - same with the Sam/Vision/Kate three-pack (though I'm not sure if I'll keep that Vision - depends on how he looks with Wanda vs. the Hulkbuster one, I suppose). As for the stuff that's been rumored, but not photographically confirmed... Electro and Shocker are totally on my list.

I'm reading online reports that cases of Civil War Legends have surfaced in STL. Strange that they would show up so far from either coast.

I'll be checking tonight in CT for any NY-Tri-state showings. If I see anything, I'll hit you up.

Marvel Legends waves always end up one of two ways for me.


Either there's a decent amount (2 or 3) of figures that I wouldn't mind skipping out on, but I really want the BAF or I don't want the BAF, but I want the entire rest of the wave (Dormammu, since I already have the SDCC version).

Awesome it's a deal. We'll figure it out once I get the figure(s)....but I'll definitely hold the parts for you, and if you find them elsewhere no big deal. :D

@SymbiSpidey, yeah Hasbro can be evil, but I tend to work through it okay mostly. There's definitely been times I just went ahead and completed the wave because I got more figures than I expected. The only wave I can think of in recent times I know I really only completely because of the BAF was the Hulkbuster wave, I had absolutely no need of a new Iron Man, War Machine and Vision....but darn it...just too cool to pass up.

Dorkside just got cases of Gwen and Venom in.

Again, Dorkside. They will have the Dormammu BAF up as soon as pre-orders for the wave open. This will cost a pretty penny, but if you want to avoid buying the other figures it might be worth it.

And no, I don't get paid by the good people at Dorkside. ;)
It's just when your country doesn't have a Target, TrU, Walmart, Walgreens or Disney Store, and when HTS and Amazon don't deliver to your country, and when BBTS and Entertainment Earth do, but only if you give them your firstborn in payment and the one "local" store you know who imports them sells them for close to $50 per figure shipped... you tend to really appreciate Dorkside.

As for Dormammu, I know for certain that I'll be getting at least two figures in the wave, and I'm kind of hoping I want more, so I'd rather hunt down the parts I need than buy a completed one and sell off what I have doubles of.

Now, it's my turn to thank you. I'll definitely be checking out that Namor lead as I'm very worried that I'll have problems finding him. The only Walgreens exclusives I've ever found in stores were Black Ant (purchased) and Agent Venom (not interested). Did they (Robotkingdom) specify when your pre-order will be available? The rumor going round the web is May, 22nd...

oooh maybe next month? That will be sweet. It may take a little time but there's like 50 walgreens on every street corner here (yes I'm exaggerating but there's a LOT)...so even if it takes a month to show up like Black Ant, eventually I'll have no trouble finding him. I have yet to have to get a Walgreens exclusive online and I pretty much purchase everything online.....

There are plenty of Walgreens here, they just don't stock anything on-time or in great numbers. I spoke to a Walgreens stock-woman on Monday and she confirmed this by telling me that they order 3-5 pieces of the exclusives. She told me she would request more of the Namor exclusive when he became available (yeah right, my ass you will...I'm a cynic). The bit of info she provided that I do believe is that they receive deliveries on Tuesdays...it's a start.
