That is a very cool Casey Jones and Night Stalker.

The Ferret was one of my favourites as a kid, so I had to have it.

I sold all of my Turtles of Grayskull figures off, but I couldn't resist the Casey, since my closest Walmart had the whole new wave on clearance for $9.88 each.

Looks great. Congrats.

Very nice new toys. Another captain. :) The collection continues to grow. Congratulations.

I made a list, but I haven't decided what to buy yet. I also had a difficult dental operation and I'm trying to get better now. I follow the news of new figures.

Thanks. Hope you're on the mend!

You always get the new toys first!

I got my McFarlane Tommy Gun waiting for Sgt Rock. He has a gun holding hand, right? It's hard to tell.

Dental work is no fun! I just got over one myself. Hope you get better soon.

Thank you very much to both of you. Sorry to hear that. I hope you are better now too. Get well soon.

Yes, dental operations are definitely very difficult. I'm slowly getting better.

My Jinx, Torch and Gnawgahyde are lost in shipping because of that outage Friday. Sigh...hope it's not lost permanently.

Have you opened your Batmobiles? I love all these Batmobiles, but I'm quickly running out of space.

Bummer! Hope they show up for you soon. Jinx is a fun figure. Torch is awesome looking but a pain in the arse to handle. His backpack won't stay on and getting him to hold his flamethrower properly takes more patience than I have. Gnawgy is really good, but the ab joint on mine is super floppy so he won't stand very well.

I haven't opened the Batmobiles yet. My room is upside down still, because of selling stuff, so I don't have the real estate to open them up. In fact, I have them in another room, because the boxes are just too big.

veryfigurefan 07-24-2024 11:24 AM

The new toys look really nice. You can make a custom shelf for the Batmobile series. This way, if all the Batmobiles are together and a Batman figure is added to them, they can look amazing. I wanted to give such an idea.

Master splinter looks very funny. Toilet Taxi is a toy that reminds you of old times. :)

Congratulations.

It is a really big problem that there is no space left in the room to display figures. You are quite right. I don't know how we will solve this problem. I'm exploring in my room right now, as soon as I find a new space I need to fill it. :)

SpasticPlastic 07-24-2024 05:51 PM

Thanks! Space has always been my biggest hurdle to overcome, but now with the release of all these vehicles, I may be in serious trouble. I'd like to think that I could just put the Batmobiles in a closet until I can make room for them, but truth is, I'm not getting any younger and that day may never come. I'm starting to feel the burn out a little bit. That's why I buried myself in painting figures for a few months…just for a different breath of stale air.

Speaking of…I will post my Doc Browns soon!

Cyclopswc 07-26-2024 04:28 PM

Doc Browns! Woo hooo!

My package got returned to Amazon, and instead of shipping it out again, it's their policy to return everything to stock shelves and refund your money. Sigh... So I had to re-order everything, but Doc is now on "Backorder". Sucks.

That's their policy? Crazy. Sorry, dude.

And, yep! Doc Browns are imminent. I've taken pictures of about half of them and am nearly done getting their "permanent" home ready.

Yup, my package was one of the victims of the Crowdstrike glitch last week. You'd imagine Amazon got tons of packages returned last week, but instead of just slapping a new shipping label on it, it's their policy to re-stock all returned packages and refund your money. STRANGE!

Doc Browns, this is good news. Let's see what kind of figures come out.

You are right about making room for Batmobiles, it is not easy. Also, yes, we get older and things get a little more difficult. Keeping so many items together and cleaning them is considered crazy for people who are not familiar with this subject, and sometimes I agree with them. But I think this situation is left behind with the motivation that collecting gives.

I am sure you feel better in this painting job. Because such similar handmade works definitely relax people and can keep them away from the stress of life for at least a while. I felt this a lot while doing diorama work. In other words, I think the air you breathe is extremely new, clean and fresh.

Great toys again. I'm really curious about that Batman vs Bane pack. I've been looking at it for a few days. Would you recommend it?

By the way, the alf series is growing and they are all really great. :)

Congratulations.

I haven't opened the 2 pack yet, but I can say that both single releases of those figures were phenomenal. The standard Knightfall Batman was my favourite figure last year and Bane is just an awesome figure all the way around, so I expect that these are just as good, structurally. Mileage will vary, of course, on the paint apps.

I'm a sucker for non-super hero characters in super hero costumes, so I had to get the Alf.
