I only get TF figures in 2 collections, stuff in the Classics/Generations line or things that can fit in with the Classics/Generations figures. Stuff like Fall of Cybertron Grimlock , Blaster , and Soundwave can blend into my C/G collection so they slide. I am planning on getting Shockwave from Prime because he is as close to his true design as we will get, thank god all that armor crap comes off, ( I would have got FoC Shockwave but he was a munchkin like the FoC Soundwave, I hate when they make big characters into small toys) , but I might have to do some sanding down of the giant launcher button on the arm.

Had my Pile of Loot shipped to me from BBTS. It had been building up for a while! Opening that stuff up led into a frenzy and I opened up a bunch of other stuff that I've been meaning to get to for a long time. Every figure pictured here was opened in one sitting. Just a few thoughts:
1. Overall, NECA is such an incredible toy company. The increase in the quality of their product continues to impress me. Their Evil Dead II Henrietta figure is one of the most disgusting things ever. I love it. 2. Diamond Select is doing an absolutely incredible job with their Marvel Select line. This Barbarian Hulk figure is nothing short of spectacular. Easily one of the best figures you can ever get for your money. $20 for a giant, heavy figure is simply unbeatable. 3. TMNT Classics are almost perfect figures! I love the sculpt and articulation on them, but the plastic is just a little soft in spots. Playmates knocked these out of the park. 4. The new Hasbro 6" Wolverine is easily one of the best figures of this character ever! Same goes for the new 52 Batman by Mattel. I'm in love with these guys. http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps32250217.jpg One of the things included in my POL was Diamond Select's 1:15 KITT vehicle. It's beyond awesome and highly recommended for anyone who was a fan of Knight Rider back in the day. Such a sweet car. http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps04be4f7a.jpg http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps2f6bd318.jpg http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps2677e87e.jpg http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps8c4343b7.jpg |

These didn't come in today, but this is what I've gotten this week...
MP Sideswipe http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps2daa3413.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...psa9ae7469.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps7a276b03.jpg ...looks well with the other MPs IMO http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps8fa6c517.jpg Aaaannnd.... http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...psd02f414e.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...psbcf357c1.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps663bd3fe.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps74f404e1.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...psf969c6d5.jpg ....Mexican G1 Skywarp! Notice the purple nosecone & plastic wheels. :) I've wanted this guy for a long time but had never seen one for sale until now. Not much as far as the amount of figures, but a well funded to say the least. I'm expecting a rather large package to ship out Monday, so hopefully the FedEx guy will give me something to post mid-week or so. I've been back on a Transformers binge, but I'm trying to make an effort to stay active over here; I really like the community on ToyArk. ;) |
I have a quick question for you guys - if I buy something from a pawn shop in another state and do the payment through paypal, is that a guaranteed transaction like buying something through ebay? I just want to make sure I can get my money back if the item never shows up, and I can't find it anywhere else (including ebay) so this is my only option.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17857818/deadites.jpg ....and to keep things topically appropriate, I somehow stumbled upon two Army of Darkness 3 3.4 sets.... for $4.99 each. I was hysterical, haha. Got a used modern Optimus Prime (probably retailed for $15-20) for $4.99 too. I tapped it to my dashboard for the time being, I'll most likely give it away to one of my friend's kids. |
PAY PAL has your back no matter where you use them.

Picked up all four of Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe wave 2 for $11 each. Sorely tempted to buy a second Smokescreen to display without the BH armor as part of my Prime cast shelf (while the other is with the BH-specific designs/characters).

They're MU scale (3 3/4 inches tall). Limited articulation but the sculpting/paint is really good on them. They must have been sitting in someone's garage for years because I bought both sets for about $10 total, meaning the original owner must not have cared about them very much. I want to open them, but I'm thinking about just displaying them as-is.
