I'm really excited about Harley Quinn and Superman. Is Harley going to come with an alternate head? I remember seeing a photo of her (I think it was from SDCC 2015) and she was displayed with an alternate head. If that's the case, I will probably buy two figures for a display I'm working on.

I think it's the designer series Harley Quinn(s) that come with alternate heads, Icons comes with alternate hands, mallet and gun.

Yeah but none of the retailers show or list that alternate head, and the pie and rubber chicken seem gone too:

Oh, I wonder if the pie got put in one of those accessory packs instead of with Harley. They could lose the sledgehammer in favor of the chicken and an alternate head and I wouldn't mind. I already have a few figures with hammers and baseball bats. I would prefer the alternate head because there aren't many Harley Quinn figures with big smiles. The DCUC is the only one I have with a smile showing teeth. It jus t seems like it fits the character better. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks!

The pie is included with the Fate Helmet accessory pack.
Not sure what happened to the chicken or the alternate head, but I wish DC would make up its mind with what accessories are coming with what (and be more communicative when they have to cut things out). Flash was shown to have two fisted hands but only came with one. Joker was shown to have two guns but he apparently is only going to come with the tommy gun. Hell, I don't even expect Aquaman to come with his alternate head and Superman to come with the bot at this point. |
What is this accessory pack of which you speak?

No, I mean I've never heard of them at all. Are they for the Icons line? When did they come out?

God damn, that's way too expensive.
|
I'm on the fence about those packs. If you watch the videos from Toy Fair then they are more substantial than they look, the mini figure is about 2" and the trophy cases are 2.5-3" and then you get quite a few accessories. But its not exactly cheap.
|
They should be charging $11 max for that.
|
I wish they had a focus to each pack. Like a Batman accessory pack with Batmite, Baterangs, Harley's bomb pie, etc. A big set of light constructs would sell like hotcakes too.

I do agree that they're a tad pricey, but not by too much. Twenty bucks would have been better, imho. That said, both of them are going to be really tempting even at the price of a figure. Ch'p and Bat-Mite are too adorable to ignore, and the helmets with the cases are really nice. I definitely hope this is something they continue as the line goes on.

Oops, was looking at wrong pack.
Now if those two packs were combined, maybe $28 wouldn't be so out of the question... |
I have to agree, they seem a little lacking for $28. I think a LOT of it will come down to the quality of the items. If they are on par with the Batman I have so far, I would be more comfortable in the $15-$18 range.
Now if Ch'P and Batmite were mini figures with some impressive articulation, I would be all over the sets at $28 each. Sadly they look like they have 90s style arm rotation and that's about it. Maybe if they were character or theme specific sets instead of mix and match I would be more comfortable with the price. A bunch of Lantern stuff along with Ch'P or a combination of Batman, Joker and Harley stuff with Batmite for instance. Accessory packs are great and I wish more lines put them out but they always seem to be overpriced so fans do not buy them and they stop being made. |
