Sort of off topic, but yeah, that's what I really can't stand about that film. There's a TON of talent that went behind its production. I'm a big fan of both the writer and director and on top of that the work they put into the creatures was top notch. That's why it's so baffling and frustrating that the film was so bad.

Unfortunately Batman Vs. Predator got an 'I wish' from Randy. Not happy, but expected.

redx24 09-06-2016 05:24 PM

Some of the monsters from the movie HOUSE would be great

Yeah, it's not good.

Ghost 09-09-2016 06:38 AM

Definitely praying NECA re-releases the "Lost Predators" with the new Ultimate molds. I missed them all the first round and the second hand market on some of those is utterly ridiculous. So a second chance with a superior figure is a dream for me.

Randy doesn't sound too convinced when people have asked, chum. Which is a shame. The Predator lines seem to be planned around two years at a time, and we already know we're getting another AvP set and Ultimate movie Preds next.

There seems to be more interest all round in releasing better versions of AvP2 figures. And now finishing the enormous Kenner line; even that will take years at the current rate.

Plus the comics and games are now providing brand new characters that will likely sell much better than the old ones, and there will apparently be multiple accessory packs. The past will stay in the past for a long time I reckon. Though maybe you'll see loads of Ultimate Predator 2 figures if City Hunter does well?

snake5289 09-09-2016 12:33 PM

I'm definitely waiting for the redone Wolf Pred. The movie wasn't great by any means (I admit I liked it though) but he was too badass to not get another go with better articulation.

Tulip (Preacher)

I'm honestly surprised she wasn't part of series 1 since NECA almost always puts 3 figures in a set and she is necessary to complete the team. That would just be wrong to not make her now. Even if series 1 undersells there is still a likelihood NECA could release Tulip in a similar fashion to how they released Booker from Bioshock Infinite. According to Randy the Infinite line was overall under-performing but they went ahead with Booker anyway because they recognized those who had bought into the line would still want the protagonist, so even if the Preacher line doesn't soar I'd say it's a safe bet we'll get Tulip under similar circumstances. Of course I want the line to do well so that we can get even more.

SpasticPlastic 09-10-2016 01:16 PM

Yeah, I can't fathom not having Arseface, as well.

Nexusgr 09-14-2016 05:41 AM

Do you think there is a chance for Pacific Rim Leatherback ultra deluxe figure?

Wolverine 09-14-2016 12:23 PM

Since NECA makes video game figures, I want them to make a line for Red Dead Redemption.

They don't have the Pacific Rim license anymore, it just ended with their last Gipsy Danger and Hardship. For what it's worth a lot of people already asked for an updated Leatherback and it got shot down in favor of other Kaiju. I kinda get that since the only new features they could include would be better paint on the head (the teeth mainly) and maybe some better articulation but his size and look is proper and to scale with the rest of the line so the update wouldn't be particularly warranted compared to like when they redid Knifehead (who was grossly too small in his original release). I hope that if NECA gets to do PR2 they can mop up some first film stuff too that they didn't get to like: Raiju, Karloff, Onibaba, Brawler Yukon (who we actually kinda got teased they were doing), maybe an update Crimson Typhoon, etc.

I don't know why but Rockstar doesn't seem to care about merchandising their licenses much outside of the game realm. I mean I get it with GTA since those would just be toys of gang members and criminals but Red Dead has the wild west theme which carries potential marketing so it seems like something they could've marketed as figures. Too late now though unless they do a sequel, and watch if they do make a sequel somehow McFarlane will get the license and crush all our hopes.

OGTrilogy 09-14-2016 01:28 PM

Eleven and the Monster from Stranger Things.

trowa195 09-14-2016 01:53 PM

Futurama, not sure of Toynami still has the license but it would be really cool to have another chance at the figures I missed out on. NECA did a great job with the Simpsons.

Wow that's a good thought, since Groening just uses the same style for both shows it would be easy for NECA. I never got any of the Simpsons figures but I like Futurama more anyway so those would be cool to see however unlikely they may be.

At least we will definitely have a healthy custom figure thing going on once the two film Pred's Ultimate figures are released. Some paint here and there and some body part swapping and we can pretty much build each Lost Predator on our own.

Definitely plan on making a Scout.

Is anyone with me in convincing NECA to make the Vegetable Gremlin? If they plan on giving up on the Gremlins series, the Vegetable Gremlin is an absolute must! Probably the single MOST unique gremlin of all. He could even come in a clear salad clam-shell box (recloseable of course) with accessories like a metal pot and two salad-dressing IVs (as seen in the deleted scenes).

Poison Shadow 10-07-2016 07:56 AM

I kinda wish they'd take another stab at Resident Evil. A RE2 Archives line would be great, with classic Claire Redfield (not the Darkside Chronicles redesign) and a better RPD Leon. Not to mention G-Birkin.

Figures based on RE Revelations 1 & 2 also, giving us Moira and Barry Burton, Alex Wesker, Parker, Rachel, etc.

It's the 20th anniversary of the original game and there's no cool merch to celebrate outside of an odd plushie, RE6 Hot Toys, and one Nendoroid. Shame, that.

snake5289 10-07-2016 10:51 AM

Yes it is but no one seems to really care about RE anymore. And no I'm not really counting Outlast 2.5 (which is what I'm calling it until I see something that even remotely resembles RE).
