Warlock is a BAF?!?

Holy hell, that's great! I wish there was at least one villain in the wave though, but either way, everyone but Dazzler looks fantastic!

After Darkhawk's progress in the fan-poll from last year, I knew it was only a matter of time and the right franchise to stick him in.

i know there's a cult following, hell i have a video retrospective on him in the works, but it's like no one ever seems to acknowledge him so to see him in plastic is just a shock.

The 3 3/4 in. are definitely the winners here. At least the 6 inch figures will be giving my wallet a break. Not to excited for Warlock, but it's definitely a great BAF for those interested.

MUfan97 07-23-2016 06:12 PM

*Assumes Christian Bale Batman voice*

That 3 3/4 inch Spider-man with Shocker and Tombstone is both the one we deserve, and the one we need right now. 'Cause seriously, we need a better Spidey. We've been waiting since 2012! Ding dong doopy floopy shoopy!

You read that in the Batman voice, right?

Navaan 07-23-2016 06:16 PM

Hearing conflicting reports on the Monica figure. Sadly (for me), it does seem she is 6 inch. Congrats to those collectors, darn for us 4 inch collectors. Still, some great, great stuff coming.

She was definitely a character I on 3.75 wish list.

Monica is definitely 6in. It appears that she is re-using the trench-coat from the MCU Scarlet Witch.

CasualCollector 07-23-2016 06:21 PM

Is the Spidey with Shocker a 3.75 or a new 6-inch. I'm praying it is 6 inch.

I believe it's been said that both Spidey and Shocker are 3.75.

He got a pretty good MU figure in 2011, but yeah I've always liked Chris Powell and it's good to see him also getting a Legends figure.

3.75", it's using the same body as the 3.75" Daredevil, Jim Lee Cyclops, etc. Besides 6" already has a great Spidey so it's not like more are needed, hell they're making another good 6" Spidey already based on his Ultimate look.

Don't forget "Monica Rambo". Don't mess with her, she's seen some $@#%!!;)

graphyt 07-23-2016 06:46 PM

I'm looking forward to that new body mold on Spidey 2099 and Sunfire. Looks like that's about the 'martial artist' body that I've wanted for a while. Pity they didn't use it for Iron Fist but its probably a little too broad for him

All I need to know is if that Dark Phoenix is six inch or not. Because of it is it saves me the trouble of having to customize the regular one.

The figure appears to have chest and wrist articulation, which leads me to believe that she's 6in.

EDIT: Apparently wrist articulation is making a comeback in 3.75, so it's possibly 3.75.

Wait, what? If it's true, I couldn't be happier. I can deal with the rest of the reduced articulation on most figures as long as we get wrists. It's a posing essential, in my opinion.

A couple of Corrections

Just some helpful corrections for you to make.

1. It's not Monic Rambo, it's spelled Monica Rambeau and you should also mention she goes by the aliases Spectrum, Pulsar, Photon, and Captain Marvel.
2. I'm 90% certain the "robot with hair" is Warlock from the New Mutants (not to be confused with Adam Warlock).

Just trying to help. Thanks for all your coverage.

Navaan 07-23-2016 08:01 PM

Though I still need a 4 inch Kingpin, the fact that we're getting an updated Magneto (totally head swapping or trimming the hair) and a Ronin two pack, my villain want list dwindles. Though I still want a Justice, America Chavez, Bishop Hawkeye, White Toger and Hellcat for my collection, we've got a lot of good stuff, and I feel oodles better about the line as a whole.

Not 100% sure on that. The rumor mill just keeps on spinning...

A GOOD Sue Storm... ♡ ...with a Herbie... too excited... no words... be back later !!!

ok0rdib 07-23-2016 08:51 PM

When the new X-Men wave was leaked a couple of weeks ago, I was pretty excited. I've been wanting a Colossus figure for a long time, but it looks like I'm going to have to keep waiting. I was 100% sure they were going to release him in his classic costume, so it really sucks that they didn't. Hopefully they release a classic Clossus sooner or later, I really wish they'd screw off on all of these modern costumes. It's fine if they release modern versions of big characters like Spider-Man or Captain America, but keep the rest of the releases classic, those looks are iconic for a reason.

/End Rant

I'm really excited for that Cyclops though, looks really freaking awesome! Sue Storm looks really great too, I hope we get classic versions of the rest of the Fantastic Four, been wanting a good classic Thing figure forever! Pretty sure everything else is a pass. I'm also really glad that they're introducing a new muscle-bound body buck, because the Hyperion buck is absolutely terrible! Makes me sad that they didn't hold off on Venom, and use that new buck for him, it would have been an infinitely better figure!

I agree, Sue Storm looks fantastic! I'm hoping her teaser-esque appearance at the end of the panel is a signal that FF waves are on the horizon, and not some kind of exclusive one-and-done multi-pack.

Finally.... Shocker! A few other gems in there. Small handful of figures though. Can't wait to see the paint apps on Mary Jane.
