Think I will be passing on the DC/DH bundle after all....$120 plus for essentially one figure plus the crapshoot of the preorder process and selling off the figures I don't want, not really worth it.
Also I have a strong feeling Neca is going to sneak in some other way to get them out before the end of the year, before McFarlane having the license goes into effect.

I hope you're right, because I want at least 6 of each, but, don't forget that Mattel still holds the reins for the rest of the year. I'm sure they would still prevent a wider release.

You're definitely not getting the DC figures in a wider release. It took them 2+ years just to get them to be con exclusives. Even then, they were not even allowed to even do any artwork on the packaging. These were severely restricted in general. and once McFarlane gets that collector license, don't expect NECA to be able to do anything like this anytime soon.

$120 for the (2) 2 packs is not a terrible deal. These are super exclusive. Like Joe said, just look at their twitter statements and comments on these. Took them 2-3 years just to finally be at where we are now. These are gonna be hard to get, but if you do manage to snag a set, you will have no issues making back up to twice your expense costs on the after market. These are gonna double-triple in price unfortunately and people will pay those costs.

I usually have no luck getting these online, but I'm gonna try for the Turtles set, and the DC DH sets.

NECA does have a track record of releasing "exclusives" at a later date, so I understand some people's apprehension in regards to these exclusives. The added stress of having to deal with the mad rush of online checkout certainly doesn't help. HOWEVER, as I've learned many many times in my life as a collector, if you really want these and can afford them, GET THEM! Speculating on their possible future availability may only end up in disappointment and regret. Then again, I'm not really a gambling man, so take that for what you will.

Well I want the turtles set,both dc sets and John Conner. I assume I will miss everything. I will try for the turtles first. I honestly don’t even care at this point. Neca makes it to difficult. I get them you do me a favor,I don’t you do me two.

Plus my neca rep quit some time ago and my stores are not being restocked.

I'm in the same boat. I'm just grateful that there seems to be a lot people want this year, from JC to the DC sets, as opposed to last year where it was Hawkins or Guillermo Del Toro, who people weren't exactly tripping over to get.

It is my hope that the robust offerings this year will at least take some of the attention off of the TMNT set, and buy me a few extra seconds in checkout.

Ok see my issue there is if I use that option,if something sells out I have to take it out of the cart and try again,then it will all be sold out. Also they seem to list one item at a time and my fear is they list that option last,then the stuff is gone anyway. I feel like this is a no-win situation.

The bundle is a separate thing. Limited available for the one-click option. If that sells out, then you have then move to the individuals, and could technically still get everything if their connection holds and you're fast enough.

I hate that you can have items snatched from your cart. You should have like 5 minutes to pay, and after that it goes back into the pool! You can't snatch stuff from people's carts in Walmart or Target (well, you can, but you risk getting clocked in the face :P )
