Ran thru and cleaned up this thread. Deleted some posts, and then deleted posts responding to those posts if needed.

Please keep comments civil.

Keep all social political and religious stuff off site. Even casual mention, all sides of the spectrum.

That's general asks here, all the time, aside from any specific posts in the thread.

Thanks.

Animated series Morph. (Regular or charred).

Boogieman4hire 07-13-2020 01:21 AM

I might have to find space in my house after all. Hope the next tier is nipple tassels... I mean chest mounted capturing cables.

You "100 percent agree" that scalpers should... well, apparently I can't say what it said before the moderator got to it, but it was bad.

We're talking about toys. If you wish death upon people who get to the toys before you then you have a problem.

Please stop projecting your personal financial issues on everyone else and actually read what I wrote. I wasn't discussing whether or not it was the right time for this project to be produced, I was discussing how laughable it was to think that one of the greatest action figure lines of all time was going to produce a crowdfunding project that was going to fail. This was never going to fail, the only question was how successful was it going to be, and I think that has been answered. Then you had the people who actively wanted it to fail, which is just absurdity of the highest order, but given that this was funded so quickly that group didn't have much of a chance to complain.

On top of that, every time I come to this board and see people discussing premium collectibles there's a clear lack of understanding over how it works. This was no different. I've been a part of this hobby in one form or another for thirty-plus years and there's always been a vocal group whining incessantly about how they want their "toys" but don't want to pay for them. It's really not that hard to understand, I mean, it's not "rocket science", right?

One thing people fail to take into account is a lot of “nerds” save up $$$$ for the conventions. That money is now freed up. Also, a lot of “nerds” work in essential services (IT, programming, and other services that are related to the conversion to working at home), meaning not as many are furloughed or laid off.

This times a thousand. All that convention money, movie night money, concerts etc. Plus in my state anyway, most on unemployment are making more than working. People have money, and hasbro is doing a great job of parting them from it. Lol.

Don't bother with him. Early on when The Rona was first designated as a "pandemic" he was VERY vocal about going to Target and other stores to go Toy Hunting because he was SOOOO bored and didn't see how a "pandemic" should change the way he lived his life in any way. His tone deaf lack of empathy about anything other than his own wants/needs are legendary here. Your best bet is to ignore him.

X-Men Legends Marvel’s Sentinel HasLab Female Prime Sentinel Unlock

Comedian 07-13-2020 07:15 AM

Wow. They are really sweetening the pot. Short of adding a second sentinel, I don’t know how you get it better than this.

Sentinel chick? hmmm... belly button laser? ROFLOL Sorry, but I get a giggle out of sculpted belly buttons on figures in tights. Almost as funny as the old Toybiz's Sabertooth bulge.

I don't know the Sentinel Prime characters. They came after I stopped reading the comics. Might be awesome, might be crap. If I were to get this, I would rather have two "male" sentinels to army build like the X-Men 1990's arcade game rather than a female sentinel.

Oh well. Great for those that want it. Hasbro really is pulling out all the stops on this. It's a much better value than Unicron now.

Spyne98 07-13-2020 07:26 AM

Yes!!!!!!!

DANZ 07-13-2020 07:36 AM

Wow, this is shattering both of the other Haslabs. The barge took most of its time to fund, Cookie Monster failed, and Unicron needed an extension. I absolutely see them adding at least two more tiers. My guess?

10,000 backers - Multiple Lasers and blast effects (eye lasers, chest lasers, hand laser, foot rockets)

11,000 backers - Days of Future Past Comic 6" Kitty Pryde,

Dr Kain 07-13-2020 07:37 AM

Cookie Monster?

Not impressed by that one at all. I could do without the gender swapped Bastion guy. I would have rather had a beam effect or something, but whatever.

Both excellent suggestions. I also wouldn't mind a second tentacle in case you want him catching two muties at once.

Bo Ttef 07-13-2020 09:13 AM

Called it on the Female Sentinel! Woooo!Super excited!

Well since we can't have female figures with a nice butt and boobs... at least we get a somewhat feminine stomach.

ShabbyBlue 07-13-2020 10:06 AM

Now the question is.... will we be getting anymore tier stretch goals? Hasbro hasn't officially indicated that yet on the Haslab page even after we've surpassed the 9000 goal already.

It's the issue that the costume is so "tight" that you can see the belly button... but they are a supposed to be able to fight in the outfit? It's ridiculous. It bugs me in modern comics too. I prefer the older comics. Costumes so tight that you see *almost* every muscle, but they somehow can sometimes tuck keys, clues, etc without pouches into said costumes. It's laughable.

Again, I realize the reasons, I still find it silly.

Augustus10 07-13-2020 10:45 AM

Ehhh... comics are about escapism. I am willing to suspend belief for small details like that. But I guess I find it strange that Hasbro is so concerned feminists are going to bring them down for sculpting female figures with unrealistic proportions(aka big boobs, small waist, big butt). Its an idealized version of what most men find attractive. How many women are buying Marvel Legends anyway? And how many of that subpopulation of customers are actually crazy enough to get angry about the figures having DDD cup size? Where I really saw the difference was between the older Black Cat ML figure and the new Black Cat figure from a few years ago... I like so curvyness on my female action figures... sorry not sorry

Thor Laserpunch 07-13-2020 10:56 AM

Urgh. A vocal minority of supercreeps always has to make us regular creeps look bad smh.

I assume we get one or two more small goals, maybe some effects pieces or another battle damaged part, but I can't imagine they toss in anymore figures haha
