Was anyone else able to pick up the Cobra Island figures online just now?

Mattel's Batmobile for 6in figures (small 6in figures from the 66 line) is 17.5in long... so 16in long for Hasbro's small 6in GB "could" work... I'm sure there will be more info on it soon. I'll be waiting for an GB1 or 2 version anyways

Yup, the GB figures are massively pegwarming at Target and Walmart from what I've seen, and I even ran across some clearanced to $14.99 at one Walmart store a week ago. I passed on all of these figures since I have the old Mattel line and the DST line, but this Ecto-1 (if propertly scaled) will go great with my Mattel figures.

What do you mean "just now"? They sold out over an hour ago within seconds to scalper bots. Did they pop up again briefly?

I thought the same thing as well, but then remembered that the Spengler neutrona wand is also part of the plasma series. So who knows. If those dimensions are accurate, I think this will be ok with the figures.

Yes.. I was refreshing and I saw it back up and again I wasnt able to add it to cart bcs it was saying it was sold out... but I rly meant in general was anyone able to order those two Cobra Island figures besides that one dude?

Well thanks. And I really don’t know how the hell it worked out for me. Believe me. I’m shocked. Every other time I’ve tried to get these damn Target exclusives I’ve had zero luck. So I get the frustration. Honestly, I won’t really believe it until I get that shipping confirmation.

Maybe. The plasma series seems to include collector items like the wand, so an Ecto-1 collectible, that does not scale with the 6” figures is not out of the realm of possibility.

Much like the power rangers lightning collections is just the more adult collector line. I don’t know. Would have been nice for hasbro to show a figure next to it or god forbid inside of it.

Absolutely. It’s such a bone-headed decision to not specify. That’s the only thing giving me a little pause as to whether or not this thing actually scales with the figures. But the dimensions Shabby posted give me hope.

Fuck no! Hasbro is FINALLY serving the fans. And exclusives is all part of the gloriousness of what Hasbro is doing & how they are able to get all the characters & different figures out now days.

No if you watch from the beginning of TODAYS LIVE PANNEL "NOT" the preview PANNEL which is the only one up now anymore (anyone can link me to the live pannel video still, please do so & prove me wrong lol). But it was all new news and new figures left & right with awesome pannels to boot. The Gijoe pannel, the Zoids pannel, TF Kindom pannel, and the TF Earthrise Netflix show pannels were all awesome & really fucking good! When it comes back online watch from the beginning it's all great content with lots of information. ;)

On Target almost immediately. But I got Zartan & Cobra Trooper on bbts in collector packaging. Just like I have all the others so far too. Also Walmart I went for the retro look first because in the pannel they didn't mention they were 3.75" having a very modern look I just pre-ordered & asked questions later lol

You have to be there exactly when it starts all logged in ready. That's how it works (& alot times they put more back up keep looking or else u won't get what you want most likely).

Yeah a few. Got Zartan, Cobra Trooper, (+ Storm Shadow Amazon exclusive). I still need Viper & Firefly & completely missed out on Beachhead & 1st Cobra Trooper earlier.

What about the retro Kenner Ecto-1 from the @ retail 2020 Walmart exclusive line? Anything like that coming I managed to get the 2 ghosts (slimer/stay puft) and all 4 Ghostbusters (+ 3 of the guys have doubles). I NEED the Ecto 1 now :-D

Nope. When they were reportedly going to reveal a new retro Real GB item for Pulse Con, a few people hoped it would be a re-release of the Kenner Ecto-1 to go with the figures, but its just a roleplay item instead. :(

Looks like Ecto-1 is 1:18.

I'm in the same exact position you are. The only Cobra Island figure I was able to pick up was the Roadblock repaint.

Again, 1:18 scale would be 6" tall, not 9" tall.

Exclusives should not be essential mainline characters. They should be versions that are non-essential to collections and should be redecos of existing stuff ala pimp daddy destro. Mainline exclusive characters are just scalperbait and screws over the general public.

Ghostbusternews.com. I'd be more annoyed if it was something I was interested in to begin with, but even so I can appreciate how irritating it is for people who bought into the Plasma Series Ghostbuster figures.

I guess we'll find out when it comes out and someone can actually take comparison photos next to the figures. 9 inches tall is way too tall for a 1:18 version. The Hot Wheels 1:18 vehicle is 6" tall.

And not showing it with figures could just be because it's from the next movie- and they haven't revealed any figures from it yet

Yeah, I think that's an important thing to note. People are assuming it's fine and 1:12 scale cuz it's 9" tall, but that means the box is 9" tall, meaning the car itself is certainly smaller.
