Spike is Skull's son? Who is the mother?

Anyway, I hope Bandai one day makes a Rita that does not look like it came out of a happy meal.

Got a few more of those "old lady" figures (;)), so I've almost got Series 2 finished. Only one K-Mart in my area seems to want to stock them, so it's been a bear tracking down the remaining figures. I'll see if I can find my first post with the other codes and update it all here, for those who are interested.

EDIT: Here are the codes:
A13052WW - Metallic Red Ranger (Common)
A14052WW - Yellow Ranger Training Mode (Rare)
A15052WW - Flying Mooger (Common)
A16052WW - Green Ranger Super Samurai Mode (Rare)
A17052WW - Translucent Red Ranger Mega Mode (Rare)
A18052WW - Bulk (Rare)
A20052WW - Battle-Damaged Gold Ranger (Common)
A21052WW - Translucent Blue Ranger Super Samurai Mode (Ultra Rare)
A22052WW - Blue Ranger Mega Mode (Common)

There is also an unknown mystery figure that I suspect is A19052WW, but I have yet to find it to confirm the number or the figure.

No idea, she's never appeared on the show. In fact, they've never even mentioned her at all.

It would be nice, wouldn't it? Maybe if they do another run at a Classics/Anniversary series.

Odd jobs, apparently. One episode showed that Bulk was having trouble making rent, which prompted Spike to go find a job to help his Uncle Bulk. It was actually one of the funnier episodes, as every job Spike tried out for, something blew up and he got fired.

Hello everyone, we are 10 days away from New York Comic-Con 2012. We will be unveiling the first Power Rangers S.H. Figuarts prototype at the show among the other new products from the other Tamashii lines. There will also be surveys at this con to provide Tamashii Nations with feedback for what to investigate for future Power Rangers merchandise.

redx24 10-01-2012 09:31 PM

we are in dire need of psycho rangers

Talisman 03-16-2013 02:39 PM

So the Lexington ComiCon is going on today and tomorrow, and lo and behold, damn near every one of the original team except for Amy Jo Johnson were present.

It is not every day that you get to meet your childhood hero.

That's pretty awesome. Doubt you'll ever see Amy Jo Johnson at any con that involves Rangers. She has yet to appear at any thus far.

Dr Kain 03-16-2013 10:15 PM

Not to mention she pretty much hates the show.

redx24 03-17-2013 09:13 AM

damn shame about amy jo nver attending. surprised yost showed after coming out how the show's crew treated him for being homosexual. figured he'd hate PR too but guess he's risen above it.

He seemed to be enjoying himself. In fact I got a text from a friend of my brother's last night that she was seated next to him at a showing of Rocky Horror.

redx24 03-17-2013 11:05 AM

kool. lucky.

That's because she wants nothing to do with the series anymore. She is "much better than that."

Maybe she'll come around someday.

All I know is that JDF was tearing it up the whole time. But I think he's earned the right to a little showboating.

trebleshot 03-18-2013 05:54 AM

If the stories are to be believed, JDF has been showboating since he started his run on PR.

Yes, he's come around to the point where he appreciates his fans, even if the period where he was a cast member was a dark time for him, personally.

I remember watching power rangers as a kid and then my son got into them, i enjoyed watching the ones with the white rino power ranger.

nice additude towards the fandom. its not like we forced her to do this show.

itMFtis 08-05-2013 07:33 PM

Any sites out there that lists (and hopefully reviews) the figures from the different lines? I'd like to get a few Rangers but have no idea what the articulation is like on the Bandai stuff both in 4" and 6" scale.

All you need to buy are Figuarts. Nothing else matters.

I'm not a diehard Ranger fan, so really just looking for something on the cheap. Trying to figure out which Bandai-made figures have the best articulation. Do any 4" figs come with waist swivels?

redx24 08-06-2013 09:18 AM

nope just hand elbow knees head thats it and if the fig has shoulder pads no way the arms will go over their heads.

Thanks for that. Now I can focus on finding the right 6" fig.

trebleshot 08-06-2013 11:21 AM

Yeah, 4" figures are pretty low on POA (and it's an especially hard pill to swallow now that the prices at US retail have gone up with no real change to the design of the figures).

I'd have to agree with Dr. Kain. If you want really great PR figures, go with Figuarts. I just recently got my first one (US version of Shinken Red) and he blows my 4" version out of the water.

A great list of accessories (all appropriate for his character), enough joints to mimic any pose he did in the show and a much more show accurate look (no Roid Rangers here). Only real downside is the price, but totally worth the cost if you can afford it. I hope I can eventually pick up all of the Shinkenger releases.

Cheap is not going to get you anything quality wise, then. Honestly, just go for the $43 Green Ranger Figuart on Amazon and see if you like it. If not, you can easily sell it back for what you paid for it. If you like it, there you go.

is there a way to get rid of this guy his post make every conversation i ever had with myself seem normal.

trebleshot 08-07-2013 06:13 AM

It's a spambot. Don't reply to them. Just report them using the Report-A-Post button (that red & white yield symbol below their avatar) and we'll take care of it.
