Walmart Gigantic Battles. I saw them all at the same Walmart at the same time, but didn't collect MU at the time.

M3T4L V1KING 12-30-2011 05:25 PM

Let's see... For ML I can't believe I didn't buy Sasquatch and Maestro MOC for $10 each, and for DCUC I can't believe I didn't buy All-Star Batman, Nightwing, and Wonder Woman MOC for $10 each.

I ended up only buying one of them out of the 7 or 8 that they had.. now you can go on ebay and see them being sold for 75 dollars..

ouch

the exact same thing here, i remember thinking" Vision huh, who the fucks gonna want that"

Me,now, thats who

Yup I was like you 2. Only collected X-Force characters...than this past summer my MU collection blew up:P I remember seeing Blade and Vision at the time and never thought in a million years that those figures would go for so much now!!! Sigh.

It's more of a case where I wish I DID pass on a figure and ended up finding it cheaper later. It's the instilled craze "sky is falling" mentality. I wish I had omega's unwavering patience but sometimes, you get 2 or 3 people who start shouting that the world is about to end, get your yadda-yadda figure while you can and you almost get scared into it. :p

Heck that just happened to me this past weekend and today too! Picked up a comic pack and Iron Patriot, and realize yes I could have gotten it cheaper online. Oh well...

bmorr 12-30-2011 05:56 PM

i just bought a loose blade for 15 bucks so that helps on my part seeing as how I skipped on it the first time as well.

Jason Abbadon 12-30-2011 06:08 PM

Ha! i passed on a loose Blade (no weapons) for $5!
He looks like ass so I've got no regrets save for not hooking up fellow Arkers on that one.

quipp209 12-30-2011 08:38 PM

I passed on colored vision it was actually a peg warmer at my local Target when that wave first came out n I wasn't collecting at that time so now I'm only missing him n blade if I had those two I would have a complete MU collection

Peteparker 12-30-2011 09:13 PM

Everyone skipping Vision and Blade when they originally came out is exactly why they're worth so much now. No one bought them, no one kept them MOC, so now they're rare.

Be forewarned, Skin Absorbing Man and nekid Namor are going to be big sellers one day, lol.

Tiberius 12-30-2011 09:14 PM

I regret passing up on the variant Galactus. Oh wait, I ended up getting him =3.

We dont say "colored" anymore- it's "Android American".

Spacemafia 12-31-2011 08:27 AM

why what? Why did i skip it on buying it? Early on in the line i didnt know squat about these figures on top of not being much of a collector. I was just buying transformers at the time. I saw these figs on the shelf and said what the hey and picked up ultimate cap, then hawkeye CP, then daredevil....and here i am today with a shelf of 150+ figs( i think). The main reason was i didnt know these things were gonna be collectible. If i could go back in time and spurge on the earlier figs? You bet your ass I would. And thats why I paid 15 bucks for a loose Blade. Sums it up pretty nicely.

miketime 12-31-2011 09:35 AM

I passed on the new Star Wars At At Walker when it was on sale for $50 and I'm still kicking my self for it months later. It was gone by the next week.

bmorr 12-31-2011 10:36 AM

I pass on that thing all the only because my walker from the ninties is still near perfectly intact.

I have a 70's and 90's Walker. This new one is a beast. I don't know what I would do with it but I seem to still want it.

bmorr 12-31-2011 10:51 AM

If your gonna drop that cash id put it towards the reengineered x-wing/tie fighter set.

atilla 08-30-2012 01:08 PM

deadfish 08-30-2012 01:57 PM

some guys Super Powers collection for $15..... oh shoulda pulled the trigger on that one

Dark Hayabusa 08-30-2012 02:51 PM

The 12" Sagat figure (I think) sota made. Saw it at a convention for £30...fool

ashketch 08-30-2012 02:58 PM

I think this is why most people become completeists now. I know some don't like the feeling leaving one character out in hopes that fig will one day become a grail and you dont have to search for it.
