I have yet to see any Cap figures in Upsate NY. I just saw Green Lantern figs at TRU.

jimster2010 05-14-2011 05:18 PM

My God, 2 Targets in my area and neither one of them broke the street date. I thought for sure they would. Green Lantern came out a couple weeks early in my area so what the Hell. I guess I'll wait until Monday I just want a WW II Cap.

Originally he was a big pass for me, but what a turn around seeing him in person makes.

I hate to be a bit of a repeater, but can we at least have some photographic evidence of these Wave 2 finds?

I saw the wave 1 basic and deluxe figures at Target in Victor, NY, and wave 1 basic and motorized motorcycle/4X4 at TRU in Henrietta.

Neither are worth the 90ish mile drive it'd take you to gt them, though.

They officially release on Monday (along with Cars 2, and TF3).
Walmart and Target have resets this Sunday/Monday to work them in.
:)

I picked up Wave 1 from a Target about 2 weeks ago, and just ordered all of Wave 2(except Red Skull) from Kmart.com for instore pickup.

Saint Phe 05-14-2011 07:05 PM

I'm not at home...I'll try to get some pics up in the morning.

Recipe? I've been thinking I wanna create a Ultimate Thor. Yours looks badass and I'd like to attempt it.

Looks like an uncaped thor figure with..?

Saint Phe 05-14-2011 09:31 PM

Thanks! It's actually Hawkeye torso and arms, MU Cap legs, and movie Thor head. All I had to sculpt were the disks and belt.

LXL_Guy 05-15-2011 02:23 AM

At some point, someone with MU Bucky Cap, should compare that one with this line's Bucky Cap. Want to see if superior/inferior like the comparison that was done with Winter Soldier by someone else the other day.

Saint Phe 05-15-2011 05:58 AM

Sorry. Don't have MU Bucky Cap. I never saw that wave of Gigantic Battles in stores.

Oh, and another figure I passed on yesterday was Winter Soldier.

afgoosett 05-15-2011 06:16 AM

Hey guys what time do you think I should get to walmart to beat those bitchass scalpers? I'm fairly new to the toy game and really only collect MU but I have got to get a Bucky Cap for the Avengers display I'm working on. So if you guys would be so kind to tell me when wal-mart starts to stock their new toys.

It's going to differ by store. Some may put theirs up today or tonight, and some will wait until tomorrow. I would go tonight AND tomorrow morning, just to be sure.

MasterSock 05-15-2011 06:23 AM

Well the early bird catches the worm. So I'll say opening?

Most Wallyworlds are open 24 hours that means they start unloading their trucks and bring out stock from the back between 12:00 a.m. - 1:30 am. Usually they don't allow pallet diving so I would get there between 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 A.M.

Redlantern161 05-15-2011 09:07 AM

Well I'll have to wait cause the local target & the second closest TRU are my next targets for searching for the figures so some POS scalpers don't get em

Optimus Vader 05-15-2011 09:17 AM

I didn't realize that WW2 Cap was the same as the SDCC version. That's awesome.

They probably shifted the pegs but hadn't put any product out yet. But they've probably got plenty in the back. Definitely so with the DotM stuff.

Maybe. I didn't care enough to ask.. everyone is going to be swimming in both of these lines in no time. No rush here. I think they had stock out though,.. not sure why they'd put DoTM stuff out and not Cap. There were a few DoTM Voyagers, Deluxes, and those kid bumper car toys, still there.

LXL_Guy 05-15-2011 11:23 AM

Only rush is if you want Red Skull and Crossbone since only 1 of each per case in terms of wave 2.

And I SO want those two for my villians collection!

You know, you'd think there is a shortage of villians in the MU ;ine, as we only get one or two per wave, but when youo put them all together on a shelf...it's an impressive mob of badasserey!

That's what I wondered too since a lot of the DotM stuff is out & it's even almost sold out till i hid Optimus & Megatron in a special spot at the local TRU but that's a bunch of crap that they don't have them yet 'cause I wanted to snag Bucky Cap & Crossbones when I can.

Badrumble 05-15-2011 12:09 PM

passing up this line..as echoed by many, got my MU blinders on.
