They all had Imperiex legs, so no All-Stars. Crazy. They might as well put them in the girls/dolls aisle & price 'em at $3 each.

I wish Beast Boy was this plentiful.

miketime 06-19-2012 02:29 PM

Ah man that pic of all the Power Girls is awesome. The only places I can even get DC figs now are Bennies, K-Mart, and Target. Walmart stopped putting them out well before the Bane wave.

and don't bother asking 6 months from now if they will drop the price when all of them are still sitting there because the suck and therefore won't

I tried at a local walmart that had a couple on hand and even though the had a few other nondesirable figures marked lower they wouldn't match it so I left and called corporate. I did that mainly because of the attitude I received when asking.

SpycrabKiller 06-22-2012 10:19 PM

I went to my local Wal-Mart. They only had a few Wave 18's.

It's a shame, really. The line has so much potential, yet they miss a lot of the essential characters.

Not really, not many. I think Wally West's Flash is about the only essential character that got snubbed.
Beyond him, just about every absolute a-list character has gotten made. The rest, "essential" becomes a matter of personal preference and personal opinion.

yeah what better way to crap all over his legacy as flash than to snub him and then make tons of barry allens

All my local area TJ Maxx & Marshall's stores have been getting DCYJ 6-inch figures.

Good news is they have just about everybody: Supes, Sportsmaster, Red Arrow, Aqualad, & Artemis (I didn't see any Robins).

Bad news is they are $14.99 each.

Tiberius 06-25-2012 02:04 PM

LAME. Must wait for clearance. Sports Master looks so flipping awesome. I really like all the figures from what I have seen, but I just can't get past their cartoon head sculpts.

Question: How are the head/neck joints on them? Are they easy enough to swap? I wouldn't hesitate to buy new molds for them.

They are the same ball & socket, but some heads are a bit undersized compared to regular DCUC. If you are doing more than head swaps, keep in mind that their wrists & limbs and smaller than the typical DCUC bucks too so they may not be a perfect match.

Tiberius 06-25-2012 02:10 PM

That is more than fine. They are teenagers yes? So They aren't fully developed yet for the most part. Now with the same ball and socket answer though, is the ball joint on the neck, or on the head. I ripped off Black suit supermans head and the ball joint was on THE HEAD. Made me sad :(.

The neck pegs are double-ended bulbs. It is risky to attempt a headswap without warming the rubber with a hair dryer. Without some warm-up, the peg can snap in the middle, or you can end up pulling the ball out of the neck/torso.

As long as the neck ball is still on your Supes, you should be able to repair the Torso with the Gorilla glue. Heat the head, pull the peg with plyers, then insert in Supes' torso, then spread the neck with some needle nose and apply some glue. Next time it shouldn't pop out so easy when you pull on it, so long as you apply heat to the head first.

Hope this helps!

all of those power girls...what a shame....there needs to be a better system in place for distribution and development of toys, too late with DCUC, but this goes across the board. That photo looks like something I'd expect at a Five and Below....I'd probably pay $5 for another powergirl for custom fodder

Tiberius 06-25-2012 02:24 PM

I tried the hot water trick and it failed. Oh well. He was an extra so it's no big deal =3.

Just got back from my local TJ Maxx. They have all Young Justice 6-inch figures clearance priced at $7. They were originally $14.99. I have seen Red Arrow, Artemis, Aqualad, and Sportsmaster in the past, but never Robin or Superboy.

If you are still in need, you might want to go check it out! :)

hrothgars 09-07-2012 02:45 PM

I checked a second area TJ Maxx store & their DCYJ 6-inch figs were only $5 on clearance. I grabbed an extra Aqualad.

Tiberius 09-07-2012 02:46 PM

Winners has a Raven on clearance for 4 smackers

lanternjv37 09-07-2012 02:47 PM

man i gotta visit a tj maxx!!

snake5289 09-07-2012 07:04 PM

Anybody have any thoughts about when the Batman Legacy Prototype Suit Bruce/Gordon two-pack might show up at a TJ Maxx or something? I was always on the verge of picking one up for the Gordon and the Bruce head for my Movie Masters Batman but never wanted to shell out the $30+ dollars.

I'm a day late but if you can score Artemis, please keep me in mind!

Don't know if it will or not, but I have a Walmart in town that had 2 sets on clearance last time I was there. They are still $21 though. If they go cheaper, I may pick them up.

hrothgars 09-13-2012 01:12 PM

All DC figs & play sets are BOGO 50% off at TRU through 09/15.

I didn't see any adverts near the copious amounts of DKR merchandise, but there were lots of signs by the remaining Young Justice (Aqualad) & DCUC 2-packs (Mightiest Mortals).

Good luck finding one thing you want to buy, let alone two things. :p

It seems that TrU has the DCU plus the YJ figures at buy one and get the second 50% off. I'm pretty sure that this does not include the new batman figures. From what I saw they have DCU: Omac and Mary Watson fromthe YJ: 6": Artemis, Robin, and Aqualad, I didn't check the 2 packs (sorry).
