My BAF Bane arrived today. He is not as big as I thought he would be. So I wonder which should be in my Batman Collection.

Yeah, that's definately one thing that annoys me about Bane. Artists and writers consistantly forget he is only human after all. I'll accept suspension of disbelief for his bulked up "on venom" mode. But without it, he's a big dude, but he's still within realistic proportions.
It doesn't bother me when characters like Doomsday, Hulk, and Juggernaut eventually become larger than life. But Bane is different. I like the C&C figure... it's too large, but it's within acceptible boundaries to me. He's either going to be the size of Batman or Superman, or he's going to be too big. Those are sadly the only too choices Mattel has to offer. But at least they kept him on the smaller end of the BaF. |

Other than his goofy split-legged stance, I prefer the DC Superheroes figure. The attached photo shows the scale, but this was the camo pants variant. There is a black pants version, and the figure comes with an Osito teddy bear.

Attached is a picture of the black pants version MOSC w/ Osito. Also attached is a photo of the (awful) camo pants version with DCSH Batman, showing what I would assume is at the most believable/realistic scale of the three for display with a 6' Batman.
Am I the only one that likes the DCSH black pants version better than the DCUC & DCD versions? |
