Okay. Yesterday I bought my first Marvel Megabloks on Impulse. It turned out being Wave 2 Iron Man Mark V.

I love the effects parts, but I don't want to end up with like, 30 of this guy... SO

I made a Spreadsheet from this thread, Spartan Bloks, some Googling, and my own observations.

This spreadsheet is a Google documents Spreadsheet. Just find the code on the package. Check against this simple spreadsheet and you get the name of the character, which wave/box the release you have came from, and what accessories he comes with.

If we start learning anything about the kits in the Egg? I'll work something out for them too. And if this proves popular enough i'll keep one up for Halo.

If you have any codes that aren't covered by the spreadsheet, PM me here and i'll revise the spreadsheet.

Don't worry about it, I don't want you to invest too much time/effort just for the sake of being nice. I just appreciate that you tried, so thank you for being a nice guy.

Solidwii - I am definitely interested.

iLegends73 - Awesome thanks.

Okay I went back to TJ Maxx today because they forgot to take off some security tags off my kids clothes. Anyways I picked up 4 of the spidey 2 in 1 sets for fellow Arkers. I guess I got confused with the price because they are not $10 but rather 14.99. If anyone still wants these send me a pm.

http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/a...loksSpidey.jpg

I just weighed the box by itself and its over 13 oz so I can't send it first class, it will have to be priority.

Anyways to get an idea:

14.99= Mega Blok Spidey Set
1.04= 7% Tax
6.00= Shipping Priority USPS w tracking.
---------------
22.03 = Total Shipped.

By the way, I still have that Silver Surfer and Wolverine, plus most people didn't seem to pick up on the fact that I was willing to give someone a free Mega Bloks figure (since another Arker offered to do the same for me previously and it was around X-Mas). Weird. I know these little dudes aren't worth much, but I'm enjoying collecting them right now, so let me know if anyone has something cool to trade (THE FREE ONE HAS PASSED) .

Thanks to Solidwii, I finally got my hands on Doc Oc. He is really impressive for this scale, and I would recommend picking up the little set he comes in. He was worth every penny (and that is coming from someone who doesn't have a lot of cash to spare).

Go to the LEGO thread to see more pictures of the set I put together with the different little sets and some extra LEGOs.

Awesome collection. I realize that stores are basically turning their backs on them, but Mega Bloks made some really cool stuff, and the figures (sorry LEGO) look great. I saw the Stark Expo set in the wild today and couldn't pull the trigger because I needed the $20 it would've cost me for food and gas (I know, that sucks, but its reality). I'll try to pick it up down the road, but so far, I really like what I've been able to gather up from the Mega Bloks Marvel collection.

iLegends73 12-30-2011 12:20 AM

yea i been really stuck on these lately. i was able to grab that stark expo for $10 bucks cause the box was trashed luckily all the parts were in it. that doc ock look nice too. is sandman the same as the blind pack?

The blind pack version of Sandman is awesome, but the set version is complete shit. I really don't like it, but I haven't found the blind pack one yet so at least I have the character in some form. That said, I bet its worth more because it will eventually be harder to find, but damnit it looks like shit. It is sculpted poorly, and there is a really lame lever on his back to lift his shifting "sand" fist, but it doesn't work with a figure this small.

iLegends73 12-30-2011 12:45 AM

well the gud thing about getting the sets are sometimes u get an extra gem. like doc ock in the spidey set and i've got 2 whiplashes with brown pants instead on orange ones.

Hey man, a little tip to another dude that appreciates this line, don't buy the Spiderman/Green Goblin set on eBay.

This guy is selling them for $58+ (holy shit!)
Mega Bloks - The Amazing Spider-Man Marvel Street Series: Green Goblin | eBay

Don't pay more than $10-15 for it. Seriously.

Shawn Woodbeck 12-30-2011 11:08 AM

Hey DFD where did you get the battle dmged War Machine?

I got it online, but I'm pretty sure it came with one of the Iron Man sets as a "Target Exclusive".
