What are some good gear to try to get? Been using the same stuff for awhile and want to change. Golden screaming eagle, roar of the north, Phoenix pinion, sinflayer. I haven't been fortunate to get a lot of the spec ops weapons or gear. Just getting old using the same stuff. Would like a good multi target weapon. Or some good gadgets

I just got home after being gone all weekend and checked PVP scared to death of what I'd find.. and.. +217 RATING! WTF? WHEN DID JESUS START WATCHING OVER MAA PVP ACCOUNTS FOR YOU!? Ha!

I would start weapon farming then, I'm going for the sigil which is a good multi weapon enemy hitter, recently got the magnetic field which is great for defense.

What are using? Let us in on your secret!

SO I finally put in the leg work and got Valkyrie but I didn't manage to get ANY of the weapons along the way so I was wondering if you guys think I should continue farming and going for it or just move on and focus solely on that darn dark sigil

p.s. Like I said I just got Valkyrie so Im training her while trying to get the Dark Sigil ...are Asgardians immune to the stare of the abyss? I ask cuz she got hit with it twice without the debuff applying. This could sway my decision of rather I wanna get Thor or Captain America next

I would continue the spec ops to win the gold bar at 4 stars and 5 cp at 5 stars. Not like those chapters are opening up anytime soon so we need to take advantage of those mission stars.

And yes, Asgardians (Thor/Sif) are immune to Stare Into the Abyss. Thing, Colossus, and I think Luke Cage are also immune. Thing is great for that mission.

Did know that! And yup I second that go for the special ops as much as you can before it's gone. Hopefully they open up 10 soon....

I ran Agent with protect hoarfrost mace and the pvp nail gun combo, Dr Strange, and Ghost Rider. Nothing special, but it was crazy to see it jump me up that much.

But today I think my game is bugged or I'm being screwed over because I have attacked 6 times now and gotten the EXACT same opponent every single time.. and his stats are insane. Every character at level 12 and full gold bought armory items.. and no matter what I do he takes 0 damage and kills me all in 1 hit.. his stats and name is below attached as pic..

I'm having a similar situation with a guy (different than yours) where I'm facing him a lot, sometimes back to back. He's running tactician grey costume Black Widow and Quicksilver. Quicksilver is nasty, but Widow is essentially a non-threat, even with her countering. He's tough, but beatable. Hopefully he doesn't swap out Widow for someone better :D

In other news, got Valkyrie today. No gold spent. She is "interesting", but still the worst of the spec ops characters. Probably has a lot to do with being a Bruiser.

Although I had that same problem, looks like I defended twice against the same person won, and when I fought was the same person and lost.

People are laying off PvP until the last day or 2 of the tourny. I don't want to go through this Deadpool debacle again so I'm going to actually try to win Psylocke outright. Still refusing to buy Deadpool until prices are the same across the board.

Same on getting Psylocke, and has anyone fought against someone who has almost double the health of what you have? Freaking crazy, the person has 17K!

Yea I've run into a few opponents with 20k health and change.

Don't have a 5th yet but I'm sure I'm sure I'll have one soon in this pvp tourney. The biggest problem I have also is that your counter moves doesn't work as well when fighting against the computer. Which is totally lame!

Actually I have little to no problem with GR or QS maybe cuz I don't use an infiltrator or maybe becaus I use Emma and all GR or QS do is attack so psychic tap is pretty easy to hit.

Emma is easy to bypass, just pull a defense move or recharge yourself to get rid of Mental, but ya QS and GR are easy as long as you can survive they're onslaught even when using a non infiltrator suite.

My top five most hated:

1. Scarlet Witch
2. Quicksilver
3. Ghost Rider (mostly for Infernal Contract)
4. Hercules
5. Dr. Strange (modern costume only)

Honorable mention to Mockingbird. I don't fight her often enough to put her on the list, especially now that I'm not really participating in the tourneys anymore. Well, I am trying to get the new weapon, but there's no way I'm even going to bother with Betsy. If I want her badly enough, I'll save up gold/CP and buy her later. It's what I'm eventually going to do with Deadpool.

Just MB and Modern Strange for me. I don't find Modern Strange to be particularly annoying, it's just that he's bugged when both players run Strange, and I certainly do. Basically whenever Power of Principalities is used, it takes the PoP off the other Strange as well.

Even with the multiple turn reduction on MB, I still find she hits like a mac truck.

Doing good in PvP. Just checked to see where I am an 970 with only one attack. I bought the Scroll and since then my PvP has gone up. The funny thing is I don't even play it just check once and a while.

You do still have to play to get ranked for the items, just in case you didn't know.

Had a couple PvP firsts for me today. For the first time, Ghost Rider's Infernal Contract move proc'd 4 times in a row. Never seen something like that and only read horror stories about it. Luckily I saved him for last and he went down on the 5th killshot.

The other first, and far more annoying one, is I got the browser refresh message the exact moment I clicked "Tournament Fight" and it counted as a LOSS. I didn't even get to see the damn opponent and it still counted it as a loss. Bullshit.
