Looking at the hot toys figures which I assume are in scale, he’s almost as tall as Thor. But I don’t think Quill was that much shorter than Thor was he?

He is a bit shorter, at least on the previous figuarts releases.

Yes, that pic is from the comic con event prior to this one. It appears to have no modifications. he looks great.

The only change seems to be that they made his coat less shiny

I saw that but I thought it was the low resolution photo. Cool! Hope he gets a release date soon. So far only MK-22 Hot Rod and Ms Marvel have release dates out of all the new showings.
