Mole man is a great fig- perfect comics likeness...but not really a great character.
Punisher is pretty weak- his ams pop right off and he's really scrawny.
Never seen Reed so I cant comment, but Johnny is awful- those flame things just look awful.

How is that Colussus compared with the MU version? Bigger?

Whatever you do- STAY AWAY FROM THE HORROR OF SHOWDOWN SUE STORM!
Really- you dont want that nightmare in plastic in your home.

Colossus is really cool, actually. so much so he might end up being my default. He's around the same size as MU Colossus, only w more articulation and better paint.

http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/6523/shscolossus.jpg

Reed is not bad. I'll let me kids play with him to stay clear of my MU Reed, along w that craptastic Torch!! haha. man that is a horrible fig, just like Sue.

Mole Man is excellent scale! smallest little fella ever. fits in well w MU.

mikefavata 02-04-2012 11:06 PM

Picked up a Showdown Thing for my Heroic Age New Avengers since I am now using the FF Team Pack Thing for well... the Fantastic 4.

mikefavata 02-04-2012 11:07 PM

It's a pretty cool figure. One of his feet is kind've floppy/loose but other than that I like him more than the MU.

Jason Abbadon 02-04-2012 11:12 PM

Yeah- that Thing looks pretty great..but the real winner in the Showdown line is Thor!
I traded for a Thor with a fellow Arker, thinking I would customize him into a Beta Ray Bill (before that fig got announced).
To my delight, that Thor is spectacular! He looks perfect in my Avengers lineup! Much bigger than MU Thor, as he should be! Thor's a tank!

Showdown Thor is next on my hit list.

Took me a while to get Doc Ock... but patience pays off... and saves a few bucks.

So very true. By the way, why have I not seen a picture of Black Panther assassinating Klaw yet?

dude, i dont have Klaw!! he's on my wants list.

Jason Abbadon 02-05-2012 12:57 AM

Plus, Klaw is made of sound- Doom once sliced him up like salami into thin lenses to steal Galactus' power, leaving only his head, and not only did that did not kill him- it did not even shut him up!

Klaw just dont go down!

A great figure too- MU has made some superb, perfect-likeness figures- figures that I never thought anyone would make- like Klaw!

D00MTR0N 02-05-2012 08:21 AM

finally saw the DD/BE cp at target, laughed at the price and walked away.

I bought the black costume Spider-man AGEEEEEES ago, talk about disappointment, the left knee joint was really distorted,so badly he cant stand and the whole lower leg veers off to one side, and his limbs JUST wont stay on,you only have to pick him up,and an arm or leg (or both) fall off,hes truly the worst figure i have ever bought,it really gutted me because it wa long before MU and i was soooooooo damn stoked at getting a Joe-scale Spidey to hang out drinking beer with my other figures in their post-apocalyptic Warthog APC!!!

bmorr 02-05-2012 12:57 PM

ok, so i was messing with my avengers display and just now i realized how out of place commander rogers is. The outfit is already outdated lol. He wore it for barely year right? He doesnt even wear it in secret avengers anymore( three members exist in MU).

Good news for legends collectors tho. Isnt the whole team available in the 6 inch scale?
Rogers(Brand New)
War Machine
Valcyrie
Widow
Beast
Moon Knight
optional is shang chi and nova
then theres sharon but shes in that "never gonna be made in plastic" category.

Are you talking about the 2 pack? In my opinion I think it's horrible. I bought the pack and that is one of the few packs I did not open to display. Hopefully next year the Klaw will be better.

MarvelTF918 02-05-2012 05:39 PM

Well I just watched the Avengers spot.
I think it'll be hard to resist buying Hawkeye.
He looked awesome and he didn't even do anything.
I might do a new Avengers pic to honor the Super Bowl trailer.

I thought there was a TRU 2 pack that had female SHIELD agent with two heads, one Sharon the other Maria Hill

I still hate the lack of Wasp and Ant Man as well as the casting for Hawkeye and Black Widow

bmorr 02-05-2012 06:38 PM

i would have been find with hawkeye if he wore a mask, or have some semblance of his original outfit.

Veronica Mars 02-05-2012 06:41 PM

I'd have been fine with Hawkeye if he'd been Scott Caan or Paul Walker or someone who looked like Hawkeye.

NoodleChow 02-05-2012 06:49 PM

ah i guess hawkeye could be a pretty boy. but i dig renner and i buy him as a hotshot shield type who happened to also be really effing good with bows and can stand toe to toe with the other super powered heroes.

Veronica Mars 02-05-2012 06:53 PM

he looks too old

That trailer kicks crazy ass! The scene with Tony facing down Loki over a scotch sells it for me- so ballsy!
