Do I see an Angela in there? She could work as a placeholder until Hasbro makes a newer ML one, if you're so inclined.

Anyone buy that Amazon MCU 4-pack?

Does the Hawkeye's legs hold up olay? I read in the Youtube comment section that his leg snaps off. Watched a few videos and only one person said that.

Anyone have one? Just want to know if there's any truth behind it. Thanks for any help guys.

I have it. My daughter plays with Hawkeye and Black Widow often and nothing has broken so far.

AvengingArcher 05-19-2016 01:25 AM

I've got both the 4 pack version of Hawkeye, and the original Avengers version from 2012 on the same mold. I've never had any quality issues with either one, and I've posed the heck out of them.

It's reprobates like this that pollute the collective psyche of societies worldwide. Hyperbolic statement? Maybe, but I'm a firm believer that what we do in small moments like this one, informs how we behave in the larger context.

LMFAO...'whut makes you think I didn't have similar pursuits in college?...FYI: brainy women are more exciting in ALL aspects! ;) Regarding my preferred choices in words...I was a poli sci major at a private liberal arts college in the north east. Communication is pretty important to me. Is this (the Ark) the best or most appropriate place to bust out my scrabble-words? No, but if you don't use 'em you'll lose 'em...as the saying goes.

I made these in like 93' (Jean Grey and Die Hard)
I was even sculptin' way back then...i made all those Extra parts on DieHard that Liefeld used to draw just for the shit of it..

These looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing them! That Jean from Storm was an awesome idea.

Also, Mattel is teasing their SDCC exclusives, I expect Hasbro to start revealing their stuff soon.

I actually have two, one I pre-ordered because I wanted the set, then a second set at a later date (for customs/options).

Both of my Hawkeyes are very solid figures. In fact, both are much better then the King Thor wave Hawkeye who seems to have all sorts of issues; he doesn't seem to like to hold his bow, his quiver likes to fall off, and his hips are loose so he can do a little hula hoop dance without moving the joints with how loose his hips are.

Captain Nash 05-19-2016 07:44 AM

Well I see Mattel SDCC exclusives have been revealed, hoping that means Hasbro won't be too far behind.....

They haven't been revealed just yet. The Monster High exclusives have, and the Ever After High exclusive got leaked, but the rest are waiting to be revealed.

But I'm with you, I'm seriously hoping Hasbro's up next.

SymbiSpidey 05-19-2016 09:49 AM

Hasbro should just give us a box set of Multiple Man...and nothing else.

(I'm joking.)

I have bought 7 packs over the last few months. Kept one each of Banner and Hawkeye and send the rest of the figures to a friend in Malaysia so he could disseminate them to local collectors (I currently have 2&1/2 packs for him sitting at my house). I have had approx. 25% of all the figures have major problems. However, Hawkeye's leg snapping off was never one of them. YMMV.

1. The problem is so much larger than this that it makes this pretty much insignificant. Every single non-Vegan in our society, who make up over 95% of society as a whole, is intentionally inflicting massive unnecessary suffering and death on thousands of animals over the course of their lifetime. Which means that adds up to trillions of animals per year, collectively. THIS is why people in our society behave the way we do, not because of action figures in an auction. The auction is a symptom of the problem, not the cause.

2. That guy did not swap figures and then claim he's selling an untouched 5-pack. He clearly states in his description what's been replaced.

I love that you stay on message...however, re-read "small moments" as it relates to the larger picture issues that you raise... #PreachingToTheChoir

Not quite. It's listed as the EU set in the title, not the 'box' of the EU set. The added detail you mention is indeed in the description section, but that functions more as a disclaimer with an eye toward eBay mediation should the sale go awry (IMO). If that weren't the intention, then I guess the fact that the auction's initial bid is exactly the same price as the going rate for the EU exclusive (coupled with the title) is just a 'co-ink-e-dink'...which it isn't. Maybe I'm more cynical than you are, but this scenario smacks of a deliberate attempt to hoodwink uninformed or novice collectors who often don't read descriptions.

Maybe, you're the seller? ;)

Byrnes 05-19-2016 12:20 PM

Update to the customs. I may change that Black Cat head/hair out at some point and give her proper face mask thing. I tired spray paint for the first time. I think I need to prime the body first. paint ran on that slick ML body. I've got a Enchantress I painted Green that has come out really well so far. Pics coming soon on her.

All of these customs are great, but I love that Firestar! ...even if she was Marvel's Harley Quinn before Harley Quinn...the whole 'toon retconned into comics sitch...

Gimme that fig, man! I'll be you're best friend! Although, and this is not a criticism, Cat's mold is a little voluptuous for Angelica...but I think it was more than clever to use the fur as flame effects. Kudos!

Captain Nash 05-19-2016 12:43 PM

OMG Byrnes at the Firestar! *Faints* I mean they're all good but that by far is my favorite. Agree with TBM, using that fur as flame effects was a killer idea.

PS I still need to do my Hellcat/Mockingbird mash Firestar but I think I love this idea even better.....

Thanks. I had one of those $8 bootleg's of Cat sitting around so I figured I'd put her to use.

1. There are no smaller moments than what non-Vegans do every minute of every day which cause suffering and death for nonhuman animals. Selling that pack is completely insignificant whatsoever compared to those actions, and the "size" of it has nothing to do with that.

2. If I'm preaching to the choir, I assume you're Vegan?

3. No one is supposed to bid on auctions without thoroughly reading the description, so your argument is invalid.

squeezeplay 05-19-2016 01:27 PM

Does anyone have one or more of the Ares wave Spider-Man web-shooters to trade? I need one or more (preferably 3) and can pull from quite a lot of items for them.

Trade link here:
