I agree about Nic Cage, he doesn't act, his eyebrows do

Well that just a matter of opinion...Because "Leaving Las Vegas" was one of Nic Cages best movies...

Also great in:

Windtalkers
Family Man
Face Off
Kick Ass
World trade Center
Bringing out the Dead

And Scarlett Johanson is waaaaay Better and waaay better looking, then that toothpick Megan Fox...

I respectfully disagree about the Nicolas Cage comment, case in point:

Nicolas Cage going crazy – Cool montage | Live for Films

He is truly the greatest living actor of our generation... ;P

I don't appreciate how crappy and expensive these things are:

http://s2.i1.picplzthumbs.com/upload...1db79_wmeg.jpg

Though I did pick up an extra set if someone else wants to pay TRU retail for them.

These guys randomly showed up today too. I have no idea where they've been hiding for the past month or two...

Scarlett Johansen CAN act. She has a closet full of Golden Globes, and even a Tony award for best actress. As with most action movies, she may choose not to act but just react to her environment or what the director tells her. I can't complain too much about IM2 - she was barely in the movie at all, and her best scenes were more a stunt woman than the actress herself.

Nic Cage is a tremendous actor who can't pick a movie worth a flip. This was a guy who begged to be Superman - and almost got the role! That would have been far worse than Michael Keaton! You have to appreciate that the likes comic books ... but he just doesn't have the visage of really any comic book heroes. (Maybe Tony Harris' Starman?)

Reed is not bad. I'll let me kids play with him to stay clear of my MU Reed, along w that craptastic Torch!! haha. man that is a horrible fig, just like Sue.

Mole Man is excellent scale! smallest little fella ever. fits in well w MU.

Agreed

Not sure if this was said yet but the Showdown Daredevil is probably the best body sculpt of the line. Cyclops sucks, and I wish they would have used parts from the Daredevil for him.

They already released that cap in the cap line! I bought one and played with it for about five minutes, it was pretty fun. But thats a pretty shit move repackaging and re releasing it.................now before I get a bunch of comments i realize the cap looks slightly different. but same concept and same toy basicaly. LAME

It looks like they're repacking quite a few Cap line figures in this line. It's hard to tell, but maybe some of the IM2 figs and Thor movie figs as well. Tough to say just going by the BBTS and TRU.com images I've seen so far, but they the same to me.

bmorr 02-06-2012 07:48 AM

at least i get to save my money by not buying any of them. disappointing all around.

You forgot to mention The Vampire's Kiss.

Optimus Vader 02-06-2012 07:59 AM

Gone in 60 Seconds is a brilliant film as well.

I'm actually glad also the Avengers line is not that great....

All I'm getting is

Hawkeye
Widow??
Cap
Mark VII
Ultimate Hawkeye
A couple of ult Thor
Loki

Quinjet??

Optimus Vader 02-06-2012 08:20 AM

So far all they've got me for is a movie Hawkeye and Loki figure. I probably would be in for their Hulk too if MU didn't have a nice looking updated version on the way.

I might grab the hellcarrier if its not more then 100$..Cus it will look badass with a cool ass fight scene on deck...

fosterlager 02-06-2012 08:38 AM

I'm VERY excited for the unmasked Cap, and the movie style Hulk is intriguing. Most of the others have been sorted in my collection by earlier movie lines.

Of course this will all change after I get sugar shock from Toyfair coverage this weekend. :)

Good news for legends collectors tho. Isnt the whole team available in the 6 inch scale?
Rogers(Brand New)
War Machine
Valcyrie
Widow
Beast
Moon Knight
optional is shang chi and nova

Agreed, I totally just realize by reading your comment she had no accent whatsoever...such a shame.

They've fixed those god awful hip joints?! THANK-YOU!! :D Okay that's a +1

Such a shame about the Torso, wrist and ankle articulation... Thanks for the review, really helpful.

I watched it muted on my iPhone while sitting in a meeting, so I can't really give review feedback, but visually you covered everything and this figure remains on my short Avengers toy list. Thanks for sharing.

And to update my earlier list of just movie Hawkeye and Loki, I'll probably want a Black Widow too. Assuming it's no less shitty than the MU Black Widow I have. If it looks like Scarlett, I'm buying it.

Venom711 02-06-2012 10:54 AM

thanks guys glad you liked it i am working on the comic series ultimates thor right now! =]

Tiberius 02-06-2012 11:01 AM

Get it done in the next 10 minutes and I will go to work happy haha.

Venom711 02-06-2012 11:05 AM

lol i would but there is someone nextdoor doing landscaping and its really loud so you would not be able to hear anything but that! i will have it up by this afternoon though! i have all of the movie series and the 1 comic series from wave one! do you guys want to see them all??

Tiberius 02-06-2012 11:12 AM

Ultimate Thor and Hawkeye are the must sees for me. Along with Hulk and Cap.
