Isn't that thing amazing!!! Pictures don't do that figure justice and i still can't believe that was a BAF...and right, THAT BAF compared to Ultron BAF is like comparing night and day.

I just sold mine so I don't have any pics but I have placed her head on different bodies before. The hole for the ball joint is shallower on Hope's head than most figures so the head ends up sitting higher on the neck and looks unnatural.

NOTED. Thanks.

As for his accessories (since we're always looking for help with weapons since Hasbro doesn't provide a great many of them...)

Blade's MP7: Casting Cave
Sword: slightly modified Sephiroth sword from the 1997 Final Fantasy PVC figurine line.
Silver Whip: Marvel Legends Black Cat,
Glaive (ToyBiz Blade Movie figure)
Glaive 2 (not shown): DC Superheroes Batarang (from Knight Shadow Batman)

That's pretty sweet Triv...I'd like to throw one of those together..
Is that head at Casting cave too??

Thanks DTL...The only casting place that I've been able to find the Blade head is off of Clayorrnot Customs. It's listed as Bloodsucker. I've ordered from Clay several times and have never had an issue with him or his service, although you will need to dremel the head cast a little bit to get it to fit on the ball peg.

I really hope Casting Cave gets back in the Mac-11 they had a while back.

This new Blade was a really simple and satisfying custom to put together. I really enjoy it a lot!

Kirathis 05-21-2016 11:17 AM

Awesome customs and WIP photos! Man that Blade came out SWEET! The different shoulders from the Electro figure make all the difference in my opinion. I may just have to copy that for my own Blade at some point. I had actually considered using that same body for a more armored Punisher at some point. Instead I just swiped the leg holster.

Speaking of customs, I really need to get to work on my stuff again once I move. I have a Punisher and a Phyla Vell that have been sitting as WIP forever. As for castings, does anyone have a line on a casting in Legends size of the Figma Solid Snake head? I missed out on the ones at Casting Cave.

I know you mentioned it..but Casting Cave did have them for a while. I've seen some sold on Ebay at times from different sellers in both 3.75" and 6" scale, but it's been a little while since I can last recall seeing one.

I can imagine that being a rough cast to do...since the figure's head is comprised of several different pieces.

What is the best Spidey to get other than McFarlane?

I think the recent Pizza Spidey is probably the next best option, although I've heard good things about Sinister Six and Snapshot Spidey as well.

Like for any costume/design? Pretty much any of the recent Hasbro Legends. 2099, Scarlet Spider, or everybody's favorite Pizza Spidey. Even the upcoming Ultimate Spidey looks alright.

I'd have to go with the Pizza Spidey, the Spider-Man Classics wave 1 Spidey, or the Spider-Man from the first Sam Raimi film. That figure is damn near perfect.

Spyne98 05-22-2016 07:34 PM

Pizza Spidey wins for me too. I have pretty much sold all my other Peter Parker Spider-Men at this point because I enjoy that one so much.

kenm2474 05-22-2016 07:43 PM

I am currently eyeing some Pizza Spideys. I will have one this week. Thanx Guys.

The upcoming Legends Ultimate Spidey might work pretty damn well then for being a little smaller and leaner to have that young appearance sorta like in Civil War. Plus Pizza Spidey isn't the easiest to find anymore so there's an alternative.

Byrnes 05-23-2016 08:08 AM

I still need to clean up some of the paint lines but here's my X-Force Beast.

Augustus_Cole 05-23-2016 01:15 PM

the bodies on the fury figures are REALLY loose(at least every one I've opened is). Like move back and forth on their own loose. No bueno....

http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/n...pswyi2lz19.jpg

Allllllllmost Giant man...one day we'll find T'Challa and you'll be able to walk...one day!!

Byrnes 05-23-2016 01:18 PM

I saw that Giantman wave at Walmart the other day. EXCEPT BP was missing of course.

The one on the ground is like " hold still jethro....i need need that pack of tic tacs in your leg pouch."

Are they loose at the hip areas like every blasted carnage or is it the chest crunch?

Kirathis 05-23-2016 03:37 PM

Haha love the pic DTL. Iron Man holding Giant Man up is hilarious. You definitely have skill at the amusing poses for your figures.

Carnage's hips were loose? My Carnage doesn't have any loose joints, in fact some were a little tight out of the box and nothing has gotten loose with time.

donmeca2020 05-23-2016 09:06 PM

you guys are getting me all jealous with your new cap wave finds in stores..... i've checked my regular wal mart and still nothing new YET.

squeezeplay 05-23-2016 09:46 PM

I joined a Facebook ML trading community I'd never joined before recently and as soon as I posted I got the same kind of crap I got from the older communities. If you don't give people what they want immediately, they get a serious hate-on for you. Once one person who has been in the group for a while takes that stance against you, you're done. Everyone they have traded with will refuse to cut you an iota of slack.

One guy has offered to buy every ML item on my list as a lot however. Not holding my breath but it will be interesting to see how low he tries to get me to go. eBay prices total at $2200+

Here it is. I get it at hobby lobby.

I've got some customs needing a cote of this. Nothing Marvel related but, does it hold up pretty well? Also, are you able to bend the joints okay without the paint chipping away? I want to put these next to some of my regular figures, I just wanna make sure the paint won't ruin anything they're next to. Thanks for any feedback.

Augustus_Cole 05-24-2016 05:51 AM

First..so I decided i'd like to add Spiral to my collection...and a quick ebay search tells me...DAMN THAT BIH is pricey..
anyone that have it think it's worth it?? I mean i know it would have to be worth it to ME..but i mean..is the way the figure is made/looks worth what i'd have to pay for it??

and..

the ab crunch is okay..i can hold the torso and move it back and forth..and the hip (both legs) swing about a half inch back and forth...the head will move up and down a bit also. Arms aren't "tight"

While I like mine, I can't exactly recommend it. The helmet and certain aspects of the head (mostly the eyes) are poor. The swords are goofy and the articulation is a bit ill-conceived as well. That said, I almost bought two of them. One is a deeper shade of "Carolina-blue"...I'm kinda partial to that color. It's a shame because there are elements of the sculpt that genuinely look good. Something about it reminded me more of Capcom's X-men: Children of the Atom Spiral than the actual comic character. Not sure whether that is a good or bad thing...
