I have to agree. Nice head sculpt, body looks good too. Sucks about articulation, but I haven't gotten into action poses yet.

On another note, these look pretty cool.

Just a heads up guys and gals, the psylocke wave is up on BBTS and pre-orders are finally shipping! I know this wave is old news but im excited cuz i havent seen these at LCS let alone retail.

Veronica Mars 02-09-2012 01:43 PM

Psylocke wave has hit the Sacramento area in Nor-Cal

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...120209_002.jpg

Target also had Patriot and Shadowland DD

Symbiote 02-09-2012 01:59 PM

I got three question:

1) How much is the walmart ultimate gift set at retail? I've never seen it at the walmart out here. I'm iching to get that captain america and I've been scouring the price of him on evilbay.

2) The retro colored sentinel. Is this seen as a variant at retail? I've only seen it on bbts.

3) Have any website put up pre-orders yet for the next mu wave (hulk, beast, beta, kraven, ult spidey)?

$30 if you can still find em. They were $15 after X-mas

retail- nope

3) Have any website put up pre-orders yet for the next mu wave (hulk, beast, beta, kraven, ult spidey)?

nope

sorry for the disappointing answers :)

Thanks for the advice mate, how difficult are those mods to do??? Im not sure im quite good enough to be doing that sort of work?? And what donors would you recommend for the parts?? Iv got two awesome swords from SDS to arm him with, and he's gonna acquire a very nice sidearm (a la AoA Kurt).

Iv got two ideas for conversions so far:

1) a futuristic/apocalyptic/cyber/steam/western version,battered armor,swords/pistols/scavenged trophies/rags/bits+pieces etc,that will fit into the original concept world im building.

Or

2) a member of an X-team based around the concept of a covert government sponsored team who are called in to deal with "outside usual agencies" issues+incidents (kinda Fringe meets X-files meets BPRD meets Millenium).

NoodleChow 02-09-2012 02:35 PM

haha man that's a ridiculous amount of genres mashed together like this steampunk-pirateship-jet-tank my cousin and i were joking about.

i think the easiest thing is to take scarlet spider's thighs if possible. i did a round about but semi direct way of chopping the thighs in half and embedding a peg and drilling the hole. but scarlet spider thighs just needs paint.
the neck maaybe could be a ghostrider type body's neck popped or cut off, chopping the neck of NC then gluing the donor in place. but the head might sit a little loose on the peg.
ankles would be more problematic since it's require cutting the peg disc out of the foot and dremeling the foot down to accept a rocker ankle peg configuration. maybe a lower leg from one of the new body types. or in order to get the thighs and ankles, transplant dr strange legs or anyone with the new body type legs. but still require some dremel work on the feet. only thing is that the new body's legs on the NC body are a little on the beefy side.

hey lord marvel, how is the articulation on that darth maul?

Thanks for the kind words.

I finally got around to replacing the scarf on gambit and molding the cowl on. I think he looks 10 times better.

I appreciate making MU figures better.

Phew thats some work right there!!! i think il leave him be for the time being,i get really nervous when i only have one figure as i dont wanna f**k it up!! As for the genre love, well i love virtually EVER genre from hard sci-fi to steampunk, and i dont like to exclude any possibility!!!
