Man, that is total crap. Space Venom? WTF? Don't give a crap about Silk and whoever the other person is either.

I'll definitely buy Electro and Hobgoblin. Miles and young Parker will depend on whether or not I see them on the pegs and they have good paint jobs.

The MCU Hulk barely fit in the current packaging, so my guess is he won't be taller than that.
I have very high hopes for SDCC regarding reveals!

Also, yessssssssssssss!!!!!!! a second x-wave!!!

I have so very little time to visit this forum, so @Spyne98, glad your surgery had relatively positive results!

@Kenm2474 congrats on finding Spidey!

@DarkToyLord ... the suspense ... what are you building?!?

@TheBlueMarvel Even your wonky old photo's look awesome!

I might be contradicting my previous statements, but the new punk look for Dazzler really appeals to me, so I'm changing my preference from Outback costume to this. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's Dazzler, so I'll buy any costume.

Similar thing with Colossus. I find myself hoping for a more modern look after getting several classic versions, I'd like to move on now, but I will buy whatever Colossus they decide to put out.

Ever since that VonPooten Polaris though ... I'm just so scared I'll be disappointed by anything Hasbro delivers.

A classic Sunfire is pretty cool, although beyond the groundbreaking Giant-Sized issue, I have very little love for the character. I own the AoA version which I think has a wonderful design.

Although the new Wolverine mold looks nice, I am so very NOT interested in another one. I'll buy the brown version (my favourite costume) to complete ol' Juggs, and decide which version to keep (ML6 or the new one) once I have them in hand.
For me, just move on to Laura and be done with it.

Oh .. and here goes ...
Please no Liefeld Shatterstar!!!!
I was so very relieved they went a semi current route with Cable, because I have no love at all for the Liefeld designs.
I hope they use his X-Factor investigations design.

Cyclops will bring me great joy if he uses the 80's costume.
To a lesser extent, if I want the BAF, he will bring me joy if I can resell him without too much problems because he is a 90's Jim Lee version.

305Batman 05-29-2016 04:52 AM

So,Wolverine,Colossus and Juggs for me!

Regarding A-Force, we definitely need an updated She-Hulk. The old one makes me cringe, and Hasbro has been hitting it out of the park with their female figures lately. Time for a redo!

They kinda do that a lot. Captain America, Spidey, Iron Man, etc.

I'd love an updated She-hulk. I picked up the old one cheapish on eBay, I'm glkad I got it but the articulation is really bad. She needs double elbows, better hips and ankle pivot at least. Oh and fists so she can actually punch stuff.
I'm tempted to try a custom of Singularity, but I wonder if I should buy an expensive SDCC exclusive Medusa or wait and hope she gets a retail release at some point.

OMG. Please let this be true. Maybe they'll even reveal it at SDCC.

Obviously excited about a particular character and as long as it's not the early 90's "super tall super muscle sort of hulked-out" version of her, I'm good. Though I'd get that too regardless, just would rather see any other costume. All I ask, if this is a true lineup, please pretty please hasbro don't cancel this figure. I think it could lead to the breakdown to me becoming a villain intent on world rule. :p

Shatterstar and Dazzler would be cool. I wonder what outfit they'll go with Dazzler. I'm down with either the silver rollerskate costume or the blue custom wit short haired version.

Sunfire I'm kind of hoping we get classic Sunfire. Rather than the AOA Sunfire, I know, that was ane exclusive figure but as far as exclusive figures go he was fairly cheap for a long time (I think I got mine for like $25 several years after his 'con.)

Cyclops - please be Jim Lee Cyclops! I really can't think of another version I'd want.

Colossus - no real opinion on. I'm very happy with the TBML Colossus. If it's Juggerlossus I could even see me passing on it if I don't like the BAF, but I know some people do want that version.
I would be interested in a human form version but I find that highly unlikely to happen.

Wolverine - I'm hoping this would be X-23verine. Now that we're getting the definitive Wolverine in this first X-wave, I can't think of another Wolverine I'd want, though I know I am lucky enough to have the Red Hulk wave X-Force wolverine, so they might go that route. Would definitely prefer X-23verine or Old Man Logan though.

BAF - I'm going optimistically hope for Sauron or less so Nimrod or Shadow King. More likely Apocalypse. Who knows.

Release date - I will be thrilled if it's this year but even if it's early next year that's cool. it would be great, after such a drought, to get 2 X-waves a year for several years but honestly I was expecting maybe just one a year. so I'm not going to be horribly disappointed if it's for 2017.

I'm kind of surprised at some of the figures, honestly expected another "core" members wave, but if this is true we're getting three never done before figures, another Wolverine and a Sunfire (who's not core IMO). I did kind of expect to see Storm, NIghtcrawler, Bishop, Gambit and maybe Psylocke instead but I'm NOT complaining. Really not surprised at a Cyclops or Colossus. I'm sure if the X-waves continue we will get those at some point (maybe not Bishop given his smaller role in comics in the last decade, but the others for sure.)

Panther 05-29-2016 07:37 AM

This is great news! I started collecting in 2012 when The Return of Marvel Legends Terrax Wave started. The only thing is that there have not been many X-Men or Fantastic Four figures released, and I told myself that I would not collect anything released before 2012, because there are so many Legends. Plus, it seems like Hasbro has done a good job at doing redoing characters previously released. I just want a proper X-Men display. Sick of them being treated like second class citizens...the irony of that sentence, LOL.

While we aren't calling this 100% confirmed, we have gotten word from a reliable source that a second wave of 6" X-Men Marvel Legends figures are in the works for later this year. The second wave will include the following:

- 630509502195 Shatterstar
- 630509502202 Colossus

- 630509502226 Sunfire
- 630509502233 Dazzler
- 630509502240 Cyclops
- 630509502257 Wolverine

No word on what the Build-A-Figure will be.

Hey, NO!! I want a Liefeld Shatterstar, this is the best costume of this character.

I'm with Startaiger on this one, if only because it's probably the only really appealing costume if you're doing the figure as a standalone (IE no teammates).

Shatterstar's costume gallery on UncannyXMen.net

Though I wouldn't mind one of his X-Factor Investigations outfits.

Captain Nash 05-29-2016 10:11 AM

Maybe we can have...both. No, I wish. if I had a preference I'd want the X-Factor version of Shatterstar. Even though we have no Madrox, Layla, Monet, Wolfsbane, Syrin, Rictor or Guido to go along with him.

Gawd, I need this wave to be real and be now. I'm going to be dizzy if we get reveals of both my #1 and #2 most wanted figure at SDCC. Which now, I think may be possible.

Beautiful observation. :D Hopefully Perlmutter has realised that the X-Men sell like hotcakes, and money will overrule this petty agenda he has against Fox.

Dude! Firstly, cheers for the call out, and secondly I agree with you on all aspects. I love Dazzler's punk look, but it is hugely controversial (most loathe it), so Outback is great too. As for Piotr, Bianchi's Utopia costume is one of his best modern looks imo, or if you want to go wild, his Extraordinary look, even?

Now, Shatterstar.... The further any character gets from a Liefeld design, the better. Conversely, Peter David's X-Factor is hitherto one of the best X-titles of the century, so any character/costume from that run would be lovely. Here's hoping they'll give us a double-whammy and make Guido the BAF!

daetrin 05-29-2016 12:12 PM

Can you imagine getting the complete New Mutants team on the bodies available to us now?!?
I think I'm finally happy we didn't get Dani before.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that the SDCC exclusives this year don't pain me as much as Magik last year.
I have been checking eBay twice a day for the past year trying to find her for anything resembling a decent price. Never happened.
Please Hasbro, no more exclusives of characters that aren't otherwise available!!!
Use your exclusives for alternate costumes and super obscure or one-shot characters.
You hit it right on the money with the Savage Land box, FF She-Hulk, Stan Lee, Ant Man and the Deadpool Taco Truck.
And you missed so bad with Moonstone, Psylocke, Crossbones, Magik, Luke Cage, Gladiator and Hela.

Oh, and for all you Liefeld lovers, I genuinly hope you get your full team because it was an amazing time when X-Force arose and I can completely understand how passionately you would want to get this team on your shelves.

Edit: @VonPooten - A well deserved mention I would think! You are very welcome.

SymbiSpidey 05-29-2016 12:37 PM

I honestly can't think of Cyclops being anything other than the Jim Lee or John Byrne costumes. Maybe Phoenix Force? I doubt it though.

Yes totally. There was that prototype they displayed years ago that looked pretty good. I can imagine it would look even better now.

I imagine she will. Either that or at least Jim Lee Storm. One of the two I bet will be in the next X-wave (assuming there is one.) FWIW the MS FA Storm works really well and is not that expensive. $16 right now on amazon.

Out of all the Inhumans, I think she has one of the better chances of being re-released. It'll be a matter of time, though.

Pretty sure Hasbro has rebuffed the release Phoenix Force Cyclops quite a few times.

Given the Inhumans focus as of late, I'm expecting to see a full Inhumans wave soon, or at least some characters getting peppered into upcoming waves.

Speaking of which, HOW LONG UNTIL KAMALA?

Seriously! Not a huge fan or anything but I don't get it. She, and She-Thor, and Falcap, Miles Spidey, X-23verine, Cho Hulk and Sam Alexanderare the supposed to be the banner faces for ANAD Marvel, and we've only just now gotten the Falcap (ironic since Steve is now back as well), and the Miles Spidey. It's just surprising that there's been nothing for the rest.

I'm strongly suspecting now this is the SDCC set. It's got to be. I mean, how long can this go on without any figure support for it not to feel like a headline grabbing hype gimmick (and it still may well)
