There's 8 figs in the wave:

Cable, Deadpool, Havok, Iceman, Kitty, Phoenix, Rogue and Wolverine.

Not completely sold on Juggernaut yet.

Wolverine? ;)

Oh yep, I forgot about Wolverine. THX

Lufaverde 05-30-2016 02:43 PM

Judging from the pulse pics the TB Juggernaut still looks to be the superior figure! I guess we'll have to wait and see when he is in hand, but regardless I still super pumped for this wave as it's got my girl Pheonix in it!

i look at the whole figure and i'm not blown away, but it does look okay..I do think with a touch up paint job he'll be pretty nice though.

I wish havok had either been mutant x or xfactor. Which phoenix was this one...the whote phoenix?

donmeca2020 05-30-2016 03:38 PM

Im not blown away by this BAF... im curious if he'll be the size of the hulk buster?

Augustus_Cole 05-30-2016 03:44 PM

i think i'd like for the helmet's and arm/hand band's LOOK (which I like) to be duplicated on the brown on the body armor (which looks a tad bland)

Boy Blunder 05-30-2016 03:49 PM

I hope there's an alternate no-mask head, honestly. I want a less maniacal Cain head so I can pose him during his stint with the X-Men.

Classic green-and-gold Phoenix.

Even though it was an alternate reality he straight up played Logan like a fiddle.

well when the secret wars mini of OML came out, i got interested in him, then as i said a few posts back i read the original. i thought it was great. a shame it was short lived. Now the new ongoing i like, doesn't continue on from the original story but the art in the book is gorgeous. i also get that old school 90s wolverine vibe reading it. ( which i like ! ) the marvel now wolverine series really had disappointed me considering he was a character i enjoyed as a teen years back.

and Shatterstar has a variant "Rob Liefeld" edition. Comes with an extra set of feet in case you really didn't need your figure to stand anyway. 4 Extra shoulder pads, 16 extra pouches, and weapons that don't necessarily need to adhere to any naturally flowing parallel lines.

Dude your as cold as ice :D

I might be a small number of people that actually liked Liefeld's Deadpool over the today's version. that little nipple on his head annoys the hell out of me.

Lufaverde 05-30-2016 04:07 PM

I agree with DTL that I would like all the browns on juggy to be uniform... It just looks mismatched...

SymbiSpidey 05-30-2016 04:09 PM

This might be the first wave in a while where the BAF is actually the least impressive figure in the wave.

Not that that's a bad thing, I prefer it this way. And even still, doesn't look bad, just looks a bit off compared to both the ToyBiz and Marvel Select versions.

Lufaverde 05-30-2016 04:13 PM

I agree and IMO the other figures look so well in this wave that I still would of bought the wave even w/o a BAF... But I am a huge X fan and sure other people wouldn't feel the same way!

i rag on dude a lot...because it's amusing. But I really enjoyed his work back in the day. it's just at some point you can really notice the shortcomings in his style..and it made me wonder WHY he never developed as an artist. He essentially draws the exact same way today as back then. You can see where he hides...certain things that he cant draw well. I mean..WHY NOT practice the things you cant draw well to develop and get better??

*edit* i just took a look at my M.Select Juggernaut and damn...that thing is BEAST...I think that's easily the best Juggy to date... just i guess he's out of scale with the Legends figs.

I agree with ya. Now don't get me wrong i still like deadpool but i much prefer his more mercenary serious style with his spiderman-esque lines ( but meaner and more hurt you than just beat ya up-ish ) than his goofy 4th wall breaking style. And too be fair back then deadpool wore undetailed boots so leifields feet drawing shortcoming wasn't AS noticeable with wade...well kinda. Haha

@DTL
Not sure if anyone answered you but Spider-Verse was alright. I have been told the collected edition is in a messed up order though. I read the issues through Marvel Unlimited so that was not an issue. If you are REALLY into the various versions of Spider-Man it would probably be good. As only a mild Spidey fan, I enjoyed some parts and not others. Personally, the Scarlet Spiders tie-in with Ben Reilly, Kane and Ultimate Universe Jessica Drew was my favorite of it.

Yeah, Mutant X would have been good. I would have preferred any costume where he did not have a mask so I could have used the head for a Realm of Kings version of him sometime down the road.

I believe comments made by Hasbro back when the wave was initially teased stated "almost as big as the Hulkbuster".

Spyne98 05-30-2016 05:45 PM

I always enjoyed the more serious Deadpool as well, but I don't dislike how he is now. Overall, it's been a great weekend for Legends news. If Juggernaut is Hulkbuster size, I am in for that. I like Juggy being BIG. As long as he is comparable to the BAF Rhino, I'm happy to be honest. I'm looking forward to SDCC to see some size comparisons.

Don't get me wrong, i liked his style of deadpool, and he was kinda like a pioneer so to speak when him, mcfarlane, lee, and so fourth left to go and make image. however yea.... i understand 100% some of his drawing are so so.

Funny thing is i met him last year at a con, tell me why the guy dresses and has his hair styled the same way he did back in the 90s.... lol he seemed like a decent guy, but whoaaa.

I have a marvel select Juggernaut, he is LARGE. similar in size to the legends hulkbuster BAF. his design however makes me think he is and will be still far superior to the this upcoming juggernaut baf.

that's originally why i had no interest in him ( Deadpool) back when he came out back in the 90s.... i was and still am a big Spider-man fan especially when Mcfarlane drew him. i felt as though he was kinda biting the whole spider-man look, oh boy do i kick myself in the ass for not buying a few issues of NM98 come nowadays. howwever as i said above comparing to the current DP, i kinda like Liefelds better notice below this just came out at Megacon this past weekend.

i remember like it was yesterday even though it was 25 years ago... i was walked into a comic shop with my grandmother, i was doing my usual Friday after school pick up of comics. there the book wasto the right of me on one of the new releases shelves. i glanced at it for a second and thought " who the hell would buy this spider-man wannabe looking comic".

Dude you should have done that when the movie came out.... now it's going for it regular raw market value currently.

maybe i should wait two more years till cable is in the movie....time frame means nada to me..

UpDog 05-30-2016 07:44 PM

Is it possible to order a case through previews/lcs? This is the first time I've decided to forgo the hunt on a wave.

either way you can make about couple hundred now, or if you do wait for the next movie, these will go for absurd prices.
