Hasbro Toy Shop. Last year, they gave us an on sale date, prior to that, we were hitting refresh on their page for days on end.

But I totally caved and pre-ordered the X-Men wave off Big Bad this morning. I want everyone in it.

Yeah, an official announcement would be ideal and the most accurate. Although, I find it funny that eBay often breaks news (inadvertently) before corporate public-relation reps release press junkets to the media...that is, as it pertains to toys. I guess we will see soon...

They are slow, but they are so much cheaper than any other option if you're an Australian collector. I've ordered a lot from them, never had any trouble besides them taking longer to ship stuff than I'd like.

I find it funny, too. All that unnecessary build-up by Hasbro, and some dude finds them loose on eBay! haha

:Block Regarding the Marvel Legend SDCC exclusive, Hasbro will be breaking tradition if it does not include the Abomination figure whose digital sculpt was shown during last year's panel. Hasbro has teased the SDCC exclusive this way for a couple years now. This also kinda conflicts with rumors that Abomination is the BAF for the Cap wave. Unless he is in both. :Block

I watched (in horror) X-Men Apocalypse yesterday. I seriously thought I was watching Nightmare on Elm Street 7 it was so bad. I really hate Fox and Singer. Hopefully that's the end of Singer's sorry ass. I'm so sick of his "vision" of the X-Men. Take a note from Deadpool & Avengers, even Antman and Hulk and other comic movies and just make them like the damn comics please and give them some accurate uniforms.

I caved in and ordered a one case from Dorkside and one from BBTS of the Juggernaut wave. Let the waiting game begin.

Captain Nash 06-01-2016 12:52 PM

I liked X-Men Apocalypse *Runs away*....*runs back into room* I can't bear to watch Wolverine Origins again and while I didn't hate X3 I didn't like it enough to defend it, either..*runs back out of room*

Oh yeah that reminds me, I only got excited for about 5 minutes near the end during Apocalypse. I won't ruin it for anyone that hasn't seen it but that was a cool part. If you've seen it you know what I'm talking about.

Yes, that was the best part of the movie if what you're talking about is what I think you're talking about.

It's okay.

I loved X-Men Apocalypse.

Y'all can fight me. Hell, it's one of the few movies my wife and I might go see in the theater twice. It was a lot of fun, though I wish they'd given Jubes more screentime, and hadn't offed one of my favorite characters. Other than that, it was great, and I hope they keep some, if not all, of these newer actors. Especially Shipp. No more Halle Berry, woo!

After seeing some better loose pics of the X-wave, I made a quick mock-up for a What-If Dark Phoenix. I'm a glutton for pain...

I really think Thundra's face would make a great Dark Phoenix, though she needs wilder hair. Like all over the place, alas I couldn't think of figure with hair already like that.

Also Tye Sheridan nails it as Cyclops. He's the visually perfect actor for young Cyke and I thought his acting was decent.

It's cool you liked it so much, felt that way about DOFP. I think this movie falls in the lower middle of the movies for me, but then again there's only one movie I hate and one that I'm neutral on...so it's not like it ranked that high overall for me. I do need to watch Deadpool though. I own it, just haven't gotten around to watching it...I know crazy right?

did DorkSide charge at the time of order...or when the product ships?

SymbiSpidey 06-01-2016 02:01 PM

I'm in the camp of enjoying X-Men Apocalypse as well. The new X-Men cast was absolutely fantastic, I prefer many of them over their portrayals from the original trilogy, especially Storm and Cyclops.

Agreed on Sheridan. Heck, I'm happy with nearly every cast replacement they've done in the 'New' trilogy.

As for ranking... yeah, I can't actually say I hate X3, but I don't really remember much about it that I liked. The first Wolverine movie, though... that was pretty awful IMO. I did enjoy Taylor Kitsch as Gambit, but I'm in a minority there. The rest range from decently passable to really enjoyable - Apocalypse is probably up in the top half for me.

If you use a credit/debit it will charge when it ships. If you use Paypal it will charge immediately.

I guess that works pretty well just looking at that photo.

I will take kitsch as gambit over ( i swear someone had to be on the drug from i come in peace when they cast channing " i cant act to save my life " tatum as gambit ) tatum any day. Sure he didnt rock a cajun accent but at least he isnt wooden and one dimensional like tatum...who even when trying to be funny is droll. Granted that just my opinion but id have cast kitsch as i think hes got more of the gambit look and 'tude. .

Damn i hope i can find these in the wild....

Agree. If the Gambit movie with Tatum goes forward it will be the first X-Men movie I have no intention of seeing. and Taylor Kitsch is very underrated I think. Clearly from his box office though most of the rest of the world disagrees with me.

While battleship was bad, i thought john carter of mars was pretty damn good. I mean i loved the books so naturally i enjoyed the flick but it just didn't get any really good marketing. Plus the chick who played deja thoris was smokin hot!

Oh damn. Has that ever happened with a pre-order of Legends?

Yep, hopefully Hasbro will do the heavy lifting by making her a Walgreen's exclusive. I highly doubt it, but the hope keeps me from crying at night...

Ugh, Tatum..Tatum..Tatum... He will never be Gambit to me. He just doesn't have the suave, roguish charm to pull off the role. And you are dead-on with the wooden statement.

I don't see the film doing that well. The only thing that could possibly save it, could also damn it. Mutant Cameos.

You can still get a set in case on BBTS, along with a few of the figures.

Yes. It actually happened when the GotG wave came out two years ago. BBTS was sold out on preorder cases several times, my own case didn't arrive and ship until nearly October when the figures were in store for nearly 3 months before that.
