Exactly when i went searching yesterday, all i saw was the rhino wave figures, some absorbimg man wave, some of the all father wave, and if course red onslaught wave... you would figure the stores would either discount them immensely to get rid of them or send them back to hasbro or whoever.

It then comes to my mind that why are these stores still even stocking the much older waves?? I mean granted they want to sell them but no one apparently wants or needs them.

Man, retailers are really stubborn. I know the Target by where I used to go to school has had around 6-7 Superior Spider-Men sitting on the pegs since early last year, and they're still trying to sell them for full price. They might as well discount those and keep it moving because those aren't leaving those pegs any time soon lol

Amusingly, there's a Cartwheel coupon right now for 50% off all Marvel Legends 6" at Target...

I kinda hope X-Treme Rogue is a little easier to get my hands on now that theres a better Rogue coming out … now about that X-treme Psylocke

donmeca2020 06-06-2016 06:12 AM

I recall a few of you complaining about the new X-men movie, i just saw it yesterday. I must say i thought it damn good. From the tiny scene with Jackman doing the weapon X homage, to just about everything was good.

However everyone said that girl alexandra shipp is a good actress ? Hard to tell considering she barely spoke through out the movie. Olivia munn looked thr part of psylocke, same thing though barely any talking coming from her either.

I felt a few different stories were put into this movie, overall though i felt it was pretty good especially for a Fox movie.

And yet she was still better at playing Storm than Halle Berry. :D

Halle can't help the lines she is given. Gawd that line in the first movie (you know the one i speak of I'm sure!) is just about the worst thing I've heard in any movie short of Batman & Robin.

FWIW DonMeca2020, I expect we will see Shipp expand on the role in very positive ways in the next movie. I have to agree she was mostly a non-entity short of filling in a checkbox for a horseman, until maybe the last couple of scenes. I thought Munn did okay, she just didn't have many lines either, she definitely looked the part (more than Shipp which she still looked okay in.) I cannot stand Olivia Munn as an actress but she visually nailed the part. And at least this time around Psylocke get better treatment than that "thing" in X-3. I don't know how to do spoilers so I won't say more than that, there is some things I'd like to say though.

I'm considering seeing it again actually in hopes I will like it even more the second time around. Right now I still feel it's lower middle of the series for me, interchangeable with The Wolverine, but above X3 and DOFP. I still would not call it a "bad" movie by any means though, just solidly okay.

Whoah hes a lot taller than i thought , i was thinking juggernaut would be the same height as rhino BAF, but using a 80% complete rhino BAF with uncanny x-force wolverine but with rhino hes a bit shorter than hulk , so this juggers is in good scale

Captain Nash 06-06-2016 07:46 AM

Damn Juggy is huge. I'm not sure how that compares with the TBML version but definitely looks bigger. Which considering he is a BAF, he should be.

Augustus_Cole 06-06-2016 07:51 AM

wolvie is short though...look at the head to feet placement in the packaging for the figs.

I'm not. I just don't care about half of the characters in the wave. I actually haven't touched an X-Men comic since 98.

Guns for Deadpool

Anyone have any ideas on where to get some black guns for Deadpool? Thanks.

Juggy looks really nice, but he's just not getting me excited. Maybe it's because there are already a few alternatives and I kinda want a new character, idk.

well she nailed a certain look that most of us were partial to, which was the younger Mohawk storm. Halle Berry on the other hand i thought she was ok, but then i think about it again , don't recall her ever having that short of hair in any of the comics. then again i've never been a "hardcore" X-men fan. while i like them i never really religously followed them other than the 90s cartoon.

Back on Topic with the new X wave, i keep checking hoping they put the preorders back up for the single figures but now i noticed the WHOLE WAVE is now sold out on BBTS.....

Eh, she never, ever made me feel like she was Storm, regardless of her lines - it's the delivery that matters. At least Shipp actually made me think of a young street thief 'Ro.

TheBlueMarvel 06-06-2016 09:15 AM

Unfortunately, with all of these movies skewed toward youthful casting for both longevity/sequel-creation and 'market-appeal', all my choices for Storm are out the window. If some casting exec could only find an actor with the presence and skill of Angela Basset, the statuesque grace/elegance/beauty of Iman, and the fierce force of personality that is Grace Jones...well then, that would be perfect. But that ain't gonna happen without cloning and time travel...

During the strike team outfit stuff storm had that pixie haircut and p-sylocke had a ponytail.

Robb 06-06-2016 09:33 AM

Found black panther wave at wal mart this morning. I am in S.C.
