Did they show pics of Rogue at NYCC? I followed that link and only saw pics of Jubilee. I was under the impression that they showed pics of the new Uncanny X-men team pack only at the Toyfair panel where NO pictures are allowed. I've seen on other sites people claiming the team pack is Jim Lee inspired though that doesn't clear much up as you image search those characters with Jim Lee's name and you'll find he started drawing Uncanny x-men during the x-tintion agenda(?) I believe where many characters changed looks (i.e. Rogue going from green/black leotard body suit to her yellow/green bomber jacket look, Psylocke going asian, Wovie going from brown to blue, etc.) and many characters left (i.e. Longshot, Dazzler) and the rest reformed into Blue and Gold teams. Personally I'd think doing the green/black Rogue and yellow brown Wolvie would visually fit with Longshot the best but seeing as they did an X-force pack with members of various x-force teams I could see hasbro easily doing jacket 90s Rouge, Classic Longshot, and yellow/blue Wolverine...with random Xbaby Cyke!!! (despite actually liking most things mojo-verse related I find this random and strange)

Soundwave was going to be the second DoTM toy I bought (bought Shockwave too) too. Solid move burying a fan-favorite's only release like they did. At least they got the reversed-colored Bumblee with roof mounted asshole canon released though.

Hopefully they pop up at Marshalls or something.

LapuLapu 02-13-2012 02:02 PM

Im going to bet that the Rogue were getting will be the 80s version the Black spandex and Green oversized tank top , or the newer Rogue ( didnt Longshot recently appeared in the xbooks? not sure ), hopefully we will see a variant box with her in her 90s jim lee costume.

I got an idea for the next Masterworks since you cant army build Fin Fang Foom, next year will be the Celestials, now thats an gigantic army builder like the sentinels.

LapuLapu 02-13-2012 02:09 PM

And also where the hell are the Ghost Rider 2 movie tie in toys wtf??? Im in need of a Hellbike and dont feel like making one out of scratch. Do people really hate Nicholas Cage that much that they didnt decide to make a toyline out of his likeness.

Veronica Mars 02-13-2012 02:10 PM

I could see it being this Rogue costume since all it needs is a paint app and no accessories
http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...igcostume5.jpg

Is it possible they won't do Gigantic Battle sets this year? Did they sell well enough to make it worth continuing with them?

I was talking about this one ,http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...7/b1f1f581.jpg

But Id rather see that one you posted Veronica than the one I posted.

Spacemafia 02-13-2012 03:26 PM

They already have the belt for that rogue with secret wars Storm...

Fedup23 02-13-2012 03:32 PM

This is the definitive Jim Lee Rogue IMO.. and I hope its the one they release.

Molded sleeves and a separate jacket piece for the torso. Tha'ts how they usually do jackets and coats. I'd love to see jim lee Rogue!

NoodleChow 02-13-2012 03:38 PM

it's possible they could use the jubilee arms which have sorta rolled up sleeves and gloves. but then they'd need to tool the belt and have a partial jacket and also tool up boot flares. realistically, i can imagine it being pretty cheap overall. as long as it's on the x-23 body with a new sculpted head. that's the least i ask for, dagnamit.

Spacemafia 02-13-2012 03:41 PM

Marvel Select put out a watcher a while ago. It's pretty damn awesome looking, but I never got around to picking it up.

Jason Abbadon 02-13-2012 04:11 PM

You really should- it's the best Watcher possible for any line ever- he's awesome.
Mine is posed in front of the TV with a "facepalm" of disgust at the moment.
It's all the politics.

For Doomtron and his Doom appreciation thread, although I couldn't find it or I would have posted it on there instead.

Also should I be worried when I purchased an item from a member and they said they've sent it, but than they post on the board a couple of days later to PM them my paypal info?

I was wondering the same thing a couple weeks ago, when I first saw a trailer for spirit of vengeance. I don't think there are any plans to make a toy line. I use the bike that came with wolverine in X-men Origins.

The reason I don't think we'll see this one is because ToyBiz made more than one of this style in the 90's.

@ Exodus, im not sure i understand your concern. maybe i'm reading it wrong?

Jason Abbadon 02-13-2012 04:26 PM

Dude- I can just send you a better painted Rogers head. The Gauntlet is the same that comes with Warlock...and you should have that.

That review made me laugh! $65 for a crappy repaint fig that cant even wear his sole accessory? Why were they SO stupid to give me the Infinity Gauntlet (which he never had in the comics) instead of the readily available Cosmic Cube (which he did get once)?

What's worse, they teased you with Secret Wars Doom on the card! That's rubbing your nose in it.
That would have been worth it, to have him in that armor!
