hah, i remember those days. back when we had so many stinkin' members. It was during toyarks "golden age" where 90% of the sites discussion would be in this thread, and conversation would be about everything. then something happened. i don't remember because that was over two years ago. Ive been here for....five years now?

Well...MU line finished and the hard to find rares where never found so people gave up...is what happened. I was just a guest of this site at the time but I read everything you guys used to post. Good times!

nice dude! but in terms of painting, you should've done what i did and spray painted.

i added clear acrylic sheets for the windows. but what you could do is break some atual glass and glue shards on to the window edges to make it look like something smashed through it or something.

I agree. I should have spray painted, I tried a different technique cause I suck with spray paint, but it didn't completely do what I wanted... next time. As far as the windows, it has to be playable, so no real glass. Cant have me or my son getting diced up. lol..I might look into the clear sheets..where did ya grab them from? Still trying to get the dios down..its a fine line..they need to look cool but still get played with by a 8.5 year old. He's discovered he likes Joes now too( my poor wallet) and with MU being so slow(cough dying cough) been on the Joe search * anybody got some 25th's hit me with a pm*

ah, the acrylic sheets. check michaels or home depot. keep in mind its not cheap. i have left over materials from college(I was doing industrial design at the time).

i love it that you are making it for your kid. if i ever have my own, i making this out of plywood(see below) it'll be indestructible. so far, that dio, below, is my masterpiece:

I remember...those were dark days indeed - the mods decided to divide up the boards so members could actually keep up with the traffic...a bunch of people kicked off, things got heated, some left, some got banned etc etc

Not many of us survived...I still bear the scars to this day.

use SUGAR GLASS........much more realistic than thin cheap ass acrylic, no one gets cut, you most likely have everything needed, if it does break.......you can eat it!

What is the best Venom?

After a long debate....getting Spidey villians now. Got Doc, Vulture, Sandy and BC in the last two waves from local stores. Wasnt planning on them but since they were there....

Anyway.... need to start finding them all.

its personal preference of course. but my favorite by far is stretch strike venom who was the repainted into anti- venom.

The 2010 Spidey line gave us two Venoms -
Toxic Blast Venom (Eddie Brock)
Tight fitting symbiote, incredibly buff form.
Stretch Strike Venom (Mac Gargan)
More monstery, hunched, symbiote bits hanging off.

They both have Avenger movie articulation.
I'd go with Stretch Strike, but that's because Dark Reign is my favourite storyline and I don't much care for Brock. Also, Stretch Strike just seems more like a terrible alien parasite than Toxic Blast.

Why not both. Venom I mean. Actually I watched an episode of ultimate spider man and I like the idea of venom taking multiple host on at one time even the goblin was venomised.
