that was a plot point in new avengers several years back. all of new york or something got turned into symbiotes. This could actually be a customizers dream project, is to make a ton of marvel superheroes into venomites
|
After finishing up the Daredevil series over the weekend which was easily the best thing to come out of the MCU so far (Ant-Man's next month though...) and receiving some of my uncle's comics that had tons of original Marvel comics including the Man Without Fear I decided to do this using DC Collectibles Injustice Nightwing with Injustice Batman's head. My buddy said he'd make a stencil for me so I can paint the logo on his chest. There's no way I can freehand something like that. I tried.
http://i.imgur.com/YZ2pRAE.jpg I think this might be the most effort I've ever put into doing something like this but it was worth it because Daredevil's been one of my favorite characters since I was a youngster. It took me over a day just painting alone because it would rub off and look like crap around the joints. After some advice about mixing a bit of water and using some nail polish remover on the base paint so it wasn't so dark it finally worked for the most part. Sorry if it's too glossy but I used superglue as a sealer because I wasn't about to let that freaking paint rub off over time. |

Regarding the best Venom, it is a decision between stretch strike and toxic blast or getting both. While Brock is still my preferred Venom the stretch strike toy does generally look better. MacGargan was definitely a solid Venom overall in the books and I liked the idea that the symbiote was more controlling with him plus it was a return to the evil Venom. I still like Eddie more though because he and the symbiote roughly shared control and he had a unique, twisted moral compass that allowed him to justify his evil. In the world of toys though, I'd probably say go with stretch strike.

@LAW...ASDA in Huddersfield...fresh cases just sitting there as of Sunday afternoon
@En Sabah,Bmorr and Jedi...I think I will go Toxic Blast. I plan on getting the stretch strike Anti-Venom and it would look too weird with the same body i think. @Snake... http://stores.ebay.com/Bad-Mother-Cu...p2047675.l2563 this guy will make ANY logo for CHEAP for you. WAY better than painting it on. Write to him and ask @DeathOfTheLines...good opoint i may keep both @Ky & Jedi...that SHS body with the toxic blast head and you would be the bizz-ness! Expensive kit bash though...supose you would have the toxic buck with the SHS head to sell back off though. @Pilkster... good idea about CD cases, also, trade your Anti-Venom to me. I wont stop bugging you, ask these guys about HYDRA figures! I have written poor Bmorr 20 times on three different sites chasing after his! @everyone else...i said (joked) about wearing panties while reading TA and no one batted an eye....kis this what you have come to expect of me? Is there no shock value anymore.....you let me down. Perhaps you should have a good long think about that tonight. |

wonder if this will scale well? I know the POPS are about the same size as our plastic gems.... just curious if this con exclusive would look good next to the taco gang? picture me squinting with one eye (like Picasso) and trying to measure the POP to the door of the roach coach with my thumb |
@Ukmu, actually having Stretch-Strike and Anti-Venom would be alright since MacGargan and Anti-Venom did have a throwdown. My personal pick would be to get the Toxic Blast Venom since I do prefer the original '90s look.

What's the story behind the hulk with what looks like bots bny stark. And the weird body armor that only covers his shoulders
|
I like all the venoms including the Aqua venom (transparent blue tounge out) that can pass as a marvel vs capcom version. And he actually can (and has) turned that color and hid in the water from Spider-Man.
I saw that chimi truck and I thought it looked a little small. I just assume some here do browse the ark j Edgar Hoover style in women's panties. |

The full story behind the Hulk armor is its a transforming expandable suit designed to protect Banner when he isn't Hulked out..it also helps him not be butt ass -naked everytime he reverts back. so the shoulder pads come closer and make the collar around him. the arm/elbow pads that always fall off the toy extend an become sleeves...etc. hope that helps
