I just took a look at my Walmart. All the Force Awakens stuff was barely touched. They put the lone Han Stormtrooper in the clearance aisle for FULL price. Then there was the future Star Wars spot in the aisle... http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1441418215 There was NO SPOT FOR THEIR OWN 3.75 inch EXCLUSIVES! |

picked up a couple of things from Walmart this morning and then went to TrU and grabbed a poster or 2 for me and my friend! :D

Is this guy worthy of joining such an elite squad? I guess we will find out in 4 months! |

Which do you prefer? Elite Series or Black Series?
I compared the two versions of the Stormtrooper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdEIA-wBeQc |

The new SW Micro Machines are great, I got the Endor Forest Battle set and its like my Star Wars figures have Star Wars figures: http://i1258.photobucket.com/albums/...pskfbzvh7z.jpg http://i1258.photobucket.com/albums/...psgvtmoskz.jpg The walker is ok, the top rotates, but you have to bend the legs back to get it to stand. The speeder bikes with the minifigs are awesome though, may have to try and get some of the other sets that come with figures. |

I like these figurines! |
So yeah, what was the big deal about this weekend when it came to Star Wars? Target and TRU's isles are as barren today as they were 6 months ago, so nothing has changed as far as I am concerned. Neither of them had any 6 inch figures, or even a price tag for them, the only had vehicles, role play items, and giant dolls. Hasbro over hyped this weekend and dropped the ball majorly.

I picked up Poe’s X-Wing Fighter Die-cast vehicle today at a Disney Store, one of their many exclusives for the forthcoming Star Wars film that strangely enough I didn’t see for sale on their website. As I said in the "Look what I just got" thread, the packaging has a large window and that makes it a bit hard to photograph properly in its unopened state.
http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...psgcanskqx.jpg I do have a few peripheral notes about it, some of which could be possible spoilers. BB-8 is in the astromech area so perhaps Poe borrowed him for a mission that will be disclosed in the film. It could also be surmised that Poe is his original owner, explaining why photos exist of BB-8 in a large net. Poe is the leader of Black Squadron thus his call sign for his X-wing is Black 1 which explains its paint scheme of all black with orange and silver highlights. There are three individual landing gears that can be manually removed. They all have a weathered looking appearance. Since the wings are in the open position I’m assuming the wings open and close like with the vintage die-cast X-wing fighters in the ‘70’s. A lot of these X-wings had warped laser cannons in the package so I suggest going to a Disney Store to get one. They were in plentiful supply so getting one shouldn't be a problem if you have access to a Disney store or if you know someone who can pick one up for you. |

Hey, it's not like Star wars is literally the largest toy/ collector property in the history of the planet with billions of dollars of merchandise spanning almost four decades. How could a little company like Hasbro have possibly foreseen such interest? I'll bet most theaters only show it on one screen....

if the mouse shoe fits.... but toy wise, I'd have to give the bastard mouse a pass. Hasbro has been handling SW since they killed and ate kenner. they've even been through one trilogy at the toy helm. Hasbro just seems to have gone to shit for movie merch as of late: see, Age of Ultron, and Jurassic World. Keven Costner's 1991 robin hood flick got cooler toys! we do all know that the new SW flick is going to break records, hopefully revive the passion of old school fan boys, and bring a whole new generation of fans on board, and possibly exercise the demons of JarJar. so there should be no way Hasbro wouldn't push the hell out of this! I remember when episode 1 toys hit, it was on the world news, there were fist fights for darth maul figures (by the way if anyone needs any ep1 figs hit me up I have an attic full). now they release a hand full of figures and other items.
