I don't know much about her but I've heard good things, so I think it could be worst. To be honest though whoever it was, I was going to be sulky unless it was Yvonne Strahovski, Katheryn Winnick or as a concession Emily Blunt.

I would have been ecstatic is Winnick were Danvers and Strahovski were Moonstone - let's face it, look at her. She IS Moonstone.

I got all excited because I saw that over on TFW they have official pictures of the Hasbro SDCC G.I.Joe vs Transformers set. So I jumped over here but still nothing about Marvel Legends news. Blast!

Nothing, no rumors no leaks that I've heard just wishes. It's kind of annoying at this point....we are like 5 weeks away!

Unless it has been 100% confirmed as the BAF for that Cap wave, they did show off that Abomination a year or so ago, maybe it'll be like a Gamma powered 5 pack or a Masters of Evil set? I also vaguely recall mention of a new Sasquatch figure some years ago. Perhaps it could be an Alpha Flight 5 pack? I'm not reading the current Captain Marvel book, but I hear they have an important role in it. While I'm not even sure who is on team any more you could do Sasquatch, Vindicator, Guardian, Northstar, Auora and maybe even Puck.

Alpha Flight would be killer. My wants for sets always will include classic Thunderbolts, Alpha Flight, and New Mutants/X-Force (depending on figures) until we get some to round out those groups.

It's funny that you mention the Thunderbolts. Something is telling me that Marvel is trying to really build them up. I think their time will come. I would love a box set with them, or even a full wave. There's still that Songbird that they showed off some time ago that we never got.

Thunderbolts (original squad) would be awesome, Alpha Flight would be preferred...I'd consider either a win.

Not sure whats goin on at sdcc....no doubt itll be something thats been demanded at mass retail but will be made an exclusive. As far as the deep fried bacon wrapped twinkie and donut chicken sammich they were eaten together as lunch but not meshed together. ;)

Same thing the carnivals have the craziest thing surprised they don't try to trademark them or something :P Hopefully the Marvel stuff isn't too pricey :P Last year it was all Ant-Man stuff which was ok. The Strange box was the best though.

Does anyone out there who customize have any suggestions on what might make a good unmasked portrait for the Mayday Spider-Girl and the Ultimate Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew)? The Wasp seems like an easy choice for Mayday, however I wanted to go with something with a more unique look to it, not to mention that the peg hole for the Wasp's head is a little bit larger then the next page for Mayday and I didn't want to do too much in the way of building it up as it complicates the original head. The same for Spider-Woman...but in her case, I just can't find a head sculpt that I feel fits the character.

Honestly, I think the new Kitty's head might be a good base for Ultimate Jessica, if you're willing to wait for her to hit

As for Mayday... Wasp's the only one I can think of right now. Maaaaaybe a Rachel Summers, but that would take some hair work.

If the past couple SDCC sets are any example, I'm guessing it will be a set helmed by a central, what I would consider a "main" marvel hero on a pre-existing buck (Luke Cage, Star Lord, Doctor Strange)that very likely could get a re-release, surrounded by 2 fan favorites not immediately recognizable, that if the wind blows right, could get a release in a related wave (moonstone/crossbones, gladiator/black bolt, Dormammu/Magik), and then 2 obscure gimme's for fan collectors (Ghost/Satana, Blastaar/medusa, Brother Voodoo/hela)

I think an alpha flight set with wolverine could work this year, with the new wolverine buck going around. Add Guardian on Bucky, Sasquatch on minor reworking of ML Hulk Wendigo, Aurora and Northstar on the smaller bucks. Hell, throw puck back in. Needs to straddle the line between something requested and something that won't cause frustration for casual fans not to get.
