True...but if you want one that works well with your Marvel Legends or Fortnite figures...you're SOL, unless you're able to grab the MonsterArts Wolf that came out a while back, who is neither cheap nor easy to find at this point.

My Fortnite scales to Neca... so. :) LoL... I get that he'll. maybe be a better match size wise to MCU and StarWars figures I guess. I just would have rather seen Mezco jump into a license that isn't already flooding the action figure shelves

This looks cool. Since I don’t have any of the NECA Predators I am definitely picking him up. I think a One:12 Predator is going to be amazing. I’m super happy Mezco decided to do this. It’s a nice surprise as far as I’m concerned.

Mezco just sent an email saying they will begin charging for FFH Spiderman on March 6.

I received my FFH Spider Man on Tuesday. As usual Mezco nailed this. I think they do a great job on their Spider Man figures. This one is no exception. The headsculpts are amazing. I love the suit and I’m happy with the accessories. This is THE FFH Spider Man figure.

Attention Gomez and Pink Skulls fans: Baron Bends and the Aquaticons are coming soon.

I’ve been on board with the One:12’s since the beginning but, I don’t have any of the Gomez figures. While the bodies and accessories are cool, I’m just not into the giant insect heads. Humanoid insects just don’t fit into my collection. So I’ve passed on those. I also took a pass on the Pink Skulls Society. Honestly they felt like a lazy cash grab. They put pink skulls on Gomez bodies and added some accessories. They made them available as a 3 pack only. People ended up spending $225 for 3 identical figures. So I passed on those. Which brings us to Baron Bends. Now this is more like what I expect from a One:12 figure. Whereas the Pink Skulls seemed like a way for Mezco to get rid extra stock, Baron Bends is completely new. It looks like some thought was put into him. That’s why I pulled the trigger this morning and ordered one. It’s the first figure in the Gomez line I’ve picked up. I liked the figure and all the accessories but what put this figure over the top for me was the Cthulhu/ Predator head. The figure also comes with a t-shirt and some other stuff to help justify the $112 price. After watching a review for Baron Bends online I’m really looking forward to adding him to my collection.

I can sympathize with most of this, I grabbed Baron too! I love the Joe Style tubes and Such, most got 10$ off the figure as well, And he is in stock which means he was prob a comic con exclusive. Should be shipping soon!

Does anyone have any idea how to go about painting or otherwise recoloring the vinyl applique bits on a Mezco costume?

Yes! I’m super stoked about this. I love Blade. I have the regular release and he is one of my favorite One:12’s. I couldn’t get the Toy Fair version so I’m definitely going to pick this dude up. I just watched D Amazings review and this version is going to be a nice compliment to the Blade I already have.

Zzzzzz... honestly not too impressed with their offerings this year. I might be in for 2-3 figures that's it. Imho they shoulda put a vest on the trenchcoat version... lazy cash grab.

I like this version. I think it’s better than the elusive and super expensive Toy Fair version. The bald head, red shades, and different pants material as well as the vest help set this figure apart from the 1st two versions. This figure is a perfect example of why I love the One:12 line. It’s nicely detailed, well articulated and comes with a bunch of useful cool accessories. The vest is a big focal point on the figure. I want to put that on full display. The trench coat covers it up too much. I really like the idea of having a classic and a modern version of Blade. He’s a great character. Both the regular release and this version are going to make great companions to some of my other Mezcos like the Spec Ops Punisher and Shadowlands Daredevil. I’m super happy that I preordered him. IMHO he’s well worth the money.

Wow! Crazy week for Mezco. I just got notice 2 days ago Baron Bends has shipped. Then today MDX Blade is on his way! That’s 2 Mezco exclusives in one week! Awesome!

Got notice of an incoming FedEx from Mezco and thought that it was just crazy fast shipping on Blade... Got the box today- Another Baron Bends... WTF?
