Packaging is packaging. I really don't think it matters. My problem is how useless American packaging is. Japan makes it so you can put your figures back in the packages if you want to resell them or just displayed them sealed. American packaging is garbage and just a waste of space.

Wow, Scott can just drop the mike after this display. I am totally wowed and excited about this line up of goodies. Also what a beautiful POP figure.
Mantenna and Icer are going on the boner jam list. |
Mantenna looks awesome! I kinda wish they had gone vintage for the eyeballs though.

I think everyone but Mantenna is crap and I'm not even feeling Mantenna either. Don't get me wrong, Mantenna looks great, I just have no love for it and I have been waiting for him for a long time now. I guess my love of MOTUC really is dead. |
That's my plan too

Batros looks so sick!!!!!! Another figure I've been wanting for a while. |
just watched House of Shokoti Part 1 and 2! Pretty epic two parter. Its got a couple of side characters, I always get excited for the likes of Trap Jaw and Ram Man. Its great that we are so close to getting Ram Man!
I am super stoked to see all the filmation characters. Icer has been a big one on my wish list. I remember the "vintage" version came with the Ice trap but it being a bootleg I am sure it doesn't hold much klout to Scott and the gang. I am glad they took there time with Mantenna, I think he turned out great. The four leg part is not weird looking. The extra eyes are great. Its a perfect blend of Filmation, 2000x and the classic look of the original figure. And Dr Kain please stop flaming me to get into a argument with you over toys. |

My only beef is Grayskull looks too small for my near $300 after shipping.

I am glad Castaspella is the next POP figure. I am curious what months these will be released, we might have the full 2012 sub revealed before SDCC at this rate! |

As for the size of Grayskulll debate, it's hard to tell for sure, I'm pretty sure Clawful is shopped in, so the scale might be off in the pics |

I hate to see people complain about this line. The price hikes and QC issues are nothing different from ANY other toyline out there. But when you complain about the characters produced- just admit to yourself your not a MOTU fan and move on.
As for the reveals- MOTUC once again proves to be the best American toyline on the market. Each and every one of the reveals will be month after month of toy happiness for me. And Grayskull is NOT smaller. It just seems that way going from a flat 2 dimensional surface to a real sculpted mock-up. If you think it looks small now, wait to see how tiny it seems after the model is painted dark green. |

Not wanting to ruin the party, but 4 legs on Mantenna could equal to a screw up like Swiftwind had. Might not happen but with a niche line that you simply can't take back to the store if something is wrong, any fault is intensified 10-fold

I'm sorry, I know how that feels, I've kinda had the same feelings about MU lately

I can see where excitement can dwindle for this line. Remember that seeing pictures of figures is nothing like having the figure in hand, especially if you open it up and play with it a little before you put it up for display to never really touch it again (that is pretty much what I do with the toys I open up nowadays).
I get everything MOTUC for the most part but getting MOTUC versions of the vintage toy line MOTU characters is what excites me the most. Nostalgia is a powerful force. MOTUC has been and is my favorite line to collect since its release regardless of all the Mattel/DR screw-ups. It is one of (if not THE) the best modern retro toylines there is (much like the 25th Anniversary GI Joe and the 200X MOTU line was at the time). MOTUC has the power! |

I just don't think I am the He-Man fan I thought I was. I think I really only loved the figures because of the sculpts and articulation, and now that I have gotten into Figuarts, which has better articulation, better accessories, and feels like a collector's line, MOTUC just means nothing to me anymore outside of the main few. Lately, the only other non-Figuarts line I have been desiring and enjoying are the DCU lines. |
