i really said i'm trying to cut back on buying anything that isn't a new release ...BUT...in light of us just getting these Superior Spider-Menzes.... I found a guy that make the 3d prints of the (i dunno what they are actually called) the spider-'bots' that superior spider-man had with him ...a pack of 3 is like $14.00. Theyre cast in red and just need to be painted... of COURSE i feel like i need them now..especially in light of our last purchase.

I wonder if we will see a prototype of Angela at SDCC this year, she's due for release next year so they might have a 3D sculpt or prototype ready.

I hope I can find somewhere selling the Spider-man case of 6 for a decent price, Premium Collectables only had the 8 case and I still haven't sold off duplicates from earlier waves.

Clear twist ties like the ones that used to come with nearly every toy. Watch the tutorial from Happy Day Customs on YouTube for a great method. I only have my phone for internet right now or I would post up a pic of my Scarlet Spidey using the ones I made following his method.

As for the Superior Spidey, if you want to see an amazing custom for inspiration, check out the one AC Custom Figs did awhile back using those books bots and the backpack legs.

and...today...i PRE-ORDERED another Black Panther(to cannibalize) and another Nick Fury (army build) from BBTS. I got an email an hour later that they are ready to ship. ...Interesting. So I guess they have received their cases of them...Mine has to sit in muh Bag-O-Loot until my SS Trunks is ready to ship....which I've already received the email saying they'd be ready soon...

The head on one of my new superior has crappy printed web design between his eyes... i was thinking of switching it out with the head of the older one with the bad leg.... however wouldn't that make him no longer MOC, if i removed him from his package?

I believe everyone has them in stock... i bought the case of 8, ill probably sell off the other 2 extras... im also curious how this "ultimate" spidey figure will compare to pizza/Ramos spidey.

So a couple of things. First off, not a single seller at Denver Comic Con has Wave 2 of the Cap wave. Da fuq????????????????

Captain America from the Red Onslaught wave and Captain America from the Winter Soldier/Mandroid wave. Not exactly high demand figures I think. Plus I'm in Australia so shipping is killer anywhere but here which limits the market.

BBTS is excellent for full cases, but can be hit-or-miss with hard-to-find individual Legends figures, so I was shocked to see they had him in stock, and for only $20.99

The Superior figure was based on Humberto Ramos' art, and he always drew the weblines on the mask offset and asymmetrical. What your seeing is actually intentional.
Only commenting because I've used the Superior Spidey body for a crapload of customs, and they're all painted like that.

Just a heads up,I've noticed there are some listings on Ebay for "KO" or bootleg Pizza Spideys for around $17 - $20,may be a nice alternative to the $40 real ones.

I just got 2 brand new ones... i think my hunt for superior is now complete lol

when i first saw the i laughed because i said...that's funny how he has the cheese dripping off his chin...
Now as i look closer i think that's actually just light...lol..but it looks like dripping cheese...how apropos

so i've been painting today..something i was going back and forth with deciding if i wanted to get into it....painting a lot of weapons..okay..whatever....
but my "holy shit" point came when i dry-brushed for the first time...it took all of 2 minutes...and was AMAZING looking....man..almost every damn thing painted should be dry-brushed..

Glad I could help pal. They really are stupid easy to make. I have an all black one for Venom as well. I have seen some videos of advanced techniques based on the same method to make the impact webbing balls but have not tried those.

I fully agree. Dry brushing adds such an amazing level of detail it's insane. Of course then your customs with dry brushed details look out of place with the super plain paint on Hasbro figures. My poor Deadpool is all alone Lol.

He only drew the upgraded Superior costume with the funky lines. His standard Spidey had a normal line pattern (thank goodness =).

i want a rebooted Todd mcfarlane one .... maybe i dunno , be nice , might be likely as well ,they will run out of ideas .... on different uni-forms

I know he did the entire 2014-2015 series of Marvel now spider-man. it took some getting used to. Ramos usually does more cartoony art IMO. i like him but he's no mcfarlane.

Finally got a hold of the Arnim Zola, and at a great price. I had been going nuts trying to find this version at a sane price, but he apparently is a bit rare, as opposed to the Red Skull variant that seems to be so popular and can be found all over ebay. I still will have to paint the camera eye yellow or gold, but I'm excited to finally have him regardless!
