Quick question: the high price on Ebay should be a hint enough, but I'm asking anyway: is the Joe Colton (Bruce Willis GI Joe) still available in some places like Toysrus? Do you think my friend in NY who is not very aware of toys stuff could find me one without going on an extensive hunt?

Glad to see you finally got it.

Was there a need for that? Maybe English isn't his first language. I know a lot of French Canadians talk like that. I'm sure it just has something to do with the word structure from the language they were originally taught. Also, people make mistakes.

salsa4datass 08-20-2013 06:07 PM

^ agreed! I thought that was rude as well...

Uncalled for Bub, He's from France and tries his best to speak OUR language...Try going on a French board and speaking their language and let us know how that works out for you...

Technically, in the context he used, it would be "has grown" so stop being a douche and check yourself before you shrek yourself.

Exactly! I'm sick of these grammar gestapos.

kylactus 08-20-2013 08:39 PM

Look guys I'm living in the south, if minor grammar infractions bother you that badly I recommend you stay on campus at Yale, I hear the sentence "If y'all yanks is go'in yonder fer supper wu'cha bother fetch'in some cold drank?" at least twice a day.

A wrestling fan! YAY!

I find it funny how the basic figures for the Divas have the same articulation as the Elite ones. I'd only ever buy an Elite Diva for the belt (i.e Kelly Kelly and Trish Stratus).

Goldengreg 08-21-2013 01:07 AM

Whoa I didn't knew my bad spelling would upset a grumpy Arker, sorry for that!
Thanks to everyone for their patience and support to decipher my babbling though!
But more important, thanks for the friendship!

Iceman : yes they did Canada USA Japan then France! Since they've been manufactured in china they might have some nasty miles on their flying card now haha! Thanks for deal!

really? I thought the wrists of the Elite Girls were articulated. I haven't bought one lately, but I have WWE girls with wrist articulation (I just can't recall which box they came out of)

Technically, no. In the context he used, it could have gone either way.

Either way growed isn't a word, and just because someone doesn't speak good English or write good English isn't a good excuse. Get off the damn phone and go brush up on your English.

bmorr 08-21-2013 06:40 AM

fosterlager 08-21-2013 08:13 AM

Answering your question, the Joe Colton is near impossible to find in the wild, however, there's supposed to be a new batch coming out in Sept, as a matter of fact, you can order him from Hasbrotoyshop.com

G.I. Joe at HasbroToyShop.com | G.I. JOE RETALIATION JOE COLTON FIGURE Product Details

He's supposed to ship about 9/30.

Serendipitous find the other night. Still need the GB Man, Elf and Yeti...but these few will suffice for now as I'm sure, before too long, they will be popping up EVERYWHERE...

This sounds like an excellent idea to me.

Really? Never knew he was that rare. I picked him up when he first hit and saw several at my local Walmart. I had guessed that no one wanted him, even though he makes a great John McClane figure. *shrug*

I been looking for the new lego series, where you find them?? I need like 3 or 4 Tiki guys and that gingerbread man :-)

scottmurdock 08-21-2013 04:08 PM

@Goldengreg - I saw that COlton available as a pre-order on BBTS for $10. You may want to see if someone here on TA or that buddy of yours can pick one up for you. As far as availability at retail, I haven't seen him in months.
