I feel like I'm missing one or two though.

cool....thanks. This is a figure I though was crap on the pegs..Now that I have it..I really like this thing. I think it's a decent buck too...though I'm sorta new to knowing them..

I'd like to have him...plus there is a head cast floating around out there of the Netflix Purple man. Easy custom.

Otherwise, it's to the aftermarket with ye.

How would you even begin to know what's fair to pay for something like this. ?? I mean ...6 figures is $120.00/base...this being exclusive and all....sheesh...220.00 easy????

Only variation I could see would be redoing her legs in flesh-tone rather than the pants/tights/leggings she's sporting.

IIRC, that new Dormammu keeps the same color scheme, it just has a more metallic purple and brighter red.

I'm sure Hasbro could figure out some way to do some slight variation for Enchantress. I can't imagine they'd have a majorly fan-requested character like Enchantress totally limited to an exclusive convention box set.

Wow. Abomination, Sandman, and Enchantress are figs I could see getting recirculated via future waves...I hope Sandman gets properly accessorized...and thank goodness Purple Man is...purple.

That Grim Reaper is pretty awesome, isn't it? That expression on his face is of pure insanity lol.

And I'd absolutely love if they used this buck for Luke Cage in the future. I think it works out quite well.

warmachine6 06-21-2016 03:21 PM

if thats a todd mcfarlane spiderman then dang it , going via the eye
i think sandman might be using the same body as absorbing man maybe
abomination is one i want mostly
enchantress eh i dunno though would be awesome if she was sold single
dread knight & purple man is a surprise
overall it is a nice set, not sure on it

though we might get another one like last year with ant-man. So who knows

If Enchantress is the low point for you I am sure you will be able to find someone who will split the wave. I suspect she is the main draw for most people.

Byrnes 06-21-2016 03:24 PM

You can easily make Enchantress with Scarlet Witch. Or I can do it for you also if you don't paint.

Here is an older one I did.

And here is a newer one I'm working on. This is an older picture, I'm just about done with her. Should have a new pic up soon.

I guess that's the exclusive for SDCC.... im only interested in spider-man and sandman. i might try grabbing a box when they get thrown on to the hasbro shop.

So that means we have something else to look forward with unveiling.

Captain Nash 06-21-2016 03:26 PM

Well to be fair, it looks like that is what Hasbro did as far as I can tell. Not that many of us were likely expecting otherwise. It was kind of a no brainer reuse of the mold.

warmachine6 06-21-2016 03:29 PM

thinking about it some of these may get re-released or different versions look at the book of the vashanti...
Dornammu for dr stranges movie BAF
Hela , is going to be in thor 3 , so they can re-use that mold etc
dr stranges movie astral form is being released though movie version.
and brother voo doo is going with dr strange movie wave
so might be re-releases
only exclusive is Magik, which she might get released if sooner or later via the x-men wave ....

EDIT- looks like they were held in the RAFT due to the prison like cells

SymbiSpidey 06-21-2016 03:33 PM

So I'm guessing we can expect official photos this upcoming Thursday, correct? I was wondering why we didn't even get so much as rumors up until now.

Yup, I agree. The only figs likely to remain 'exclusive' are Purple Man, Dreadknight (still amazed...who's next? Super Adaptoid?), and Spidey.

Damn...interesting idea SS. I have that Luke headcast ..and an extra Grim Reaper body.. I'm gonna see what it looks like together (cause Luke got a big ass head..it was too big for a demo man body)

Interesting, glad it's a set that I'm not dying to get though which is great for my wallet.

Most likely but that's including shipping since these things are a pain to ship out due to the size and dimensions of the box. Give it a year or so later then it'll triple though. Most of these Legends SDCC exclusives rarely drop back down in the aftermarket.

That's only the Vishanti set though isn't it? The X-Force only got 2 repaints which was Wolverine and Archangel. Thunderbolts and the Inhuman set those characters haven't been released in a different format have they? But I can see the Vishanti being re relased but the box for it is undeniably the better of all the legends set that have came out.

Veronica Mars 06-21-2016 04:06 PM

I'm just gonna leave this Sersi custom I I just finished here ;)

Noted...

ultraman zoffy 06-21-2016 04:11 PM

Haha, man.... that set is definitely a "Oh snap, we forgot about SDCC this year! Throw some pending characters in a box and stamp it exclusive!" effort. Well played, Hasbro. =)

Darn right it is, and quite a disappointing one at that... Which I couldn't be happier about! Did not need the SDCC strain on the wallet, and with Enchantress being the only real want for me in this set, it's an easy pass.

It's a shame Sandman wasn't better handled. If he'd have come with any accessories, at the expense of the Todd McSpidey repaint, it could have been a set I'd invest in.

The main thing, though, is that Captain Nash finally has Amora! It's taken bloody long enough.

Amora and (possibly) Polaris, if the rumors are true. I hope the X-wave 2 will be revealed at SDCC. If so it's going to be the best SDCC reveals year for me ever...much better than every year only seeing 1-2 figures I am excited about (despite buying so much more than that.)

I can however, see me scaling back after the proposed Wolverine wave, if all of these rumors turn out to be true..yeah I say that now but...not....

Side question: if we do get Polaris and Enchantress both I have no idea who the next most widely requested figure is, as those two have pretty much topped the list of most wanted for years now...who would it be (this would be for never released figures not redos)

VonPooten 06-21-2016 04:47 PM

Monica Rambeau? :D Come on, Hasbro. It's been long enough.

Sauron, possibly?

That's a good enough guess. I wonder if Madrox or Songbird might also be highly requested. I can't imagine anything else in my top 10, despite having some popular characters, would be to that extent. It's just weird synergy how my top 2 most wanted seemed to be from what I could tell the overall top 2 most wanted...from here on out my wants are probably going to veer off quite a bit from mainstream.

But yeah Monica R would be awesome, she's close to top 10 for me. I would love to have her made in either her classic iconic outfit or, if that's too difficult, the Spectrum outfit, which I also found myself liking quit a bit. Man if they made her, she's like the only major classic Avenger that hasn't ever been done before, right?

@SymbiSpidey, love the Sauron idea, just can't get around the fact he'd had to be a BAF, since that is definitely a one use mold. I tend to forget to add him...but yeah he's a possibility!

Veronica Mars 06-21-2016 04:57 PM

I'm still hoping for Julia Carpenter Spider Woman/Arachne

Yeah Madrox would certainly be in the top five in terms of new characters.

As for classic Avengers... I guess Sersi (as seen above in a very nice custom form!). Black Knight has been done before. Jocasta, perhaps? Firestar? I agree that Songbird would also be high up, along with a few other Thunderbolts.

Now, X-Men BAFs should be a whole other category. Nimrod, Shadow King, Amahl Farouk (based on a Kingpin mold), Strong Guy, Rockslide, Predator X, a suped-up Bastion, Cho'd.... Heck, even Glob Herman... or Nanny? :P

Agreed. After they did Miles I figured Kamala had to be close behind.
