I just want a blade head so that I can throw it on whatever I fancy.

Does anyone on here sell a cast or do I have to pay $20+ from one of the more well known casters?

I cast myself and I'm very trustworthy if anyone wants to send me the head to cast for myself, I would also make copies for cheap as in shipping to anyone that wants one if I can get my hands on one...

I like KenM's Blade because it is an exact approximation of the unreleased fig...

But I prefer (slightly) Trivial's version because it looks as a I would imagine a modern Blade would...

Both are very slick though.

I'm only fooling on the credit thing. Honestly, I don't care if it gets jacked, as long as it helps people fill a hole in their collection, it's fine by me. It is a really simple custom to put together that honestly just about anyone can put together, regardless of your talent with a paintbrush, which is probably why I dig my own so much.

Although BM...I haven't seen those insta-Blade customs you were mentioning, although I keep seeing those really bad ones using the Agent Venom body minus all the gear...most don't even come with a sword...wtf?

I still feel like my custom is incomplete. I've been going crazy trying to find a belt for him that I feel works. I'm thinking the one from Machine Man would look good, but I'm unwilling to buy the guy just so I can loot the belt, as I really have no other interest in that figure. Anyone out there have one that they would be willing to sacrifice?

Yeah, dude. Literally the same weekend from a pretty popular (to me) custom guy on eBay. It sold quickly and was replaced with another replica from another eBay scamp...but yeah, it's petty to get too upset about imitation, especially if you share it on the intertubes to begin with...it's not like these are IP's we're talking about.

I am game for $6 I just know a lot of casters charge an arm and a leg to ship an arm and a leg!

I'm not knocking them as most have a plethora to choose from and some of them send out factory looking parts so you get what you pay for. I'm just not in dire need for a Blade, but would like to be able to add him at some point.

Hmmm... how much work does one have to do on the sockets of those clayorrnot heads? I'm thinking "Bruce" might be what I'm looking for to give Havok an unmasked head, but I'm guessing by the name, it's designed to fit DC figures?

well i'm brand BRAND new at this..so ya learn by experience..

1. all heads were NOT the same size.(duh lol) Cage's head was huge, Scorpion's head was small. So it seems, which makes logical sense, that most casts are the actual size of the original figure..unless they state otherwise.

2. The "peg/post-hole sizes are ALL over the place. A dremel is your friend here. In fact, the Cage head had NO hole...I talked to dude and was like..uhh..what am i supposed to do with this?? Him = blah blah blah. But this was before i learned the wonders of the multipurpose dremel.

Ok, another Spiderman themed set! I can't wait for better pics and maybe some reviews to see if want this. Love that there will be a new Shocker and the Black Spiderman is always a welcomed addition. And, the SDCC set looks very interesting! Grabbed me ML Wolverine from the X-Men set on pre order today, have a feeling this wave will catch fire and there will not hit stores so quickly and the scalpels are in the bushes waiting for this wave to be released...lol...Dying to see that new Abomination, Sandman, and Enchantress in better pictures...

As if that new costume on Spidey wasn't terrible enough, translated onto the Hasbro figure, it ends up looking like a really bad custom. The Iron Man isn't much better. Glad that I'm passing on both actually.
