bwaaahaaaa...

Ha ha. I remember when Battlestar went by Bucky and someone had to have a chat with him about that term. I think it was the captain storyline and it was actually a pretty damn good graphic novel.

as for that dio.... It's not inspiring and very unimaginative, much like blight gall... I meant Dwight stall damn auto correct.

Spider Man 3 Venom figure

Hey guys, remember the Spider Man 3 Venom figure that was around 5" tall? I found him loose on eBay for only $9.99 with free shipping. I know he technically isn't in the 3.75" scale but I use him in that scale for my collection and if anybody else would like to experiment with him in this scale, this is your chance. I'll post pictures of my Venom figure against other figures that are actually in the 3.75" scale for comparison.

I have him in my dio too with the classics Mac Gargan venom. They aren't 1:18th scale, but they do fit in pretty nice for being larger.

Yup. I was kind of bothered by how he was a little too big, but I went through with it because I really love Spider Man 3 despite all the hate it got.

Ninjinister 07-10-2015 06:45 PM

That looks really good! Adding it to my list of "figures I need" lol

If it was cheaper I would buy that for sure.

He wants $35 + shipping for it. I'd say that's not a bad deal at all.
But I have no interest in symbiotes outside of Mac Gargan Venom in Dark Avengers

Very interesting. My hat's off to Shartimus Prime for giving us a voice. Hopefully the message is received.

I'm glad they got called out but there was a lot of dancing around the questions and he passed the buck (no pun intended) to mike. Well we will see what Saturday brings, but I feel like shartimus' criticisms are valid and need to be voiced.

I see where his comments were coming from, but it was handled as best as it could be. The answer was pretty much on how they've been trying to balance new pieces, mold re-usage, and other aspects to still keep it at a reasonable price point with rising plastic costs.

Looking forward to what's being shown at the panel though. Stall seems more versed in legends while Mike was more in the know on infinite. That's not uncommon if one of them handles it more than the other on the company side. Glad to hear it's not going away though and is here to stay. Wonder what the big news is going to be, and hopefully they got some prototypes to show off in slides still that we haven't seen yet.

Keeping my fingers crossed for All-New Wolverine at the minimum, but I have a feeling they might be diving in headfirst entirely on All-New Marvel with what they've shown so far. Seems like they are trying to get the releases more up to date. So really hoping there's a Spider-Gwen and Kate Bishop in that lineup too. They did already start the young avengers awhile back with Patriot anyway.

Agent Venom would be sweet as well if they finally show him. Keeping my fingers crossed for some big exciting news. Heck, I'd even be excited for a carnage repack from the spidey line.

ukmu 07-11-2015 03:54 AM

I think we will get all new current stuff, and proper silver age stuff. I don't see ANY X-Men stuff, save for the three we have seen for more than a year. (NYTF 14 to be exact) There will be a big push to Secret Wars, both 1984 and the current run. I would also think there will be some key repacks they won't tell us about. My prediction.....

I hope for:
Hell Cat
Quasar
Coulson

Pretty sure Abengers.are done.for awhile so no on the top two but maybe some cosmic and marvel knights.stuff?

Where has this talk of a Coulson come from? I heard he and Agent Venom were top of a poll.

Goldengreg 07-11-2015 06:08 AM

The Spidey Noir reminded me of the green cargo pants-Snake Eyes from GI Joe... You could just put a Venom head on him and have a better-articulated one. :)
It's so easy to do that I always wondered why they didn't put a Venom head on a Joe buck to release an easy agent Venom.

That's not a bad idea. They usually don't swap around parts from different brands before but since they used both GI Joe and Marvel Universe parts for SDCC Ant-Man, why not? Heck, we've been integrating different toylines for our collections, why not theirs now?
