I would say that the original comic TMNTs should be about chest height to an average sized man.

After watching people playing Marvel Crisis Protocol on youtube, I was wondering if it could be done using Marvel 3 3/4" figures. Found this playkidz garbage truck on amazon that scales well. Doors open and you can also squeeze figures into the seats. The Bruder vehicles look better, but are much more expensive. Any other suggestions for vehicles for obstacle scatter that scales well? Trying to find an inexpensive tanker truck to stick an Oscorp logo on.

Just found a guy in facebook which is making several 3D model figures. This is some of his latest work.

I asked him to do an Iron Heart model by the way :)

They're from Epoch.

I used to get them from Toy Santa through Rakuten, but Rakuten is closing their Global Market in a couple of days. Still have to figure out how to get future releases.

Rage has a vest. I'mma need sleeves. Is MCU Starlord really that beefy? I don't remember.

i wish she was cheaper because she's do for a pretty good x-men base, the head sculpt is perfect for Armor

Newer Fortnite figures

middle fig would be really cool if she was taller, for bulky muscly figures. would work for my frenzy maybe.

Madame Warlock 06-28-2020 07:52 PM

What's the best action figure line for relatively basic bodies to custom from? I like to use fairly generic Marvel Universe figures or whatever I can get my hands on, and generally just sculpt everything else(I now have the option of 3D printing though, since I'm not great at sculpting).

It's not remotely cost effective to use the Boss Fight blanks when outside of the US as I could probably buy 3 MUs for that. I really, really wanted the blue one to make a custom Transonic, so that sucks.

Shipping is really killing this hobby to me. I was settled in to 3D printing figurines, but I'm now in the position where I've gotten pretty heavily into X-men stuff that there's nothing really available to print that doesn't require me to effectively remodel it. I did that for Bling and I'm kind of proud of my work, but also I feel like I'll probably end up making a proper Bling! custom at some point.

are there any cheap see-through figures I could use for an Invisible Woman stand in?

Boss Fight does clear blanks.

Not really cheap, though.

Ninjinister 10-06-2020 02:27 AM

Was there never any female Socket Poppers/Connectors? I wanna make Cyphr Wolfchild from Schwarzerblitz with the robot's arms as detachable but that seems to have been thrown into chaos with the lack of a female in the line :|

Look at Microman *sister" figures- they tend to be a bit short but not off scale- more like short women or girls.
They come in various clear colors.
Aside from that, it's Bossfight when they do their 20% off sale around Christmas.

Has anybody have the Dragon Stars Martial Arts Tournament playset? Looks a bit undersized even for the intended figures. But how would it fare for our scale?

uberlad 11-03-2020 08:17 PM

I’m not a huge western guy. With that said, I recently dipped my toe in the western waters to build a Lone Ranger custom. The Dime Novel Legends/ Kentucky Fried Toys western line has a ton of cool figures. Has anyone ever explicitly listed who the figures are referencing?

Infinite heroes Supergirl is the only one off the top of my head. It is a bit stylized.

The movie version Scarlet Witch has a skirt. I think the girls from the Harry Potter line wear skirts... probably a few Dr. Who characters too.
