I still need to pick up a dark galactus myself.

I'm getting a bit worried about new MU too.
I still need to get the quicksilver wonderman comic pack, but I NEED beast, jubilee and Nova. I can't wait for those three.

No kidding, I've had to get my Prime stuff from there and it seems like the shipping costs the same as buying from Asia.

Needless to say if there's even the slightest bit of tension I will dip in hot water.

That's why I'm kind of glad I'm a MOC collector.

Ditto, wonder why this next wave is taking forever, when the ML stuff seems to be coming out faster.

SH0CKWAVE 02-22-2012 10:40 PM

oh geez. the worry warts come out in force again. when will you people learn?

remember ML was in hibernation for who knows how long.

Ya I know, I guess it's cool, cause I'll probably use my Ebay bucks to purchase the next wave like I did last time.

Have you considered some off a star wars geonosian figure?

BTW figure looks great!

Veronica Mars 02-23-2012 12:54 AM

I have not, I've looked at tinkerbell and Princess What's-her-name from earthworm Jim

ML wasn't in hibernation. It was DEAD. Only kept on life support via movie 6'' figures randomly.

The fact it's back is great for those collectors, but make no mistake, it is starting over entirely.

MU I don't think will be canceled, but the pace is getting rather slow. I do appreciate it to an extant though. My wallet is getting time to prepare with everything that's coming this year and next.

Sometimes the signs are ominous though and can't be ignored. Considering all the new sculpts in MU coming our way it doesn't seem like the signs are there, but with retailer orders and interest being what dictates our access of the line, you never know.

Here's an idea-
Plastic Dragonfly - Dragonfly Replica - Toy Dragonfly

Scythe 02-23-2012 02:57 AM

So, I've decided I wanna frame my first MU figure to go in the toy room the missus and I are building, I'm not really a MOC kinda guy, but it'll add some color to the room. Though the figure I'd like to frame, FOR MURDER, nah, I'm kiddin' ya, can you imagine? Anyhoe, I'm hopin' you Arkers could keep an eye out for a translucent Iron Spidey. I'll love you forever if ya find one for me and if I get it, I'll make sure that somebody in Brazil gets a tattoo sometime within the next four years. I promise!

SWEET! i did one a while ago and i couldnt find no wings either, i go into dollar tree and i found this bug set that came with like 5 flying bugs, and there was a wasp in the set so i took its wings and put them on my fig.http://www.toyark.com/members/fallen.../wasp-1741.jpg

Jason Abbadon 02-23-2012 03:06 AM

Damn! I love that wasp too!
Someone make a Masters of Evil storyline vintage wasp already! that was my favorite costume- from the...er...260's of Avengers.

Poor Jan...her breasts go up or down a cup size or two depending on the artist! Maybe it's the Pym Particles...I always knew Hank had ulterior motives for giving Jan powers...!

I've never seen one but what would be cool would be to carefully open the fig so the card and outer bubble is intact, then take an x-acto to the bubble and pose the fig so it looks like he's ripping out of the bubble, then glue the bubble back onto the card and hang it from a wallslat peg (available at Office Depot or Home Depot).

Also, your wife sounds awesome- she got a sister? A good looking, toy-collecting, nymphomaniac, intelectual sister that wants to move to South Florida?

If so, I call dibs before some scalper nabs her!

Knowing me, I'd probably do that. I got no shame in opening up hard to find or expensive crap. Hahaha.

fallen69lee04 02-23-2012 03:16 AM

NICE! ;D haha.. i need one of those two so maybe a second sister lol, muahahahaha lol. that would be sick tho frameing a fig, never thounght of that one.

Jason Abbadon 02-23-2012 03:17 AM

Spidey's been framed before- he'll be okay.

Awwww...oh well, the Quest continues!

As to that Spidey figure- you'll find it- lots of Arkers have picked that up (though none have hit my area of the country!).

fallen69lee04 02-23-2012 03:26 AM

same here in my area, i think sometimes new york gets all the good stuff befor any other place does,, i walk in target TRU and walmart every day and nothing, i work next to a target and i have a coworker that also works there and im always askin him to check in the back for new hasbro boxes that might contain new figs, lol

Scythe 02-23-2012 03:39 AM

What really sucks was that I was supposed to get my old regular Iron Spidey signed by Michael Turner, but he passed away a few weeks before I was supposed to see him at his booth.

So my new plan is hopefully get Stan Lee's John Hancock. I was able to get Adam West's, that dude's great, he hit on me, but Lee has evaded me time and time again.
