I would actually consider getting it if you're even a little on the fence about it. It actually has more articulation than the All father Wave Thor funny enough. And it looks fantastic. |
Whoever said Richard Rider needs to come back is alright by me. I miss that dude.

I definitely think Jane Foster is the only character who could have been this Thor (for story reasons, since it's so compelling that her transformation is neutralising her chemotherapy), but I agree they could have conjured a name for her adjacent to Thor's. It would have avoided the controversy, and the story would be the same. On saying that, a LOT of fan mail in the issues are from women and young girls who feel included in the story and emboldened by its message that a woman can be "Thor," so I can't see a negative in that. The only cheap part of that story is, yes, Fury's Whisper Ex Machina. Little do we know, Thor secretly likes knitting! On a related note, an unworthy Odinson would be a great figure for next year's wave. Though yes, ANY form of Laura would be appreciated, and the new skinny adult body is perfect for her. |

Finally got Storm. I need to iron the cape or something and perhaps use a small blob of blutac on the back of her wris to stop the cape bracelt thing from sliding down her arm, but she is a fantastic figure. |
instead of blutac , get whitetac for it to blend in with the forearms or wrist area
|
Good idea, thanks.

Also, congratulations on the Storm acquisition! She's easily one of the best figures Hasbro's released, even without any sculpt detail. |
Yep, and she has a really dedicated fanbase which counts for a lot, Marvel pay a lot of attention to the number of cosplayers and questions about chararacter at cons as well as just sales figures apparently, its one reason Captain Marvel has a higher profile than her sales figures might seem to justify at times. I think the same was true of Hawkeye, very dedicated fanbase.
Thanks, it wasn't cheap and I was worried I'd be disappointed when she got her but no, its a fantastic figure. It shows what they can do with a new head and a smart use of paint. |

I want (if there is one) in the next spiderman wave after space venom a new Scorpion or Shocker figure from hasbro!

It's funny you bring up Scorpion. For some reason there are a handful of characters I ALWAYS forget exist when I'm making lists or mentioning absences in the line up. I mentioned a few pages back that Jackal is the only remaining major SM villain missing, of course that's not true because Scorpion is also a pretty big deal, and is much needed. |

Edit: bring back Richard Rider STAT. |
I'm not an expert, but that Abomination is not it, folk! Hasbro, you got to do better than that to get my wallet. To me, I will keep my ML Toybiz Abomination and variant. This is the point I was trying to get across to some on this sight. Yes, I'm a fan of ML, but I will not buy every figure because I am a fan and to keep Hasbro's pockets deep...Bump that! I'm no sucker, and and you should not be either. Maybe that is not a legit baf Abomination, but if it is, it is an easy pass...not going to buy something that looks awful...meh!

@AFU
Yup, I agree. It pays to be discriminating in your purchases. It holds Hasbro's feet to the fire and creates a sense of accountability...but damn, I'm so weak when it comes to Marvel figs...I have at least disabused myself of the notion that I must have a wave on day one...it's a start. |

Random appreciation....

So strange how some of these c and d level characters get more sculpting detail than many 'heroes' like Wonder Man, etc... |
