Star-Lord and Thanos' return has been explained as Nova combining the cosmic cube and all of the Nova force to make himself a doorway so they could escape, we're still waiting on someone actually bringing Nova back too.

Yup, then Bendis in typical Bendis fashion wrote some dumb arc to explain how Star Lord (although not his sudden appearance change) and Thanos came back and killed off Rich. Then he started blaming DnA for killing him off, even though Andy Lanning had previously outlined their plan if Marvel Cosmic was not yanked away from them.

I can only imagine what awesome stories and perhaps awesome Legends would have come out of what they would have written.

Captain Nash 06-27-2016 02:12 PM

It's fate, a Bendis related post starts out on this page.....I guess I should be nicer but continuity is a thing for me and I hate it when a writer just glaringly ignores it.

Boy Blunder 06-27-2016 02:47 PM

Maybe there should be a rule against mentioning Bendis in this thread XD

Bendis is to comic what uwe boll is to cinema and yoko ono is to music. :) ( and leifield is to drawing feet. Sorry couldn't resist a leifield dig. )

Bendis ignoring continuity is kinda his deal. When he wrote what happened after the Cancerverse closed off it made no sense. At the end of Thanos Imperative it is stated that the universe is ending and Death has once again become a permanence, yet when Bendis picks things up he brings back the whole undying thing and the universe just stopped collapsing. Another instance is when he wrote that volume of Moon Knight where all of the sudden, out of the blue, Moon Knight had visions of other heroes in his head that he wanted to be. Like he just read Moon Knight is schizophrenic and he interpreted that as "Moon Knight wants to be Captain America, Spider-Man, and Wolverine." Of course Bendis also ruined Scarlet Witch for about five years by by translating instability into insanity.

There should be a rule against Bendis writing for preexisting characters.

Since this is page 666, who else would like a new Legends Mephistopheles? I'd get one, though it would go in my 3.75" display.

I'd like one, though I am content as is with my MS version. Since he's a Hell Lord and has been shown at various sizes, scale is not really a huge issue with him.

I would not say no to a new Blackheart, though I realize how unlikely that woudld be given the...uniqueness of the sculpt.

I'm all for this.

Howzabout a new Son of Satan, too, while we're at it?

They could do a box set of hellstorm satana black heart ( who with a bit of retooling to allow hasbros excuse justification could turn it into wendigo and sasquatch ) nocturne and mephisto.

The Select Mephisto is really cool especially because he has the throne.

After Civil War II #1 I agree completely

Starlord67 06-27-2016 06:18 PM

A defenders boxed set with Son of Satan, Gargoyle, Nighthawk and Devil slayer would rock!!

BAD MOON 06-27-2016 06:26 PM

A new Mephisto is a must! The Select one is good, but the hair bugs me.

Bad Mephisto hair just ruins mah day.

Funny you say this on page 666 :D

Captain Nash 06-27-2016 07:04 PM

While we're it, who would like a Pluto BAF?

for the Hell Lords we only have Hela, Dormuummuu (worse name to spell EVER) and Satannish (all Exclusives), and Mephisto as MS. I imagine that maybe Hasbro is reluctant to release Hell Lords to mass retail and are maybe taking a step in the water with the Dormmmuumu--moo-mo-AURGH BAF.

Pluto though being a God is a little different than an actual Hell Lord. His chances might be slightly higher. I wouldn't count on seeing a Satannish any time soon though. XD

A special thanks to our fellow Arker Boy Blunder for helping me finally track this guy down without resorting to the secondary market nonsense of eBay. You rock man!

Boy Blunder 06-27-2016 09:11 PM

Happy to help out, man! Besides, he's a great figure, and one of the ones that hooked me into this line hardcore, so I gotta help spread the love for Miguel.

Yup. In fact Ms. Marvel's trades have ended up on the New York Times Best Seller's list and they garnered a bunch of awards.

I do always find it a little interesting on figure boards what people consider popular enough (or not) to be worthy of a figure. There have been far less popular characters who have gotten toys even recently (was anyone asking for Red Guardian or the Eel?)

UpDog 06-27-2016 09:18 PM

The completing specific teams problem could be easily remedied by Box Sets.

I'd drop $100 on a Jim Lee/90's x-men set of 5 figures, etc. Work the store exclusives more.

Not until I saw his whacked-out costume, man. That hits my sweet spot alongside the likes of Tiger Shark, Batroc, and DCUC Killer Moth.

hasbroherofan 06-27-2016 09:37 PM

Ha! I stand corrected.

I absolutely love getting the more obscure characters for some reason. I haven't read comics in some time (want to get back into it), but I love learning about Marvel characters I've never heard of before.

Veronica Mars 06-27-2016 11:14 PM

Obscure characterwise I would absolutely love to get a ML version of Turbo from NW

warmachine6 06-28-2016 01:25 AM

im just sitting here waiting till the rest of M.I.13 gets released
varying on characters , waiting for a siyrn to be released or at least announced at a con

VonPooten 06-28-2016 05:28 AM

Just a heads up, guys. My FalCap/Kate Bishop/Vision three pack arrived this morning, and if you can find them in store I strongly suggest some serious QC. The paintwork on Vision's arms isn't great, and the fleshtone on Kate's hips rubs away if you move her legs. Might just be my set, but I'd take precaution.

Other than that, though, they're bloody brilliant figures. Given Red Onslaught Cap is now the defacto figure, it's nice to see the Marvel Now sculpt being used for Sam. Very detailed sculpt, and the plastic parts are the perfect shade. Vision is also a welcome addition, as I approve Daniel Acuna's design. Aside from the paint issues, his face sculpt is superior, imo, to the Avengers AI/Hulkbuster wave fig, and his cape is surprisingly well sculpted? Who'd have thought Hasbro could make me like plastic capes.
Lastly, Kate is wonderful. Only gripe is that the headsculpt could be better. More expression in her face (perhaps a smirk?) would've been ideal, and some windswept hair to give the illusion of movement would have made this figure perfect. On saying that, the new skinny build suits her very well, the waist quiver is a nice tidbit, and the non-purple bow is at least a step up from Hawkeye.

Overall, very happy with them. It's the first 3 pack I've actually wanted, and it doesn't disappoint. There's a hole in the back of the FalCap figure, if you were thinking of using the Civil War wing/jet pack. I might just buy the 12" Titan Falcon though, and use those comic-accurate wings instead.
