Madrox and Madrox family two pack.....is it family or not if they're dupes?

And yes, while i'm happy with my Silver Surfer we absolutely need a Blue Marvel. One of the few newer characters marvel introduced that I have liked. I say go for it!

Captain Nash 07-01-2016 10:39 AM

OMG OMG OMG

Just got the BBTS email the x-men wave is available and processing.

HOT. DIGGITY. DAWG!!!!!!!!

(sorry if I'm freaking out. They said july but well...I expect later july or even later..Not July 1st. I am NOT complaining though.) I'm dancing on the ceiling.

Sweeet!! I want Ice man Havok and Deadpool from that wave.

@Nash

Great news! I haven't gotten my notification yet:mad:, but I'll be looking out for it...damn i thought I was pretty quick on my pre-order commit...dammit Nash, you bumped me out!;)

Does Hasbro not realize how much they stand to make on a Multiple Man 2, 3, or 5-pack?

I would buy multiples of a Multiple Man pack. "Multiple Man, Multiple Man, doing things only a Multiple can!" :D

Actually with the rumored second xwave I'm surprised Madrox is NOT included in it since we are getting some new figures. I would have thought he would have been a priority over Shatterstar for sure. But maybe someone in production likes Shatterstar better. Maybe the parts are easier to reproduce, though I can't imagine making either a classic or modern Madrox would be THAT difficult, it's not like he's Sauron or something.

Trivial Psychic 07-01-2016 10:53 AM

My XMEN wave from BBTS just shipped...just letting you all know! Be on the lookout in your inboxes!

Did it SHIP or just processing payment? Mine is say ing payment has processed and they are processing at the warehouse but not that it's shipped.

Not saying you're lying or anything of course. Just wondering how fast they are putting these through. The sooner the better.

TheBlueMarvel 07-01-2016 10:57 AM

@Nash
Hah!
...and yeah, Blue Marvel is the most thoughtfully created of Marvel's retconned (word? it is now) characters...but I might be a little biased;)

Edit: Dammit! Et tu Trivial!...I'm happy for you lugs lol

OMG. Same country colors. I think I just found a real use for this figure.

You're knocking these references out at a very good rate, Nash! Dirty Peter David and his selfcest musings... (unless you're not referencing that X-Factor scene, in which case, carry on :p )

You and Trivial are lucky buggers. Hoping Kapow sends an email re: the X-Men wave sooner rather than later, although it is irksome that their stock is selling out like nobody's business. I assume non-UKers might buy from their site because they put waves up early on? It backfires on us Brits, though, because that is the ONLY UK-based store where you can preorder a whole case of new figures and not get them 6 months late..

P.S. I'd also appreciate Namora, Crimson Dynamo, Darkstar and Korvac figures, and would purchase an Emplate BAF at the drop of a hat. Hasbro have made strides regarding villain releases, but there are dozens and dozens more still to go.

Nothing before a damn Monica Rambeau figure, though. Come hell or high water, that figure shall be made!

SymbiSpidey 07-01-2016 12:05 PM

Yup, got the email from BBTS too.

A fresh, new X-Men wave, and right before San Diego Comic Con. July is looking great.

Waiting in the warehouse as it was part of a larger pile of loot, but will probably ship out Tuesday due to the holiday weekend.

There's always a few I forget about, and it often seems to be the ones at the top of my list as Mysterio is right in the top 5. I would really love to have the original Sinister Six team even though I grew up on the team that featured Hobgoblin as part of it.

Yeah the sinister Six would be awesome maybe release them in a multipack or something like that. I use to watch the animated spiderman series the one from the early 90's thats when i got hooked on spidey Villains.

I got mine coming too! Woohoo!

Hemanguy 07-01-2016 01:42 PM

I hate the weeks before SDCC. I collect ML, Joe, Star Wars and WWE figs.....I need some good breaking news today lol. It goes to quiet this time of year lol

Kirathis 07-01-2016 02:46 PM

Hrm yeah still thinking Wonder Man is the best of the bunch. Surprisingly I actually really like the Cap. Maybe Braddock. The rest are meh.

Nice to hear so many orders are shipping. I am about at the point of just buying the cases again just to avoid the headache.

Gotcha, thanks. I never did the POL as the situation I thought might happen this month did not arise, so I expect mine will also probably ship early next week. That will be one big wave down for me to not have to worry about during relocation time, oh yeah.

Three weeks to SDCC and we're now hitting prime time! And of course in another two months we'll likely be in another drought until the end of the year, but honestly, as long as they stuff we get is good, and it appears to be, it's fine by me.

richaveli83 07-01-2016 04:03 PM

Well just got the email from EE telling me what I already know that my order is back ordered. It sucks because I had a preorder with BBTS the day they became available but cancelled it when the pre orders became available on Amazon Prime. Now I'm seeing people getting shipping notices from BBTS. It also sucks that I was one of the first orders on Dorkside within minutes of availability but I won't be apart of the first orders shipped. I'm happy that everyone is getting their orders within the next week or so. This should let Hasbro know demand for X-men figures is very real and we hopefully get at least one wave a year. I can't wait to see the pictures you guys post!

Awww that sucks. Sorry man. In generality I do not trust the dates for preorders from Amazon, even though I will often link to them because it does give a buyable place once they do come in stock. I do not think for one second these will be in stock with Amazon directly on August 1st, maybe third parties though. And just my practice but if I preorder something I do not cancel that preorder unless I see another place has it in stock already - no telling who is going to get their preorders in first, and I'm betting most preorders are filled by sell date. I may be making exceptions to that this year due to relocation but that's something I do not look forward to. I'd rather just preorder and be done with it.

Have faith though, even if you don't get the wave right away, I think it's going to be a HUGE seller and Hasbro will want to maximize on that and likely will redistribute them. That will be good for those who do miss out, but also for future X-waves. In fact I'm betting this will be the best selling wave they have since the ROML, due to the near total lack of X-Men figures in the last four years (what two exclusive waves and then one figure a year otherwise, ever since the Jean Grey, Archangel, Fantomex, Wolverine and Deadpool figures?) Hell last year the only X-related character was in the SDCC pack -- ridiculous. So glad to see we are headed into brighter times. While I love all of Marvel the X-related stuff is where I am truly at home, and it was hard to be positive about the line when there pratically no X representation.

I'm okay with a drought, because the next two upcoming waves are pretty good as well, and will probably hold less of a demand than this X-men one, allowing my wallet to catch a break for the time being.

True but....for obvious reasons if the rumors are true (and I have to keep reminding myself of that so I don't internally meltdown), the next X-wave is what I want to get to. The sooner this stuff can get out, the sooner we can get to that!

ANd ya'll, if I say anything crazy tonight it is because we had a half day at work and I wanted to drink a little. Then I found out my dad has cancer for the third time, and I now I want to drink a LOT.

donmeca2020 07-01-2016 05:37 PM

Well guys, after getting my signatures for my comics today, i took a real quick walk around, i happen to see alot of legends floating around SuperCon however they were all the ones i already own, and alot of the even older ones that have come out through out the years.

redfox 07-01-2016 09:18 PM

Glad to see the X-wave starting to ship! Feels like I've been on the edge of my seat for a year waiting for these. Wonder how long until they make it to retail.

hitman2099 07-01-2016 09:25 PM

When?

When the hell is the Civil War wave hitting retail? I keep circling Walmart, Target, TRU, KMART. I go early and predictably on shipment days. Why do I not see this wave and I'm still seeing the Red Onslaught and Rhino Waves?

When? Are they not distributing it? The movie isnt even in theatres anymore. Are they waiting for the bluray release this September?

I went and bought the xmen wave on preorder because I'm tired of waiting, I just save more money on retail with store cards or store sales.

I hope they go full (current) Ultimates roster, because I'm really enjoying that comic!

As far as I know Kapow doesn't sell outside of the EU any more.
And I can't speak for many other EU countries, but the Netherlands doesn't even have a Kapow. Was always glad to shop there for full cases, but with the impending changes, I wonder if I will still be able to. I sure as %$#@ won't be paying import charges for something that can practically be thrown across the pond.

Did you get a message concerning the X-wave from Dorkside?

Please feel free to go crazy and drink safely!
My father just beat (for as long as that will last) cancer last year.
I wish you and yours all the best.

Smart move, because as far as I know it was mostly online stores that placed orders at Hasbro, with the big chains not all that interested in an X-wave. The production numbers might be limited due to lack of big store orders.
