Going off topic, I have two questions. So, first of all, for those of you guys who have Blade, what are some of the poses you were able to get him into. I received mine in the mail last week but I'm having a hard time getting him into a good pose.
Secondly, what would you guys consider some of the rarest 3 3/4" Marvel figures? I'm trying to do a rare hunt.

not sure what the best course of action would be to avoid it.ive figs stored away,no sunlight can get at them yet they turned slightly yellow.
UKMU posted a few vids showing how to clean up yellowing figures a while ago.

Blade's articulation is limited so I was never able to get him in super crazy dynamic poses. Vision of course is rare along with Maria Hill, Firestar, and those variants like Havok, astral strange, Osborn unmasked patriot and exclusives like XForce Archangel. Are you talking single carded or all (team packs/exclusives)? Rogue fetches a pretty penny too, so does Prof X. I probably wouldn't spend more than $25 for any of those figures, especially Vision. He is a great looking figure but they are releasing him again on that lame buck but the buck they used on the first one wasn't all that great either IMO. Unless you are a MOC collector and don't plan on opening him I wouldn't bite (which is gonna probably set you back at least $150.)

Ha ha I am really liking Secret Wars so far, especially Future Imperfect and Old Man Logan, great time to jump back on the comic wagon for those on the fence!

Anyone know a cheaper alternative to the Rock? He goes for $20 odd on the bay.

i like this one...showdown spidey, holds that classic feel and has articulated areas that the latest stuff doesnt have!get this one if you can.plus its closer to parkers physical look than most of the universe-infinite spideys!

I had this spidy unfortunately his body just kept falling apart. He was worse than the life alert lady.

Kernel 07-26-2015 11:21 AM

It's amazing that we still don't have a really good classic spiderman. They are releasing one in the 2 pack with the Kain scarlet spider, but it's going to be on that super bright plastic with the new buck. Looking at the prototype pic I'm not even sure they will bother to paint the web lines.

They look to have brought back the great articulation to a lot of the figures with some great characters and the comic two packs, to me it looks like Hasbro are being serious again with the 3.75 figures instead of some of the crap we got from this years waves.

Another thing when it showed the 3.75 they were branded as Legends are they changing the branding again for the smaller figures?

Only thing i didn't like was the video of the official slideshow presentation i watched had the official guy speaking introduce the 3.75 stuff by saying "now we've got the 6 inch out of the way lets get onto the good stuff" with a bit of a jeer behind it sounded a bit mocking and taking the piss, might be me though being paranoid.

I just got around to watching the videos of the presentation. There was a 6" doll collector :p who thanked them for not concentrating on happy meal toys lol. It was funny to see how stand offish dwight stall was with shartimus and how nice he was with Pixel Dan (primarily a 6" collector). dwight is a troll to proper 3.75" collectors in every way. I am excited for that She Thor, she can do things with Mjolnir that Odin Son could not...Seriously and I did not mean that in a dirty way ha ha.

ukmu 07-26-2015 11:25 AM

Giggitty!!!!

UrsaMagnus 07-26-2015 12:28 PM

Regarding the Shartimus' interview with Stall, I don't think Shart's cutting his hair like that did his professionalism any favors.

Unrelated, the more I research and look at that Doctor Who "Face of Boe" figure, the more jealous I am that we don't have a Supreme Intelligence.

Same here! I'm about to get a picture frame and print up a pic of one just to fill the void for now

Hasbro actually did a decent job sculpting the details but I could not wait to open up my paints and get detailing :D

Does the green colour change make him more desirable? If I cared at all for a Kree display over the Face of Boe as is, I'd crack him open and actually repaint him.

not sure I just want a simple piece for display and what's the point of s color printer if you can't use it to make cheapmdio pieces. At least imho it is

Zemo is missing his sword, but here's a Masters of Evil set ending soon if anybody is looking for Tiger Shark and Radioactive man for decent prices

Marvel Universe SDCC Masters of Evil Tigershark Baron Zemo Radioactive Man | eBay

I did bid on it ($40 max) but if any of y'all want it I'll back off entirely. Not really a must have for me.

UrsaMagnus 07-26-2015 02:09 PM

Yeah, I'm going to jump on that. The fact that Radioactive Man and Tiger Shark are missing from my shelf drives me bonkers.

Also, I wasn't thrilled with the Hasbro Thunderstrike so I used him for parts on a surplus Thor body. The head sits a little high, but I'm pleased with the overall end result.

On mine, I have him on a balcony-like piece of molding sample leftover from a long time ago I painted white, and put one arm outstretched holding his gun with him standing sideways, and the other arm reaching for his sword that's in the coat top cut. I'll try to get a pic of it later to show what I mean.

I think I know what you mean, but I'd still like to see the picture if you could find it. I'm kind of scared to put a sword in the back of my Blade's coat because I feel like something could go wrong. I did, however, do it with my Punisher along with a Big Hero 6 Yokai coat, and a gun that I got from a weapon lot, and the finishing product looks fan-friggin-tastic!

Sorry for the blurry picture btw.

Kamatayan 07-26-2015 03:19 PM

Oh my God! An unopened Kidpool, Lady Deadpool, and Championpool are on eBay and the highest bid right now is $31! I'm not planning to buy it because I'm focusing on Anti-Venom, but I wanna get the word out! SDCC 2013 Exclusive Marvel Guero Taqueria Taco Truck Deadpool Corps Figures | eBay

The World of Nintendo 4.5" figure line Link is way shorter than I expected. I'm really happy about it. This picture shows how tall it is compared to some MU figures. I'm definitely going to pick this guy up when I can now! And maybe I can sneak it into an Asgard lineup that I'm planning to do...

Could have him in a arrow tournament with Hawkeye and other arrow shooters

Whelp, it's up to $48 now, so it looks like I won't be getting it after all. Ah, well. The irritation continues.

That's actually a great idea for a setup. I'm all up for unusual setups. I'm planning on doing a 3 3/4" bar. Maybe I could even do something based off the HISHE Hero/Villain Bars O_o

He was quite plentiful around here for $5. I'm not sure if there are any left.
