Interesting that the Cap figures are cheaper then the Spidey ones, glad I got mine at Target though, and of course the hot ones are sold out.

Maverick 01-07-2014 10:01 AM

That was fast they were all still up when I posted. Glad I ordered them when I did.

Got the Superior Spider-Man today. Really love the character and this figure. The only other figures I want from this wave are Carnage and Black Cat. Maybe Electro....

Nice bunch. :) Only missing the Face-Off, Toy Biz Ultimate Cap, and the 1940's Comic Cap (but that one's easily skipped).

Man, I freakin' loved that Face-Off Cap. Until Yesterday it was totally my "Go to" Cap figure.

Yup, did you use the 20% coupon they had as well on the front page of the site.

He is nice, but I'll wait till they make the 3.75 version of him, if anything. I got love for Spidey but not that big of it:p

Also I was checking the MLWP, and wow they really screwed people over in building Puck since Emma is the one with his body and she's obviously the short packed one. Why they didn't put it with Wolverine is beyond me. Oh Hasbro...why oh why.

I needs to get me one of those WWII Captains. Which version is that?

It's the reissue from the Wal-Mart exclusive Captain America First Avenger line. I love the paint job on that one it's far superior to the original release.

I like how Cap's new uniform from Winter Soldier kinda looks like his Commander Rogers outfit, just without the red stripe on the legs. For MU... Commander Rogers was always my default Cap, but it always kinda bothered me a little, but now that feeling has lessened since I can just pretend he is wearing a variation of his Winter Soldier movie outfit.

I agree, the outlines you gave it looks better than the og. There's more definition to the legs and the boots. Nice job!!!

Can't post any pics right now (at work), but my ASM2 Legends Spidey and Superior Spidey just came in, and these figures are AWESOME. I can't stop posing and messing around with these guys! Black Cat is on her way too, but for now, I'd have to say both the Cap and Spidey Legends lines are excellent, and I'm looking forward to future movie specific 6 inchers if they follow this pattern of quality and fun.

avcprime 01-09-2014 07:19 PM

can some one post pictures of Movie spiderman from the new line, please.

I'm coming in to work within two hours, so I'm hoping that the overnight team stocked up on Spidey figures so I can get either movie/superior Spidey. If so I'll post pics, in the mean time...

Hahahaha...Cap's facial expression makes that first pic. It's like "We REALLY don't have time for this..."

Haha awesome pose!

The new Captain America and Spider-Man lines have dragged me back into action figures a bit after quite a long hiatus. I stumbled upon them randomly and grabbed a Superior Spider-Man and a Marvel Now Captain America. They are both great. I have had a Toybiz Ultimate Captain America with a Legends series 1 Captain America head as my go to Cap, but he's been replaced by the Marvel Now version. And while I don't really care for many Spider-Man variations, the Superior Spider-Man has totally won me over. I like how it sort of looks like the Alex Ross concept art for the first Spider-Man movie. And the open hand with thumb makes for some cool poses and a contemplative Peter/Dock Ock at times. I love the figure, and I hope they use it as a base for a standard Spider-Man costume in the future. I would be all over that.

I'm not a fan of the figure but that custom paint job makes him look pretty damn awesome. Makes me miss the old Toy Biz days and their washes.

quinten182 01-10-2014 11:32 AM

Walked into target last night, not even aware these were out (since I don't really collect 6 inch) and though Cap was picked dry, they had every Spidey figure except Carnage! I snagged a Black Cat just because.

Maverick 01-10-2014 12:47 PM

My target put out the captain wave out today. Grabbed all of them expect the WW2 cap. That figure just doesn't do it for me. Now I'm ready for wave 2 and the Spiderman variants.

Nice pics... Kinda jealous of cap in those pics lol

I can't remember the last time I walked into a store and came out with 11 brand new marvel legends figures in one shot. Probably all the way back in the face-off days was the last time. I somewhat feel sorry for whoever came into Target after me today, but just getting one of each wiped out the shelf except for a cap and a spidey. Now I can go back into my cave and not find any new legends again for the next six months.

It was really nice finding the variants on the shelves for Cap. Still disappointing though that we have two BAF's with over 50% reused parts Not that Ultimate Green Goblin will ever see the light of day on my shelves. Take the pics and into a storage bin he will go.

This looks like it could be a good fit at stores in the current climate. Marvel Legends disquised as movie packaging have the ability to be clearanced quicker on the slow sells and allow for restocks due to dvd releases. A good way to trick the retailer into treating it like a movie line when it only slightly is. Too bad we couldn't have had something like this last year for Thor.
