It's heavily speculated that those effects are going to be a part of the base package like they were with the Skystriker. After all, if they were supposed to be a later unlock, he would've basically given away any surprise.

I am fairly certain that all of the unlocks are going to be tank parts, though- it says right on the Haslab page in the "unlocks" section that "Scrap Iron and I are devising upgrades to expand its destructive capabilities". I hope whatever's next has some wow-factor. While I'm perfectly fine with what's come so far, none of it really blows me away the way that the Galactus tiers must have for those that were interested.

Gotcha. I haven't been keeping up with any other speculation. While I'm not exactly wowed by tier 2, I do like the missile racks. But really, I'm mostly indifferent as I would have bought the HISS regardless. As for Galactus, two tiers were new-to-the-line figures, which we are technically getting with the HISS already (granted, the driver being a necessary part of the base offering). The final Galactus unlock was nothing less than a gag gift as far as I'm concerned. To be fair, though, I don't think they had planned a fourth unlock and only caved as more people bitched.

Tier 1/3 have really transformed the HISS.
Now that's three figures(assuming we reach Tier 3 which is very likely).
I expect Tier 4 to be a bit more conservative.

Edit: as well as a set of chin cannons and two mini-guns to plug into the ports on either side of the turret. No one can claim this isn't a deal any longer. The only area on the tank I see now that isn't both fully geared up and staffed is that tail hitch. Bring on tier #4!!!!

Hopefully we see some more extra for the tank…For me, what ever extras come with it, is just extra for me, for sometime now! Hasbro did a good job on this one, and I like to feel like I’m getting my money worth, and I do on the tank.

Note: Extra figure(s) made me cave in for this buy, and if I’m not mistaken, buyers will have a decision on the color scheme for the figure? If so, that idea is amazing in it own right!

Whoa! I was not expecting another unique figure. It's just wild that we're getting an entire HISS crew now. The extra guns are pretty cool, too.

I didn't even notice the Gunner was female at first. That's pretty cool, and good on Cobra for keeping up with the times.

The entire project has a lot of "but wait, there's more!" energy to it now, at this rate we might actually see it hit 16K by Wednesday.

IMO it is so strange to think that the only way to ever get a 6" Hisstank... the most iconic G.I. Joe vehicle IMO... is this one time only crowdfunded campaign. I mean just look at how many times the 3.75" version including all of its many repaints were sold... from the vintage ARAH version in the 80s all the way to the blue Retro Walmart version just last year. And the moment Hasbro announces another Classified Joe vehicle like the Vamp or Stinger then the Classified Hisstank resell value will probably go through the roof.

I love the energy of the project HISS Tank…I wonder who actually came up with the idea for this? I really feel it was someone, other than the typical Hasbro crew, that came up with this “thinking outside the box” idea, or maybe Hasbro hired an outsider, whoever came up with the idea, thank you Hasbro for being smart enough to listen and pull the trigger…

Well there was Marketing involved certainly, but I think most of the credit goes to the G.I.Joe brand team, they did their homework to figure out what fans wanted.

My only issue with this Haslab is the way they handle their stretch goals and the early bird (granted that goal was smashed on day one) in that they base it on the count of backers rather than units/funds. While the large majority will likely only back for a single unit, there have been a fair number of comments indicating 2-3 units pledged with no apparent benefit toward stretch goals. I much prefer the general Kickstarter process of units or funds raised vs the count of backers.

I agree. I thought there was some confusion with this on another 'lab and they said it WAS units, not backers. That if you order 2, they count that as 2 backers. No idea if that's the case. And it wouldn't make sense anyway, instead of just changing it on the campaign.

All hope is that the knuckleheads at Hasblo see the real demand for Joe product and maybe give Classified some factory queue priority.

Nice! My Officer and Fortnite Snake Eyes arrived today. Spirit and Stormshadow have yet to ship.

Heck yeah! My Cobra Officer arrived from Pulse today (glad I'm an opener, 'cause the box looks like it was run over). I also got shipping notices for Storm Shadow and Spirit (also Pulse). This officer is such an excellent figure. So many little details. Delays aside, Classified has quickly become my second-favorite line to collect.

I have yet to open most of my Classified figures as I am woefully lacking on space in my tiny apartment and have been trying to find a house for going on 2 years. That being said, I have also grown fond of this line even though I am not sure why. I am in no way a military kind of guy but I find something enjoyable about Classified. Most likely because my original idea was to supplement them as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents with my Legends collection back when Classified had a more bleeding edge technology/weaponry aesthetic.

It has also become my 2nd favorite line, although something tells me our favorite is not the same LOL. I have grown super attached to the Plunderlings line. Cannot get enough of my little Caribbean goblinoids.

That "being into Joe despite not being a military guy" thing is more common than you'd think. My love for Joe is 100% because they were my #1 line as a kid. I think that's made me a fair bit more accepting of some of the more outlandish aspects of the line. I will concede, though- I'm pretty sure they were my #1 line as a kid because I do come from a family with a long tradition of service. I'm actually the only break in that tradition that I'm aware of since the Revolutionary War.
