Sorry, I have no idea with some pictures get loopsided. I'll get the grasp of it eventually...I hope.

The females are always the hardest to find. That's a well known truth on my 20 years of collecting. And then, random characters, like Gladiator, which are part of memorable storylines, but perhaps not popular enough. Go figure.
Thou we have been getting pretty random figures lately. Obviously, Spider-man sells, so we get more females (Ashley Barton, really? I like the figure, but I'm shocked) , and villains seem to popping up, which is awesome. Avengers is a hot property right now, so we are getting more obscure characters (thou missing a few 70's/80's classics. X-men are all pretty much done, whether good or bad ((except of course a couple females, errm, Polaris, Dazzler anyone?) The ones that we old collectors are missing are the b-teams; like New Mutants, Alpha Flight, New Warriors, Defenders, and Thunderbolts, to name a few (yeah I like Runaways too, but they don't scream classic characters-Nico being the exception).; but I gotta say, I am more and more impressed with the sneaky random choices, Hasbro is putting out there. Someone up there, knows their Marvel stuff. Machine Man, Misty Knight, Blizzard? Satana?!. Heaven. I think I cry a little when Medusa was announced. Now I think the whole Marvel Universe is seen as a whole market (specially under Disney, never shy to milk the cow). So whomever catches the imagination of the people-above can make it into toy form. Which is exciting. I for one, will relish the day when my favourite ginoid Jocasta is made, and I will buy them all and form an army, and you will all hate me. Or not.... |

I still find it incredibly odd that the only Hasbro version of Luke Cage that we have is an SDCC boxset exclusive....I always saw him as a pretty core character in the Marvel Universe, and it's especially odd since we've gotten two Iron-Fists in the span of a little more than a year (provided a last minute change doesn't push him out of the Strange wave).

considering everyone is already getting their X-men waves, im wondering what's taking so long for the spider-man wave to ship out? im waiting here wondering WTH lol

That's not even including redos from both TB and Hasbro eras, that's just straight up never done before figures. So yeah, X-men are nowhere near done, there is a vast vein of figures to mine there. |

Nighthawk would be a awesome figure if they ever get to him.

To chime in on X-Men figures that need to be made, I agree that we need a new Angel. The Toy Biz one is very odd looking in my opinion. Aside from the wings that topple him over all the time, his shoulders are very ball-y. Like it looks like his shoulders are literally made out of balls (and I know they are ball joints, but his are super big). I know that happened a few times with the Toy Biz guys.
Nash, that list is fantastic. I thought there was a rumor about Shatterstar in an upcoming wave? I really want any 90's X-Force characters. It would be great it their costumes were from the 90's, but I would take any version. |

PS Madrox is Multiple Man. |
^ Uuuh, Nash, no Layla Miller? For shame! I mean, she will never see the light of day as a figure (or again in comic books for that matter), but damn is she a great character.
Speaking of Ms. Pryor, I'm re-reading the lead up to Inferno, and I forgot how sympathetic Madelyne is. She may be one of the most understated villains in Marvel. It's a shame that, when she's came back into the fold, she was written as a bog-standard "evil ex-wife" character. Quote:
If this year has proven anything, it's that Hasbro A) Shouldn't produce as many figures as they can, as the quality of the products dip, which also seems to impeach the SDCC set, and B) Must avoid releasing multiple waves under one umbrella name. It's nice that Cap is getting three waves, but when stores overstock on the first one in anticipation of the movie and thus can't bring in the two new sets, there's a problem. Spider-Man is okay, since his name tends to move most of his product, but the other three needed seperate names/codes. Avengers, Civil War, and Captain America waves would have worked fine. |

Maybe we can get a Women Of The Underboob SDCC exclusive next year featuring Selene, Maddie and Morgan Le Fay?
