It's a good figure- not the best articulation but it's got a great damn sculpt.
I chromed his hammer out with silver enamel.

Looking at him, he looks...older. I think I may try and make a MU Odin from him- or at least from that head.

His arms look great too- huge and ripped- next to a MU muscle-guy like Wonderman, this thor is obviously a step above.

My little Marvel Haul from yesterday. I didn't find a BE/DD pack for under $25 (comic shop price blew goats) so I got one off of BBTS along with the Adam Warlock/Thanos comic pack. The MU singles were buy 2 get one free from TRU so I got a Dark Hawkeye for a friend. The thor stuff were toys I had never even seen in my area, so when I saw them in KC I got them for the same deal. Got that extra Loki just to get a staff for the King Loki I have coming in the mail.

so i was arranging some of my xmen figs this morning cause a couple fell over. I realized i had a near complete team of the "all new, all different, Xmen!" from the 70s. It occured to me that we REALLY need a Banshee and Polaris figure to really complete that whole team.
Wolverine
Cyclops
Banshee
Storm
Nightcrawler
Sunfire
Thunderbird
Colossus
Iceman
Havok

man, the x-men sure had a sausagefest lineup lol.

yes but she would be necessary in that outfit for the display mentioned above.

PS I would rather have a Banshee figure either way always like his costume design and felt he really got to shine during and a little after the Phalanx Covenant

Picked up Dark Hawkeye at Target today, they also had Kitty Pryde, Black Widow, Havok, and House Of M spiderman if anyones looking for those.

But steal of the day was at Walmart where I got the Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 pack for $4.50 on clearance, they had like 3 more too.

I'll give you $9 for one. Double yo money!

As for Banshee, how about XMO:Wolverine Victor Creed (Liev Shrieber) head with Dr. Rex (GI Joe RoC) hair?

That would give you a "screaming" mouth and long sideburns, plus long wavy hair. I think that Creed has fangs on the head sculpt though....

Dude if you can scoop up a set for me, we can work something out. Ive been holding off on that set, but at that price it's a no-brainer!

Fedup23 03-03-2012 10:56 AM

Dude. Buy all the 3-packs and return them to Target without a receipt. You'll make $45 in store credit! So worth it.

Here's my two hauls:

Dear Hasbro,
Please make a Strong Guy, we have not had a Strong Guy figure since the days of the old Marvel Superheroes Line of the 90's. And Polaris, Mysterio, a decent Venom and Doc Ock, Vulture, Green costume Phoenix, Arcade, Black Tom Cassidy, Banshee 1 and 2, Marvel Girl (Rachel Grey), Ursa Minor, Northstar, Aurora, Sasquatch, Snowbird, Shaman, more AIM Troopers, Hydra Soldiers, Maria Hill, Sharon Carter, Baron Zemo, Sin.......

Figures id like to see are The Celestials (Hargen, Tefral, Nezzar, Gammenon, Arishem, Jemiah, Eson, Oneg, and Ziran) if done on a subscription basis with enough gathered interest 1 a month for 9 months Id be in so quickly it aint even funny. You hear me Hasbro!!

That said Sasquatch was hinted at at one of these toy conventions and Vulture is on the way I mean all they would have to do is sculpt some feathers around the neck of the Falcon buck and do a new head mold...Vulture done lol. (All speculation iof course). Also wheres a custom shrunken down head of the Legends Vulture when you need it...Im looking at you Glassman Customs!!

Thanks Vampire,
I have gone to that sight.. but they dont specify the overall width of the 3 tier stand. They only show the width of the inside of their case. So, I know its fits in their 15 1/4 case.. but i dont get a clear view if there is 1/2 inch on each side to fit into my 14 1/4 space. :) Thanks for the info though.. I emailed their customer support..

Good luck with that tall order of requests, Banshee I thought was being made, They already made Guardian, Sasquatch would be a good gigantic battle pack and they could add SnowBird , they're making puck, So I figure they'll try to complete the team. Aim,shield and Hydra figures we all want, the original teambuilder 3 pack they made was spot on, they just need alternate headswaps, I can't see them making them single carded, but teams packs I could see made, I also wished they'd make a sinister 6 boxset which would get a lot of good figures made. I would love a Mysterio figure! I think the spiderman Venom Eddie Brock version is a solid figure just needs more leg/arm articulation.

BigHanksCustoms 03-03-2012 01:00 PM

They should definitely do Sasquatch, and do it in the vein of Marvel Legends where they can retool just a bit and get Wendigo and Man-Thing. I'd love a Man-Thing with a little Howard the Duck static figure........
